As a complete fan of dank kushy taste, this strain stands out for me! In search for legit breeders, I came across Humboldt Seeds Co. about 2 years ago. This IS NOT HSO there is 2 breeders with very similar names!!! This strain is hard to get has it is often sellout on major seedbanks like The Vault or True North. Nevermind cause sativaman go to the extremes traveling my country to put my hands on THESE GOVERNMENT SOLD seeds!!! yes sold by the federal government = GOD BLESS CANADA!!! See the duty paid stamps and the Health Canada warning!! (Wondering how they make it cross the border because it is illegal federally in the US....) It's on for an other round, should be flipping lights in early November to take advantage of bad weather to exhaust straight outside without having to worry for the neighbours. I hope they will stink.

Plants have been moved in a grow cabinet built in my bedroom closet. Light used is a 240w dimmed QB. This room is also used for my flowering tent so I have to balance environment conditions for both mid-late flowering plants and seedlings, witch is far from ideal. Guess what: I am focusing on the flowering plant!! So this is not the best start ever I know what is wrong temp is too low and RH is way too low as well. I am hanging some wet towels in the cabinet to raise humidity but with limited effects. Also I've set a small fan to keep them low and strengthen the stems. All plants looks happy and are pushing their 3rd set of leaves. Seedlings have some difference between each other so I am starting to label pheno from 1 to 3.

These ones have nice and strong branching out so they all got topped 3 days ago. Plant 1 & 2 are a little too bushy and 3rd one is just a tad better tanks to involuntary lst on the main stems caused by the airflow. To fix this the small fan got removed for a few days to allow stems to grow. Also seeing signs of light stress, lamp got dimmed and plant received some calmag.

Transplant week. Plant 2 and 3 are now in their final home in 15 gal while plant 1 was put in a 2 gal container due to lack of space. Soil have been amended with some Gaia Green power bloom, epsom salts, also used some potassium sulphate and organic nutrients solution to moisten soil. Those look like heavy feeders and shows signs of K and Mag def since a few weeks. Plant 1 is very columnar, and, for a rare time, sativaman is doing LST on her.

Smell is there my friends! These little vegetating plants have some pungent skunky gazzy smell 😁😁😁😁😁 = yes! I am very happy!!! One thing special with these is almost all fan leaves are 5 fingers, only a few are 6 or 7 blades on all plants. I think I have 3 different pheno. No LST was done on plant 2 & 3 and they show perfect structure by themselves! Only one topping and some wind. Probably last week before flip, but these should not stretch a lot so maybe 2 more weeks.

Tent have been remodelled as new vege room. Still unsure if I should flip now. My buddy @klimfish who also grows this strain had very little stretch. I want decent size plant!! 😋💪😋 !!!Time is passing by and these little stinkies are growing at different paste... I rank my plants on what I believe are the most promising phenotypes. In this grow I think plant 3 would be the closest to the breeders picture with a wide structure, and strong side branching with a naturally even canopy. On the other hand, plant 1 is the one with the most intense skunky smell but the smallest of all with tiny stems and slim stalk. Will she be my Lover?? 😍This is getting interesting... Plant 1 got transplanted yesterday, same soil recipe, ssw stepwell supersoil recycled (5th cycle) amended with 30 tb spoon of gaia green powerbloom, some K sulphate, a few handfuls of epsom salts, and soil was conditioned with promix flower boost organic nutrient solution for minerals supply (manganese, molybdenum, iron, calcium) ...The goal is to give tap water only, and keep it simple and easy =).

Light cycle have been swapped to 12-12 last week. They are just about to show firsts pre flowers =) Stretch is limited so far but we know the action is about to show in the next 2-3 weeks. It is dry, very dry here. I feel like the smell was better with higher humidity in the last weeks. Plant 1 stays short, hope she can still grow some chunky buds. If it was my only plant from this strain I would be pissed! But thankfully plant 2 and 3 are beefing up nicely.

All 3 plants started to bloom just a few days ago! Light was swap with 600w hps hortilux. (sorry for hps pics! ) Plant 1 is staying short with very few bud spots, witch are some of the smallest I have ever seen! Stems are thick like a toothpick, leaves are small like on a bonsai, and I don't see how I would yield more than a few gram out of her. She does not look like an 8 week of vegetation plant. At this point I am not sure if I will keep her till the end. Calling this a bad phenotype. Plant 2 is somehow similar to plant 1 but with a little thicker stems, stronger branching .. gotta say she does not have the energy and vigour I am used to. Calling this bad genetic?? Let's wait a bit more... Plant 3 is the most promising pheno. She is stronger bigger and wider with decent bud spots for an 8 weeks old. She is also turning purple as you can see on last pics. Purple sure makes a good impression but bottom line is the smell, taste end effects that matter the most right??

I've been able to raise humidity a bit this week with a humidifier. Smell is good on all of them. There is nothing like a bare bone hps bulb. I Love this strong light and plants are praying with their leaves! Everyone is happy! Plant 1 did grow a little more than expected. She have a few *good* tops. Plant 2 is definitely the same pheno, just with more vigour. Plant 3 is huge😁. And I think she is not turning purple like what I've seen before. I think she is turning BLACK!! She is having all my attention. Doing my best to drop the temp a few more degree at night.

I am not impressed with plant 1 and 2, this phenotype have little to no smell so far. But this is only week 3. Let's give them some time.... On the other hand, plant is 3 my Queen!! The pine sol smell is taking over aggressively 😋😁 !!! She has huge fan leaves of dark olive green colour, and as she grows I am pretty sure she will finishes with nice deep purple buds. At this point, I am gonna save some room for a potential re-veg.

