Hi guys,
This week I did something special. Something y'all probably gonna argue, but I did it anyway. I defoliated the shiiiiiiit out of every single plant in the tent ๐, a few weeks into blooming. I had the urge to lollipop the plants and start focusing the plants' energy distribution to the main stems and only the biggest forming branches and buds. Only time will tell if it was a good idea, but I took into consideration the fact that I'm running a pretty nice DWC setup and the plants are practically on point every single week. They are looking really good.
I also added 30 Liters of water with nutrients, they seem to dig it. The pH and PPM are also on point. I've also added 2h to the light schedule. They look super happy so the recovery time should be minimal, like less than 24h because of the knowledge from all the other defoliations (not that heavy tho) before this season.
So that's it for this week. Please comment on the uber heavy defoliation this week. What's your opinion? I wanna know!
XOXO

@LittleJohn, Thank you, Sir! I'm also looking forward to see your Straw'Nana grow because you've started your nana 2 weeks before mine. My Strawberry Banana is my first soil grow so I'm looking forward to see how this little experiment works out :)
(nice puppy you got there btw)
I'm usually defoliating up until about week 4 of flower trying to get as many bud sites to stretch to the trellis as possible. I've been hesiatnt to lollipop becuase I figured that I could always use the popcorn buds for shake but now I'm growing enough it's not worth the time to trim. looking good!
