Week 9 - I took to the question boards this week, because the largest afghan continued to show signs of something. I received great feedback and recommendations. I went with @Chow_13 recommendation and flushed two of my plants. - One Afghan and one Gorilla Glue. It seems as they might of been suffering from nutrient lock. Given that they are approaching the end of their life, I decided it was a good idea. I flushed each plant with about 2-3 gallons of store bought distilled. I plan on not feeding these ladies anymore, allowing them to use up all the nutrients they soaked up in their life. They have already started to cannibalize themselves in attempts to feed the growing bud. Hopefully this will make the bud taste better and burn smoother. The other two plant that are healthy might get one more small feed. They are still growing, and the gorilla glue started to flower late. I won't harvest these until about 2 weeks after the flushed ones. I'm going to keep an eye on the trichomes to see when they will be ready for harvest. Speaking on Trichomes, using a USB digital microscope, I took pictures of the flushed Afghans trichomes. Looking over many of the buds, it looks that about 100% of them are cloudy, I didn't see clear or orange ones. Hopefully I see about 20% amber trichomes in 2 weeks, which is when I plan on harvesting. This week I also installed a Govee Hygrometer Wireless Thermometer/Humidity Sensor which you can see hanging in some of the pics and a screen shot of the phone app interface. Works well, the cheap digital one that came w/ my first setup fell and broke, so I needed to buy a new one. I think it works well and it's more accurate. I have it hanging in the middle of the tent in the space where the plants are actually growing. Stay tune for updates next week....

Grow Questions

Lower leaves are starting to yellow on some of the plants. I think I have corrected my cal/mag issues but now these yellow leaves. Going into week 9 of flower. Is this normal because of the age of the mature plant or a deficiency? Or is it still cal/mag deficiency?

Looks like an overfeed to me on the flowering plant though if the yellowing leaves on the veg plants are towards the bottom of the canopy and then work thier way up usually its a sign of nitrogen defiancy just give her some more veg feed and she should pull through autos are some of the trickiest plants to feed they always like very little to begin with then in the first few weeks of flower they want everything it can be hard to keep on top of and your certainly not alone also with the overfeeding its very very common towards the end of a grow just make sure you extend your flush by a couple of days and you should be fine :) best of luck brother.
