She is off to a great start.
I sprouted her right in the rockwool in the DWC. Looking forward to see what we can make this lady do for us. My tent seems to work best with mature plants in the 36” range although my setup can handle 60” in height the width becomes an issue. I plan to flower her when she is about 16” tall.
It’s hard not to add a little nitrogen with the pale leaves she produces. I think the pale leaves are cool. They will also be droopy. She has been working on her second true leaves and has them open.
I had a chiller go down and fed ro water for about 4 hours (changed when temperature reached 69). Critical Jack took it hard and necrosis set in on both her first and second leaves. Amnesia Kush was unaffected, kush Banner has necrotic spots on her first leaves and green Gelato was unaffected.
It turns out that she was not suffering with an actual deficiency but rather the dreaded root rot, likely caused by the solution temperature exceeding 75F. I didn’t recognize it until the leaf tip turned up and dried out (sure sign of root rot). I hope I’ve caught it in time. I’m giving her Hydroguard, sensizym, voodoo juice, piranha, and tarantula. I have also added an air bubbler to the reservoir since our bad visitors don’t like high dissolved oxygen levels.
She looks much better this week. I’ve added some Roots Excelurator to speed up fresh root development. Poor little thing. I’m confident that she will be just fine going forward.
She looks so much better. She has a good bit of nice crisp white new roots. I will continue to nurse her until she gets stronger and is ready to flower. I’m still playing with my nutrient levels and composition but the lower levels are pretty obviously appreciated by the ladies.

I think I’ve found my vegative formula (see above for ppm and nutrients/additives used with amounts). Everything has a great color phototropism is quick too.
She looks a bit deficient. Next week I’ll raise her up about 100ppm. Overall though she looks to have recovered from the root rot. I’ll be giving her a few more weeks of strong vegative growth.
She is looking great. She is rated over 600g/m so she is basking in the ample light provided by the 1000w HPS. I’m hoping I can get a nice 30” diameter plant and 3-4 feet tall.

She looks awesome. Hopefully she will give me a little more stretch. Maybe 10-11 more inches. I’m not doing very good at obtaining 3 foot tall plants. I have two that are about 2’ tall and hopefully not done, one is almost 5 foot, the other is just over 4 foot.

She’s not really happy with me. I’ve been keeping two plants per tank and it really doesn’t seem to work well for one of the plants. In this case the Amnesia Kush was ready for her final 2 week pk boost before flush. Jack probably needed another week for her pk boost and as such has burned from the pk, she is also finishing to soon. I expect she will not have the expected yield. Moving forward I will be reducing to 4 plants in flower (one per tank). I guess it’s just another lesson learned.
She has sticky dense flower clusters covered in trichomes. I’m flushing her this week and plan to harvest her this weekend. My next update will be the harvest report. Thanks for sharing the journey!
Looking good bro of to great start how wide is your tent . I got a new one a month back but for sure I think once Bush out is going hit sides is like 60x60x140 but I will upgrade a few month get another and use as germ tent or drying tent .
@Tazard,haha I know exactly what mean lad I bought 2 like that last year think I could rock side side in spare room put up and barely fit the one in there 😂
@Nebula420, Thanks for the heads up. My wife and I have an agreement that if we get “scared” and want to destroy the garden we have to wait 24 hours, in case it’s something we smoked. I tend to harvest nearer the end (mostly cloudy few amber) so hopefully I’ll miss the paranoia since it’s often associated with more clear Trichs. I’ve read the same about Acid Dough and I’ve grown 9 plants of her with no paranoia.
I’ll be using Bud Candy/Big Bud once I start flowering, you feel like you got a positive effect on the flavor of your bud or an increase in yield? I was going to feed them to one of my two plants, and leave them out of the others nutrient stack to experiment lol. Great looking buds, though!
@LazLow, funny you bring that up. I’ve been wondering the same. I have committed myself though about March to sponsors but I would love to do 3-4 different things to some clones to see how effectively I’m buying nutrients. 🤔
