Planted the seeds in fox farm ocean forrest. Pics are 7 days after their first day above ground! I am debating if I should ph the water with this grow. Tap around here is a bit high at 7. ppm is very very low. I have all the equipment, just lazy! Let me know what you guys think! I'm planning on using super soil for this grow and have read ph isn't as important. This will be my first grow using organic grow methods. Used to grow a lot back about 10 years ago. A lot has changed! Looking forward to growing with you all!

Big day for the girls! Their roots started popping out the bottom so time to transplant to their final 5 gallon homes. I plucked the 5th set of leaves that were coming in, in preparation for scrogging. Trying out "super soil" vs "living soil". In the super soil pot I mixed 1.5 lbs of natures living soil concentrate in the bottom 1/3 of the pot with FF coco Loco. In the living soil pot I mixed 1.5 lbs of natures living soil with FF coco Loco throughout the entire pot. So far just been giving them tap water when dry about every 2 days. So far so good!

Pretty certain I topped the one plant a few days too early. Glad she's finally developing new growth below the cut! Otherwise everything is going pretty well. Lowered the light to about 12" over the plants and lowered light intensity to 50% which should put me at a par of around 700ish. Otherwise just water every few days. I think the soil was a bit too wet when I transplanted which I think slowed them down a bit also. Thoughts? Also debating topping one more time once they grow a bit more. Would love some opinions on that. My space is only 36"x20" planning on scrogging. Thanks in advance! Also my cat chewed a few leaves this week 😖 *midweek update. Day after updating I trained the plants upright as they were on their sides. Started training one of the plants. The other looks like it needs a few days and it looks like I accidently ended up FIMing. Excited to see how they grow up! Second midweek update. Added pics of the screen I built. First time making one! And a whole closet pic.

This is my first time attempting a "Real scrog". Any tips greatly appreciated. I cut of the 2 lowest branches off one plant. Have 8 tops the other plant I've left all the side branches and also have 8 tops. Should I trim the lower most side branches? Should I top one more time?

SCROG is where you use a screen or net to even out the canopy. As the plant grows through the screen you tuck it back down under the net. You don't need to top a plant to correctly SCROG. What it looks like your doing to me is mainlining. Creating even growth for all tops to get the same amount of nutrients. Its looking good. You will want to cleanup the lower section, But I would wait for a week or so to let her get some growth in. If you are planning on adding a screen and tucking then I would let her grow out a bit, Add your screen/net and once the net is 50% filled flip to flower. The first 2 weeks after flipping keep tucking and the screen will fill out. Then do some cleanup of the lower canopy below the net. Happy Growing

I'll be away for the next week. Leaving the gf in charge of the grow 😟 haha. Continuing LST trying to keep the girls as low and wide as possible. I have my screen setup 9" over soil base, I'm sure they'll be through the screen by the time I get back. Temps have risen about 5 degrees the last week since its no longer AC season. Watering every .25 gallons of tap water about every 3 days or so when the pots feel light. So far I'm happy with how things have been growing, hope I will be next week as well! Also seems the plant I accidently FIMed is growing 5 tops!

Came back to slightly over thirsty girls. Tried some LST before they were hydrated and broke a stem on the FIMed plant. I wrapped it in a it of cling wrap to hold it together and keep in moisture... seemed like a good idea. Please tell me if it's not! Otherwise looking good. Thinking of starting flower as soon as the break heals a bit. Next day did some defoliation. My cats think it's for them 🤦‍♂️. Alright I took some clones and flipped to flower since these girls are filling out faster than anticipated. The broken stem doesn't seem to have slowed anything down at all but time will tell.

Almost finishing up their first week of flowering. So far still just watering with regular tap water untreated. Been doing some defoliation here and there and lst under the trellis to try and fill out the whole tent. I think I veged a little bit too long. Clones still looking healthy. Can't wait for flowers to start showing up!

Things are moving along well! Just been giving each plant about half gallon of tap water every 3 days. 2 waterings ago I watered with growers recharge. Today I did some defoliation on the left plant. Only took a few leaves off the right plant. Transplanted the clones yesterday. 4 of 6 had roots popping out. I'll only need 3 of these tops. Might only keep one as a mother and grow out some new genetics. I only took clones from the right plant which I regret, but there weren't enough shoots on the other to take clones from at the time. Debating if I should add a second screen. Input welcome!

Everything is looking great! Now at day 18 of flower. Quite a bit of stretch and filling out over the last week. Still just watering with tap water. Doing daily light defoliation. Did the heaviest defoliation of their lives today. Hope I didn't overdo it! Pics are all after defoliation.

Thought this is light burn from 25% milk spray to address PM. Treating another girl besides her the same way (the one with PM) and it looks fine. FF cocoloco living soil. Tap water left out 3 days ph 6.7 40 ppm. Added calmag and chaching things have gotten worse. Top fed Dr eart

Hi there Tckfui, this looks like calmag deficiency you're right. this you can see from the newer growth being affected first and the fact you have been adding a bit more in the spray than usual. You know that absorption rates in the leafs are 80% efficient compared with absorption in the roots which is only 20% efficient. so it became a (pretty rare but possible) Mg lockout. If you can try to flush, go for it. water until runoff, then add 20% more water. Then skip Mg for one or two waterings and add it back again. Some genetics or phenotypes are just a little more sensitive than others , that's all. hope this helps ! 🚀

Day 25 of flower. Everything is going great! Have just been watering tap, added a bit of calmag one watering. The shorter more indica leaning pheno is already getting a bit of frost! Gained a few inches in height over the last week but mostly flower growth now 😎 Been neglecting the clones and letting them get root bound to stunt their growth until I know what I'm going to do with them.

