6 June - This only my second grow. My plan is to grow these five seeds big enough so I can clone them and hopefully get up to 10-14 plants. So it might be a longe time before harvest. So the goel is to get a lot of smaller plants in stead of a few big ones. I'm using jiffy pellets to germinate the seeds in. I stored them in a seedling box from ikea, which have used to germinate seed in my kitchen setup. Since I'm planning to try and clone the plants to get more plants, I've tried to make a test clone of a basil plant, which can be seen on one of the photos. Don't be confused, my kitchen plants is a hydro grow. The Haze 1 will be grown in soil, so the rockwool cubes you see is for the kitchen.

12 June - It's been 8 days since I put the seeds in the jiffy pellets. So fare three out of five have popped up from the jiffy pellets. I can see the last two is on the way. Two of the small plants are reaching for the sky, in search of light I think. I have planted the three in small pots with some fresh earth and water. These will be given 16 hours of light from my Mars Hydro 300 watts LED. As soon as the other two have hatched they will be joining the rest in the tent.

18 June - These ladies seems to be growing just fine. Compared to my last grow, Auto Blueberry these are giants. Which raises my expectations to the end result. I started nutrients with 1 ml/l og part A and B, without any habituation periode.

24 June - They are still growing steady, but some of the lower leaves have started to turn yellow and a few have withered at the ends. I have raised the nutrients to 2 ml/l of part A one day before the schedule in respond to the leaves color. As this being my 2nd grow i have made a little experience and trimmed the top of red.

28 June - Its been very hot weather and as a result the room temperature has been quit high and the have been very thirsty. One was hanging and very sloppy. So I gave them bit splash of extra water. And in 10 minutes they where standing strong again. To counter the warm i've been keeping the grow tent open in the top, not much but just enough to get help the ventilation to suck more air in. 29 June - The withering of the biggest and lower leaves continues so i took one of them on a ride, down to my local growshop and ask what i was doing wrong. They recommended to increase the dose of part A to 5 ml/l on the next watering and then 4 ml/l as the manufacturers schedule suggest.

6 July: They have been growing very nice and responded well to the ekstra nutrients added on the 29 of June. They dont wither anymore and got a a healthier looking color over all. As stated in week 1 my plan for this grow is to have 12-16 with one-main-colas plants, in the my tent. In order to easily get 12-16 plants, cloning should be effective. This is the first time im trying to clone weed. After having seen some tutorials and read some guides, I feel some confident as it seems quite straight. Since the plants seem to thrive well and there are many small shots to take from, I have chosen to take cuttings now. The cuttings where dipped in ROOT!T gel quickly after they where removed from the stem and then placed in a prepared jiffy pellets. The jiffy pellets where placed in a sprouting box from Ikea, with some water in the bottom. 10 July: The four mother plants have recovered well after the cuttings where taken. The one marked with the blue stick have been trimmed in the topped. It was out growing all the others by 6-7cm. The clones look okay (or at least I hope so..) they are getting 2-3 sprays with a mister every day. The ligtning on the pictures are not showing there true color, they look more yellowish on the photos. No roots ends can be seen on the pellets, so i guess i can use the waiting time to setup a new tent to hold the mother plants. My plan: - Find a tent to hold the mother plants i veg state - Set it up with the Mars Hydro LED - Get a HID 400W Growth light bulb, to veg the clones when the have rooted, in the main tent. Before switching to the HID 400W Bloom. Can anyone tell my if it is possible to use the same ventilation for two tent ?

17 of July The plants wasn't stunned so much after the rough trimming, when i took the cuttings. The growth has been a bit slower, but i think that is what much be expected when taken so many cuttings at ones, while also trimming fan leaves. All in all, i stille think that they thrive well. The clones are still alive, at least from the looks. They are being sprayed daily with a douche. There are no roots coming out of the jiffy pellets yet, but i can see some roots tips on one of them.

