These all popped in around 3 days and are now 1 week old. Have just dropped the pellets into rockwool cubes pre soaked in ph’d water at 5.5 with a splash of rhizotonic.
Been dipping the bottom of the blocks in a week nutrient solution every two or three days. This stops the block getting saturated and helps get the roots out the bottom of the block.
Coming along ok. One of the Runtz have started to yellow off a little bit for some reason. Have taken one of each out to keep as mums and have replaced with two white widows which are a week ahead. Dipped blocks a few times this week when needed.
These got put on the tables today as there were plenty of roots coming out of the blocks. The two runtz are living up to there name. Tiny at the minute. Just running the pump a few times a day for 15mins until the roots really get going.
The white widows are a week ahead so I dropped a net down quite low on these and tucked the tops of them under the net to try and keep it all even. The runtz have really picked up and have caught up. One of the sherberts isn’t looking to great but I think it’s down to my overwatering than anything else. If the roots pick up will flower these next week. Pump is now running 24/7 but only on its slowest setting.
These are coming along really well now and will flipping to 12/12 in a day or so. Changed the res at the beginning of this week and removed some of the big fan leaves to open up some of the bud sites. They bounced back well.
Flipped these at the start of the week and changed res. Won’t start using bloom bites until a some flowers appear. They’re all looking nice and healthy and bushy. Have dropped a 50w aquarium heater into each res as the water was around 17 degrees and want it around 20.
More good growth with the stretch this week. Getting a nice dense canopy which I won’t touch until the end of this week. This is the biggest growth phase in the cycle and I think the less stress they get the better in the first three weeks of 12/12. Won’t do a res change until I see some flowers this week. Will just keep topping up with half strength feed.
Changed the res added the flowering feed. These all seem to like an e.c of 1. Let it creep up slightly and got a little bit of burn on the tips in a few places. They’ve all stretched nicely except the Runtz which are still quite short compared to the rest.
Changed res for new feed. Starting to stack up nicely. The blue sherberts look lovely plants. Still getting a bit of burn on the tips at e.c 1.1. Can’t make it much lower or there will be no feed i there at all!!
Coming along nicely and it’s now starting to smell good and get frosty in there. Changed res at start of the week. Have got a small aquarium heater in each tank to keep temps up around 20c where they like it. Looking forward to see these starting to fatten up. Reckon they still have 4-5 weeks to go.
Lovely smell coming from these. Added the PK 13/14 when the res was changed. Have got some burn on a couple of them but nothing major. One more week of full strength feed for these.
Now starting to fatten up and are nice and frosty. Hard to choose between them at the minute on looks but the blue sherbets are definitely some big girls. Buds are dense as fuck and smell lovely. Some of the leaves are quite burnt now so they’re not the best looking lot. Can definately see the affects of the overdrive. Great product. Last week of feed then on to flush.
Smelling great and getting frostier by the day. Trichs still mostly clear with a few going cloudy. Dropped temps a few degrees. Buds are lovely and dense. One more week of feed then flush.
Looking beautiful this week. Getting some lovely fades on the white widows. The blue sherbets are really packing weight on and smell banging. Trichs now really milking up. Will just keep diluting the res with plain water this week to drop the ec slowly down before the final 5 day flush. Will also drop the res temps to try and shock them into a few more trichs.
They’re finally getting there now. Trichs are filling up nicely and they’re ready for a flush. Going of run some flawless finish through the roots for 8 hours and then fill the res with plain water for a few days. Some beautiful looking buds on these. So dense and they smell absolutely amazing. Looks to be some really good wait on the blue sherbets. Love barneys strains they always deliver.
Still they go on!! Although they looked ready last week the trichs still weren’t all milky. Never really followed breeders times. Although it’s a gruelling wait I’d rather them continue to put wait on and get stronger rather than just chop them because they look ready. Trichs all looking good today so will take the heaters out of the res and really drop the water temps and give them 72 hours dark to try and shock them into giving a few more before I chop them. Seriously frosty and seriously smelly. Can’t wait to try.
Still one of my favourite strains. Some beautiful flowers to look at as always with a white widow. These will all now be hung until dry then straight into Grove bags for a three week cure. I think these are brilliant. No need to burp just bag it and leave it.