So this sort of just happened overnight. Plants were very thirsty this morning and noticed a handful of leaves that are fading. I fed them 1tbs of dr earths flower girl and 4ml of calmag in a gallon split between the 2. Should I add some of their 4-4-4 as well?

It is nitrogen deficiency and would not worry. The plant is trying to finish up. Would add additional potassium and phosphorus, light to no nitrogen. Let the plant Naturally defoliate itself from the bottom. Should be ok and work good from here out. Good luck and happy growing 🌱

Looks like I'm getting an N deficiency and possibly another deficiency or two. Added 2 tbs of dr earths flower girl and 1tbs of their veg fertilizer to try and boost N a bit. They recommend 4 tbs but trying to be slightly moderate. Last watering I added 4ml of calmag to a gallon split between the two. Also added .25 tsp real growers recharge. The smell is starting to get stronger. Mostly from the shorter frostier plant on the left. Smells very very much like artificial grape with some other fruity/sweet smells. I bought this strain cuz I wanted chemical stank! Not fruity sweetness lol. But it is quite a nice smell just totally opposite what I was aiming for. Well see how the other girl smells as it matures 😎

The smell is still getting stronger. As I said last week the plant on the left has a very sweet, artificial grape smell to it which I totally didn't expect or want. But smells great! The plant on the right is starting to frost and get some stank! This plant is definitely smelling more in line with what I wanted! Very dank, rubber like chemical smell. I love it! The plant on the right is definitely a much heavier feeder so hoping next grow with her clones I'll get the feeding down better. Today I fed them both with .5 tsp of growers recharge per gallon of water alone with .25 tsp of a product called incredible bulk .1-10-25 and 5ml of calmag plus. Hoping the plant on the right will start to look a little less starving soon! Otherwise things are going well!

Today is day 46 of flowering. I've increased watering slightly from .5 gallons per plant every 3 days to .6 gallons every 2.5 days. I've been adding 5ml per gallon of calmag to each plant as well as molasses here and there. The plant on the right I've also been feeding with the same flower booster fertilizer that's high in P and K. They both are looking very pretty! And getting pretty stinky! Slightly less concerned with the leaves on the right plant now. I noticed a few brown spots on a few leaves on the plant on the right. Think it needs more cal-mag but not sure.

Everythings going pretty well! The plant on the right still seems to have a calcium deficiency even thiugh im adding calmag with each watering. The plant on the left is starting to get a nice purple fade. Everything is swelling and smelling nicely. Missed a watering by a few hours again yesterday. They've been very fickle about watering the last few weeks. Which lead to the leaves kind of flopping. Also heat has been a concern of mine, the canopy temp has been about 84 midday. And I think the tallest Buds are starting to foxtail a bit now. Might just be the final stigma throw though. Trying a bunch of different things to get Temps down. Ordered am ac infinity t4, it was not as strong as the vivosun 4" I have so sending it back. Ordered a acinfinity t6 and have a duplicate of this grow setup 90% complete for the clones. Going to try and vent both tents with the t6. Wish me luck!

Here we are at day 60 of flower. I've changed my watering regiment a bit to now watering 1 liter per day, rather than the half gallon every 2-3 days I have been doing most of the grow. Trying my best to keep VPD and DLI in check. And impatiently waiting for these girls to finish up! Also super upset I didn't cline the girl in the left. The sweet grapey smell she's had all grow is still there but more in the background. The dominant smell now is very dank and chemically. The bud structure looks like the best I've ever grown. Thick, dense crystally bud Thinking I might try to reveg her. Well see. The other plant still smells tastier to me bud the bud structure looks like most bud I've grown. Nothing super special. They are much much taller but less frosty, less dense, less thick.

Alright day 67 of flower. The left plant is dense! The right plant is still pretty airy and I don't have high hopes of it really filling in too much. I've been watering at lights on 1 liter of water. Nothing else. I raised the light a bit and lowered the intensity from 100% to 60% to try and preserve the terps by reducing heat (notice some fox tailing on the right plant) and also hopefully speed up their finishing a bit. I'm hoping they'll be ready next week but won't be at all surprised if they need two more weeks 😆

It has been a bitter sweet 3 days leading up to harvest. I love these plants! They're the best I've grown (at least the left is) genetic wise. 2 days ago I noticed the right plant had a small bit of PM where two buds were resting on eachother. No biggie. Chopped off a nice 1/4 oz size bud amd tossed it. Yesterday repeate.. also noticed the plants have no smell (later realized nothing has smell or taste! Thanks covid!). Today I noticed another bud with powdery mildew and decided to chop instead of risking the whole crop. Super pumped but also very afraid of what I'll find on the other side of drying 😟. Wish me luck growmies! Also chop was on day 10 weeks 1 day into flowering (71 days). Really wanted to give them another week or two.