24 of July These girls are growing like a weed (pun intended), I trimmed a lot of the tops, to keep them low last week, but they keep on growing and are becoming very bushy. So i trimmed them quite a bit again, and took sthe tops as well again, to keep them low. The clones now have many root tips coming out of the jiffys, so they hav been putted in pots, with 2ish CM of Euro Pebbles in the bottom and Plagron Light Mix soil on top. They will only be given 1 ml/l of Part A and C from Big Plant Science, the first week. I have changed the light to a 400 Watts MH 5600K Super Growth light bulb. Since it covers a bigger area then the LED. In two weeks time, when the clones have gained some firm roots and hopefully good health, I will flip the light to 12/12 and switch to a 400 Watts HPS 2000K Super Bloom light bulb. And move the mother plants to another tent. Im unsure if i should continue updating this dairy with the progress of the clones, or create a new dairy just for the clones. What do you, dear reader, think ? When i move the four motherplants during the next two weeks, im going to keep them separated so the mother are always in veg state.

I hav now transplanted my clones to 4 liters pots. My goal is to grow some fat and long main colas. So I can have them close together. How early can I flip them over to 12/12 and what else can I do to reach me goal?

If you wanna do one bud you can alreadu flip them , but I would recommend to wait 2 weeks after transplant before switching to 12/12 ! You'll have lolipops plant style ! But your strain is a Haze si that's mean she'll have a big stretch and she will get height even after the 2 weeks of stretch so 2 weeks after transplant seems pretty good to me !! Enjoy , the Haze is a very good/legendary strain 👍

2 of August The mother plants har growing very bushy. I am trying to keeping bonzei, so I can fit them in a smaller tent to feed me clones. The clones have been growing nice and steady. My plan is to flip them to flower as soon as possible. So I'm in need of tent for the mothers, the local head/growshop didn't have the size I need, when I dropped by. So they ordre one for me should be here with in a week. My fear of the clones growing to tall, comes from what I read about sativa strains. And Nirvana claims this should be an almost pure sativa. The main goal is still to grow one colas plants with one long fat bud.

6 of August I have decided that this diary will from now on mainly follow the clones. Since it seems people are more interested in the harvest and the outcome. Maybe I'll continue to update it with the next Bach of clones, only time will tell. The clones have stretched more then I hoped they would. Of course this is my own fault. I should have bought a tent for the mother plant, before I needed it. The tent I ordered last week haven't arrived yet. But I can't afford the clones to grow much taller, since I expect them to gain more alot of hight during flowering. So I start the 12/12 light today, I have switched the bulb to a HPS Super Bloom 400w. Starting today I'll begin to add Bud Explosion, from Big Plant Science, to the clones. The mother plants seems to thrive. I was afraid that the rough trimming and bomzaing might have been to hard. But they seem fine. The shop promised the tent for them will arrive with in a couple of days. So I have moved them to a sunny window for now.

Ones again im running late with updating the dairy.. For that im sorry, i make the notes while nursing and pulsling the plants, but lack the time to type them in here. Flipped the light to 12/12 three days before the pictures was taken. Starting to be a bit unsecure if i switched to 12/12 too late and as a resultet they will grow out of the tent. During the first week of the 12/12 light schedule the have really started to stretch. So i have add a plant/clone, which i have named Betty. Betty has been rooting in a jiffy pellet for 10 days, then transplanted into a pot and moved in the tent under 12/12 light. Because Betty is hardcore she don't need no veg 😉 I am doing this an experiment to see how big of a difference the 2 weeks of veg does. I started started using Bud Explosion the same day as I the change the light schedule. And started with 1 ml/l and gradually increased to 2 ml over a couple of days. After three days of 12/12 i trimmed all the lower leafs, I think it's called a lollipop trim or something like that. It should help the pants to grow one main colas in stead of spreading out. Until now I am amazed about how nice they are growing, so fareI have had little to no difficulties. The light in the pictures does not do justice to the plants. The have a nice deep green color and look very healthy.

