EDIT: I realized that I had counted my weeks wrong, so I consolidated all the notes for the germination phase into this germination week entry.
I will be growing these Seedbank Auto White Widow plants (2) alongside the ongoing Pink Kush single plant I've got in the tent. It might be a terrible idea, but at worst, I'll learn from it :D
This time around I soaked my cubes in ph neutral water, which I think was my problem the first time around. After about 48 hours I can see one seed already popped. The second may have, but I haven't dug into the cube to find out yet.
Although this week is not done, it has been eventful. Firstly, I am grateful that I have learned about PAR this week. I'm also grateful that I'm in a position where, even if they both die, I will be fine. I have to remind myself of that fact because otherwise, it's easy to be disappointed. I've only invested a couple of weeks into these plants and minimal dollars. I will survive, even if they don't. The next grow will be better due to the learning I'm doing here and now.
Sept 26
Left is continuing to improve, although it still cannot support itself.
Right continues to show no signs of revitalization. I think it could be dead. It's gone now.
I learned about PAR today and decided to check it with the Photone app. Such a life saver and I would highly recommend it for the low cost of $5.99 for the full spectrum LED option.
I realized that the babies were only getting 20-50 PAR so reconfigured the light setup and got them to around 150-200, which is closer to the target range of 200-400. I'm using the recommended PAR targets from this video (https://youtu.be/_2MilB52ySw). For reference the targets are:
Seedling: 200-400
Veg: 400-600
Flower: 600-900
After consulting others, I decided to transplant into a 3gal pot and stick it under the spider farmer light inside the grow tent with the pink kush. Fingers crossed.
Sept 24
Disaster. I took off the humidity domes for a few hours to lower the humidity like I had done so many times in the past. This time, they were apparently too dry to survive. They either got too hot or too dry or both, but they both significantly wilted.
I was able to construct a support structure for them with green tie material to prop them up.
We were a little touch-and-go for a few days because I way over-watered them once moving them to the solo cups. The humidity was too high and the stems drooped because of it. Lesson learned! But the good news is that both plants made it and are looking much better now. I want to keep them here as long as possible before moving them into the grow tent with the Pink Kush, primarily because the kush needs more light and I don't want to burn the little babies. I will moving them straight from the solo cup into their 3gal home when I have to, and won't transplant after that at all.

Still looking good in general. #2 hasn't yet unfurled its cotyledons and so I'm a little worried it won't. However, the stem is still very green and I'm sure it will in time.
#1 has unfurled it's cotyledons and I can see the nubs of some flowers.
I turned up the light to the brightest setting to try and get them to stop stretching.

Transplanted from germination station to solo cup with humidity domes. Sprayed the top of soil with ph neutral water and that’s it for watering.
They seem to be stretching a bit.
I put on the reading setting with 1/3 lowest brightness and will leave on for 24/0. I’d like to keep them in this setting for as long as possible before introducing them to the tent and pink kush.
Next time don’t water after transplanting.

Both seeds have "popped" and have pushed themselves above the cube.
11
Watered 0.25L of new mixture
1tsp grow big
3 tsp big bloom
3/4 tbsp cal mag
8
Watered .25L of neutral water
6
Watered with mostly reg water but had a little grow big in it too.
October 20
More stakes. Looking pretty good!
October 18
1.25 water with some runoff no measure
Fed with the WW mixture
More stakes.
October 16
1.5L water with about 15% runoff at 1900
Why so high? Not sure.
LST by staking
27
Watered, but didn't record amount.
24
Watered, but didn't record amount.
21
Fed 2L of WW mix
Halved a few large fan leaves
Ppm of runoff was2300
Watered another 0.5L
Things are going well. It's growing so much that I'm having to stake it down and defoliate every few days. It's expressed sex and is about to flower, I believe.
4
Watered 3L of WW for about 15% runoff at 3300
Nov 1
Watered 3L of WW for about 15% runoff at 3300
Overall, not sure why the runoff PPM is so high, but I'm not seeing any issues, so I'll keep going as long as it doesn't get higher.
November 10
Watered 3L of WW mix for .75L runoff at 3600
November 7
Watered 2.25 L for about .4L of runoff at 3900
17
watered 3.5L of new WW mix for .5L of runoff at 3700
14
Watered 3L of WW mix for .6L of runoff at 5600
alarmed at his ppm so watered another 1L at ppm 300 to get 0.75L runoff at 4000ppm
It continues to go well. I don't think the nutrients are dialed in, but they're passable for now.
November 23
3.5L of WW mix for 0.75L runoff at 3800
November 21
Watered 3.5L of new WW mix for about 0.5L runoff didn’t measure ppm
She continues to grow and keep on keepin' on. I'm very impressed with how well she's doing with very little input from me, apart from diligently watering and feeding.
December 29
2L of WW but didn’t measure runoff and left to reabsorb.
December 26
3.5L of WW but didn’t measure runoff and left to reabsorb.
December 8
Watered 3L. Didn't measure runoff or ppm and left to reabsorb.
December 5
Still looking great. Some branches appear to be getting pretty heavy and I wonder if I’ll need to add support.
Watered 3.125L but didn’t measure runoff or ppm.
December 15
Watered 3.5L WW and let run into bottom of tent.
December 11
Watered 3L of WW and let it run into bottom of the tent.
December 9
Removed the pink kush from the tent and reorganized the extra space for the WW.
We're flushing now! Going into the last week after this. I've asked a friend to help with next week since I'll be traveling, but there's not much left to do at this point.
December 20
Watered 3L of ph water and it ran into bottom of the tent.
December 18
Watered 3.5L WW and let run into bottom of the tent.
Last week! I had a friend help me with this last week as I was out of town. I'll be doing a dry trim with this plant, as well as letting it dry out a few days before chopping. I'll be plunging it into darkness for at least 48 hours before harvesting too.
I'll check back in after it's dry in a few weeks.
January 1
Harvested and put into the tent for drying.
December 29
Darkness.
December 25
Watered 3L of ph water and it ran into bottom of the tent.
This was so easy to grow. I ended up adding this to a grow already in progress, and because it was an auto, it didn't matter about the light cycle. She did beautifully and was so easy to train and grow.
I decided to dry trim this, for my first time trying that. I let it dry for a full 14 days while carefully keeping humidity between 40-60% and temp between 65-75. I think dry trimming is my preference now. The scissor hash was also excellent.
Good idea. Its possible to grow different growstages in one tent. You can use your empty airpot to dry them inside. Just something puton the top. Than they dry in darkness.
@happykat,and @ my AUTO NORTHERN LIGHTS, theres one 4 days old with an 7 week old plant. No problems, until you don't cut the older one some leaves. The little one needs more attention.
@happykat, Hi, yes, actually i have GELATO 41 FAST, with WATERMELON ZKITTLEZ, in my big 0,36 m² tent.
The Grower niudog got an report of 6 in 0,36 (crazy)
You have to time perfectly like last 6 weeks of flower you germinate another auto. If you harvest her, the next goes in flower, or in every 4 weeks if you have enough room in your tent.
Hey! Happy growing my friend! I hope you do well and get some good results! I will come by sometime to see your progress! Keep on growing!
If you ever visit my page please say hello!
