I am trying to be real easy on the nutes this grow. So no nutes this week Looking good so far. Anxious to see how many of these babies will be female. FYI, I numbered my plants based on the health of the seedling at sprouting. Hence the numbering on the closeup photos.

How do the Seedlings look at a 16/8 light ratio? I feel things are looking just right but wanted to get a second opinion. Thx!

They look fine. And since you are using a 5 gallon pot, forget about nutes, for at least a month if not more.

I definitely believe the seedling phase has ended and veg growth has began pretty steadily. Still no nutes and all seems very well (thanks for the recommendation @athos). No sign of sex yet so am anxious to see what comes about. All looks to be good and healthy. Not much other than moved my ballasts higher, moved plants around, lights on digital timer, and normal tidy/clean up.

Things are looking good and starting to take off. I have never topped before and will be trying with this here this week. I am excited to check out this method.

I am a couple days behind on my post...nonetheless everything is looking solid. One thing I am concerned with is the sex. I have not seen any sign of male/female and they are starting to get a little big for my space factoring in the flower growth. I have read it is stressful to force flower before identifying the sex...any advice?? I am trying to be patient...

This week was the last for veg stage. I switched over to HPS and gave them a solid period of darkness last night into today. All looks good still so far. Here comes the fun part...

The garden is now down to 4 females. 5 are male which I have removed and burned. I definitely see pre flowers on one but the other three I am pretty sure about. Leaves are looking good and all seems to be going well. I have not used any nutes yet so I will continue to hold off for now.

4 females looking good. I took 4 clones off #7. First time cloning so we will see what happens. Plants are stable. I started feeding them Fox Farm nutes.

I found a hermie plant that definitely released some pollen, maybe 1-2 sacs. What should I do? Keep em growing to get the seeds?? Hope for the best??? I feel this garden is a bust now...

You can do both ! Keep them or cut them but keep in mind that if you don't wanna cut them you'll have to monitor those polen sacs each days until harvest ! 👍

I would cull the hermied buds, specially if it is only 1 or 2 and then continue to grow the rest, while keeping an eye out for possible future hermies.

Bummer. This message is coming late in the game, but if you wish to limit pollen affecting the other plants, you should spray them with water. This kills the pollen dead and prevents pollen spreading elsewhere. I would do as Michka says, remove this plant from the others. Good luck.

Hermie pollen is sad news, and your harvest will likely be compromised. But it’s not a total bust. You’ll get some good weed, learned a bunch, and had some fun. I also had fun with your diary, so thanks. As soon as I heard your strain’s name possible hybrids came to mind Cross Milk & Cookies with Northern Lights = Santa Claus Milk & Cookies + NY Diesel = Martha Stewart M & C + Big Bud = Cookie Monster

@SEAKGROWER Hi there! Some of them are looking small to me, but it depends on the day number. If your pictures are from the end of week #2, they're small. If your pictures are from the beginning of week #2, that's fine! I think you can lower down your apex/light distance and increase your relative humidity. Happy growing! 👊

@Stick, thanks for the reply! The photos are at the beginning of the week. The photos would be Day 14 from transplanting. With that being said, do you think I should do the lowering of the lights?

Don't worry about stressing your plants in veg. Some advanced growers use root bound stress to trigger pre flowers in order to determine sex of plant early. You could do the same. I love the color of your leaves. Similar to mine. Must be an Exotic Genetic's cookie thingy. Your girls are looking solid in a Frankie Adams (the Expanse) kind of way. ;-) I am pulling up a chair.

@SEAKGROWER, Limit stress to veg stage, not the flower stage. When you are in flower stage you may produce hermies if plant is stressed.

@Mr_Positivo, So it would be alright to force flower with the photoperiod and not have any stress? I read something about it causing Hermies if you don’t have any preflowers showing...thanks man!

Nice looking leaves. You're doing really well. The quality of your harvest would benefit from topping next run. More branches= bigger bush= more yield. Cheers.

@seakgrower. I agree to our growdoctor. Its not too bad to have a male plant and maybe your girls are "pregnant". when i started to grow (looong looong time ago) it was quite normal to have pollinated girls. Because its easy not to see a male in a bunch of girls. and most time i was glad to have seeds. we grow our own Hybrid and they were very good and robust to our climate. The thc was not so high but ok.For me its just 6 years that i bought seeds for the first time and growing sensemillasfrom feminised seeds BUUUUT...... they are not so robust and fit to my climatezone as the others. I got to try to get some seeds of the "old PfälzerLandgras"