Day 16 into flowering They slowed down in growing past upwards, which im very relieved about. Almost all buds are close to the stem, with the exception of af few minor outburst in the bottom. They have started to fatten up but are still small. Some fan leaves started to get quite big a took light from the bud sight so I trimmed/defoliate them again. The watering was starting to be a little difficult. It was hard to reach the pot with the watering can, so I made a drip system. It haven't been possible for me to adjust the valve to a slow enough drip, to be running constantly. Which would have been nice, so I could get a day or two out of town. I've stopped adding the Bud Explosion after the first week of flowering as the manufacturer recommends.

Day 26 of bloom I know it's two days early to report on week 4 of flowering. But I hope you'll pardon me. The mother plants are no more... I neglected them for too long. I thought about putting some effort into saving one of them. But I think that a strain with a shorter flowering period, might be better for the needs and goal of my setup. And since these should have about 6-10 weeks left before harvest, I think I'll be able to grow a couple of new mothers and get some clones ready to replace these as the are harvested. I'm a amazed about how well and easy they have been growing, hoping im not gonna jinx it by writing this. Maybe it's the nutrition from Big Plants Science, but these look way better then I hoped for.

Day 34 of bloom - 48 days since the rooted clones where transplanted to pots. They are still gaining some hight, but it almost slowed down now. The buds however is another story, they are really starting to stack up nicely. I have defoliated some of the tops, in ordre to get more light straight to the buds. I have had unexpected guests in the tent, I found out when I trim last. Has no idea if there is more than one in the picture, it was immediately the only one I could find and it seemed relatively big. If anybody knows which insects are, you must finally write a comment. I have given up on the watering-drip system. It's didn't work very well, in order for it to work it required almost constant checkups and adjustment otherwise it would flod some plants while starving others. Since the watering system didn't work as hoped, the plant had 1 day with put water during this week. 2 plants had some of the lower fane leaves starting to yellow after the day without water. But they seems to be okay. The humidity has been swing a lot lately, my sensors memory for max/min reads: Max: 64% min: 39%. So im going to look for something to help dehumidify. For a start im going for get some dehumidifier-bags at the lokale construction marked. Betty are still small, but she have taken on many small buds. I don't think i'll go straight to 12/12 from rooting with next batch of cloness. I seems like a single week, or maybe one and a half, pays out during flowring.

Day 42 of 12/12 They have not gained much in height, if any, since last week. But the buds have been working hard. They are starting to get very nice and fat, and are stacking bud on top of buds. More and more of the small hairs are darkening, in a tempo that im starting to doubt that they need 12-14 weeks of flowering that Seed banks says. This is the start of week 7, so if they need 5 more weeks i can only imagine they will be ready for harvest before then. I have not seen any more bugs or anything alike. So i guees the one from last week was a lone strider. Unfortunately i was out of town for 1½ day, where they didn't get any water. And when I returned the lower leaves was starting to yellow. So i have now raised the Part A to 5ml pr L.

Day 47 under 12/12 light I started this week out with two days with 5 ml/l part A, since some leaves where starting to yellow. It was mainly the tallest plants that suffered from this. Hence this was the 7th week of flowering im bit cautious about raising the dosis of nutrients. It is amazing how the buds just keep getting more and more fat. They are all sticky now only the stems are not sticky to the touch. Me former concern about the pistils/hairs turning dark or brown premature hasn't been a issue yet. It look like new ones are coming and the older ones are not turning as fast any more. I don't know what caused this change, the humidity has been lower this week. When looking at the trichomes under a magnifying glass, I can see there are plenty of them. I thought they where turning white, but when the light was right I can see that they are cloudy. All in all the ladies are looking quite good, if I may say so my self.

Day 54 under 12/12 light The past week have gone by without any real issues. Humidity in my area have been somewhat high this last week, and I don't have a dehumidifier. It might not look as much on the photo day 47 VS 54, but I can promise you that it is much more compact and fat this week. I'm starting to look at the trichomes through a x45 magnifier. I think it's hard to tell if the are clear, white or cloudy.. Sometimes I think it looks more like the spikes are white and the heads/bubbles at the end are clear. This is the 8th week of flowering and the strains info say 12-14 weeks, a couple of weeks ago I did not think it would last this long due to the past of darkening of the hairs, but now they just seem to get thrive and getting fat. I have harvested one of the lower buds, and started drying it and will give curing time for a week or so, just to get a mild preview of what is to come. During next week I'll chose 3-4 plants to test Atami Bloombastic, which I got some samples from at North Grow Cannabis Congress in Copenhagen. I was really impressed with what it did to my habenero chili plant. All new flowers in under a week, and now new chilies even though the plant was starting to settle down for autumn.

