Amped to be trying full CBD grow! Had 100% germination on two seeds but one of them grew upside down (not the fist time this has happened to me) so I planted another which germinated as well as is growing well albeit a few days behind the first one.
Happy growing :)
All good in the second week. Reduced the light a little as she was showing some light stress. I saw this on a previous grow - the slight yellowing on the leaves - I think it might be because of the 20/4 schedule but not worried as she's growing well. Could be my imagination, but I think I've taken the photos from the same orientation each morning, so she appears to be swivelling 😂
Happy growing!
She's starting to take off now with growth speeding up, and I've turned up the light intensity to 80%. I also added a top layer of fresh worm castings from my wormery, which is why you'll see some egg shells in the pics. All good so far!
Happy growing :)
Looking good in first week of flower, and I can already see the purple starting to appear around the pistils. Did some light defoliation and tucking to expose lower nodes, and I've increased light to max - I'll just adjust height from here on. Giving her 1l every three days with the third day plain ph 6.5 water
Cheers
Hi All
She's stretched quite a lot this week and flowers are all starting to form so I've been doing some tucking and defoliation to expose them. I haven't done any LST this time as I left it too late and the stem is like a tree trunk already! If I grow this breed again I'll LST really early. I've got two girls on the go and although I'm only documenting the one in the diary, it's interesting to see the differences between them - the one is way taller and has darker leaves while the other is on a stand to get her closer to the light. I've also noticed that the leaves on the taller one seem to be quite droopy - I'm pretty sure it's not over watering as I leave 2 days in between each water. Otherwise all good
Happy growing
All looking good, I think she's finished stretching and starting to focus on flower now. No trichomes yet. One or two gnarly looking leaves down low but nothing I'm worried about. Still giving her 1litre every three days, with plain water every 3rd watering, although I might give her extra on the next plain to see if I can get some runoff and prevent salt build-up. My last grow was in a 7 gallon and this is only a 3 gallon so might be more of a risk. Light down to 10 inches from main cola.
happy growing!
She growing well, although there's yellowing on the lower leaves and I think it's too soon for senescence, although saying that she is so fast it might be! Not too worried though as I think she's getting enough food. Hopefully the buds will start fattening up now. Had some big humidity swings and heat swings this week and it's not bothered her - pretty hardy plant. I'd say my biggest issues that I didn't LST her early on, so the main cola is ok but the other buds are further from the light than I'd like normally - live and learn :)
Happy growing!
She's putting on some weight now which is good to see. I've cranked up on the notes this week - I figure another week of max notes then a week of flush. 2 weeks left I reckon. Humidity has been pretty high - higher than I want during flower, but she's doing ok still. Trichomes are a lot smaller than I've seen before so she's not very resinous - looking forward to smoking her now :)
Happy growing
She'll need a bit more time than I expected - still loads of white pistils so maybe another two weeks. I've got nuts burn and some light burn but that hasn't bothered her man far as I can tell - she's still adding good weight.
Happy growing!
Last week of feeding - going to plain water for the next two weeks. I've reduced light to 18/6. She's got these odd looking knobs out the top of the cola which are small branches in the flower - not seen that before in the same way. I'm hoping two weeks of plain water and she'll be ready to harvest
Just on plain water now, and moved light up as well. Pistils are all going yellow and more senescence lower down so she's close. Planning on harvest next week sometime. Super excited and looking forward to curing and trying her out.
Really easy to grow - I didn't give her much TLC at all and she still produced more than I expected.
edit: done the smoke test - wow! I wasn't sure what to expect as not had CBD before (other than tea) and was really impressed! Super chilled and relaxing, and while there's no "high" I would be wary of smoking this at work depending on what you do of course. I'll be mixing this with my regular bud in future.
Easy grow - are a really hardy strain! I maxed light (had some burn) overdid the nutes (note burn) and she still produced more than I was expecting from such a small fast growing plant. I've not tried her yet and it's my first CBD grow so not sure what to expect, but for anyone wanting to go the CBD route then this strain is fast and hard to kill :)
@Dubizilla, Cheers! She's a hardy girl for sure - really low maintenance. Buds not as dense as I'd like but can probably improve if I grow this one again 😁
Looks great! this will be my next one to grow, I'm a fan of CBD strains having a clear head and relaxing/buzzing body is really brings me in a healing meditative state!!