Day 67 under 12/12 light * I been checking the calendar and my day count have been wrong, with 3 days. So if you read this, and have read the previous week's you can add 3 days to the day stated in every week, from week 3 of flowering. I'll make sure to get the count correct from this week forward. Now when that is out in the open... Let's focus on the ladies! The plants are still getting more fat and sticky as I right this update. The biggest change from last update is how sticky they are to the touch. That might not be showing in the pictures but believe my they are. The same goes for the smell, which are really starting to catch up. It's quite hard to explain, it's like no other weed I grown or smelled. Of course it smells like weed but there is something different that I can't put in words. But I'll get back to the smell later. I have noticed that the ones in the middle was getting more glittering then the ones standing outwards the tents side. So I moved one of the air fans to get better air-circulation around the plants in the sides of the tent. The humidity has been high again this week, lowest at 43% and highest 79%. But most of the time it 48~52% Regarding the nutritions I have chosen 4 plants, whom I have been giving 1 ml/l Bloombastic from Atami, since day 59. This might not be are fair or even test of the product since it is so late in the grow. But now after 8 days, I'm not sure I can see any difference in growth, but I sure can smell the difference. The ones whom been given bloombastic smells much more then the others. A bit diesel kind of smell, not an unpleasant smell. The Big Plants Science series should be organic. I don't think Atami's bloombastic is and that might be the reason I don't know. I'll get back on this when I have smoked some of each. I'm planning to keep on feeding them nutritions until, and with, day 71 (Monday 15 of October. After that I'm going to flush them and give them 14 days +/- of watering with only clean water. If I thought that the trichomes where cloudy before I'm not in doubt anymore. Still I see some that are more glass then white. The photos might not be the best, but if you have an opinion on the subject please let me know in the comments.

Flushing.. Im thinking about starting to flush, as described in week 19 dairy update but Im fearing that it might be to early or late or if I really need to flush two weeks. My pots are only 3,5-4 liters and nutrients is organic. So how do I know when and how long to flush?

Hi @Broedt! Take a daily close look at the trichomes, they will tell you when to start to flush. Once you see the first milky trichomes you can trigger the flush phase, trichomes will take several days to turn 100% milky, usually between 8 and 12 days, this will be your flush duration. Watch the color of the runoff, it should get more clean & clear each time you flush. Try to decrease your relative humidity for this last week, this will encourage resin production and will prevent from mold/bud-rot issues. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and enjoy your harvest 👊

Day 70 of flowering It has only been three days since my last update.. But hence the confusion of days past, I'll update it now again since this is day 70 and that markes week 10. The girls are looking very nice, if I may say so myself. The smell has intensified very much during the last days, yesterday when I opened the tent it really hit me hard in Tha nostrils in a good way. That smell that I couldn't set in words are still present but it smells lovely! I'm not at all sure how fast the trichomes are developing, so I'm checking up on them every day. This leads to alot of uncertainty of when I should start to flush. Some leaves have been yellowing for a while, at a slow pace and I fear that I might start the flush to early or late. But I'm thinking around day 71-75 will be the last day with nutritions. I have uploaded a picture of the trichomes, please let me know what you think?

Day 78 of flowering Stopped adding nutritions to the water after day 71. The plants started to get a bit shady after that, by shady I mean that they been hanging and slowly turning yellow, and getting some spots on the leaves. I almost had an heart attack when i saw that one plant had during 30ish hours turned brown and dried all out - See the pictures. I couldn't see any mold or any thing, so i chopped the top of the plant off. None of the others had anything like this.. The buds are getting so fat that the plants are starting to have a hard time holding the weight pf the buds. Im planing on harvesting during the next week.