Oh, what a week. The massive storms that crossed the US last Friday was heading toward us. It was huge. I live just by the airport, and hurricane wind were reported. The funny part is the DIY exhaust I am using. I've built it out of what I had a few years ago to exhaust straight outside: it's 1/4 inch Sheetrock to replace a full window👋👏👍...??!!.😳 Yep.... (For those who don't know more than me about building, 1/4 Sheetrock is not any way strong enough to replace a full size window under hurricane wind.) The wind came strong suddenly. The noise of wind is pretty scary for a city guy. When I realised my setup would not stand a chance I had to re-enforced it with other stuff I had on hands... The middle section is what I added. Usually, the Sheetrock was only holding by the corners. I was pretty nervous. Setup was pretty ridiculous. I could only find a few small nails to try to make it hold. Garage were blown away, centennial tress broken, the skating ring at the park is ruined... But the window made it!! I could not believe it as this window is full West exposure and same as the wind. We had about 30 hrs power outage. Temps went down to 10C. ***************************** Plants made it😛! A little upgrade was done in the tent: Plant 1 was raise about 16 inches of the ground. She was standing in the shadiest corner. Raising her allow more light to hit more bud surface. One more thing it does it curiously provide more light to nearby plants, reducing shadow from her leaves and better reflection thanks to the off-white colour, of the container. So plant 1: staying short, very bushy, small leaves, smell is pine, tigerbound, and hearty. Not a lot of resin so far. Plant 2: similar to plant 1 for bud structure, leaves, smell, but she is wider. Nice 4 colas are on the way !! Plant 3: the keeper phenotype, starting to fatten up, showing purple on leaves and calyxes, strong Pine Sol smell, nice resin production. Some pistils on specific buds turned amber and recessed: I am hopping for an unknown pollination. I think I still have some Congo pollen from previous run in my fans: I found 3 seeds in last Bublawi harvest so far....

It's been a long time I grew some stinky plants like that. They wreck the whole block: I can smell the draught 2 houses away =) Three different pheno sharing a blend characteristic with different combinations. Plant 1 and 3 are turing purple, 2 is definitely full green. But 2 and 3 have similar green olive leaves. Smell also vary from plant to plant all having in common gaz, lemon, earth and coffee at various levels. Plant 2 is the show stopper. Don't get fooled by the pics with the flash: the buds are really off-white grey with purple hues (had to tripled check for bud rot), coming from under sides of leaves, and from trichomes and a few calyxes. Smell is dank and resin production is out of this world like we Love. What I don't like with her is her structure: despite proper pruning and technique, she is not growing colas. Instead she express a bigger top flower, with a LOT of satellite golf ball size nugs that grows under it. Looks like an Open bar for botrytis. Not the kind of end I am dreaming of... Luckily, Rh stays under 40 at night and 20% daytime.

While at first look this grow seemed dialled in, a few problems came to my attention this week. First of, plant 3 the prettiest! stinkiest! my favourite!!, was found producing BALLS AND BANANAS.. What a bummer, especially at week 5 and bellow the canopy: this is a catastrophe!!!!!! And let me tell you that as she is turning purple and blooming, hunting male flowers under hps depends more on luck than anything else... So luckily *it seems* that only one branch was affected... I tried to dry it but this is not smokable she taste like fresh grass. So I am keeping a real close eye on her, but I am definitely letting her go!! Plant 2 started to show some P and Mag def. This should not be happening so it had me investigating. Found out pH of water was 8.8. This is too high!! Gotta pH my water for now on. Also soil temps are way too low. At the end of day under lights, temps are on the 16C, probably dropping during night. Nothing much I can do since I don't have anymore Amps and Watts available for a heater. Keeping my finger cross they will be OK. Plant 1 is turning black. Smell is settling: all of them have a rich PineSol, hearty, lemony dank smell. At least 3 weeks for everyone.

Very happy how things are going with them. All Gaz OG is packed with anthocyanin and dank kushy smell. Harvest should be generous. Plant 1 continues to turn black as she matures. Smell is on the liquorice and lemon notes. Plant 2 is showing some beautiful flowers looking like grapes of roses. Purple hues are becoming more visible on a few calyxes. Smell is more hearty. Plant 3 is a beauty queen. Smell is so dank with hearty and swamp notes to the overall pungent kushy smell.

Plant 1, The Black pheno. She was the runt plant. Despite faster start, she stayed shorter. She grew very compact as an indica, and flowered generously. Small leaves and long petiole, very columnar. At chop day, her leaves had mostly turned black and dark red. Overall smell on her is the weakest. Still, some great pine and kush perfume that caries in the taste. Smoke is all indica, but not over powering. Couch lock effects, relaxing turning sedative with increased appetite. Plant 2, The Silverish pheno. This one started very similar to the first pheno. Small leaves with long petiole. However she respond way better to training and topping, developing a wider structure with bigger branches and more canopy, larger colas. Resin production was at it's best, with very dense buds. She finished with black and green leaves, purple hues on the calyxes and a sylverish layer of trichomes that dominates other colours. The way she swelled up and overall structure of the buds makes it very different from the other phenotypes. She was just chopped today, did not sampled her yet. Plant 3, The Purple pheno. Wow. Seriously sexy fully purple plant. Smell is off the hook. She started slower but did not took long to be the largest. Large leaves with narrower fingers, regular petiole. Out of the lot, she carries the most Sativa and it shows in it's buds as well, with looser, leafy structure. Trimming was longer, but I kept more leaves than I would usually, because they were covered with purple trichomes and packed with pine smell. At chop day, some trichomes head were dammaged. It was hard to read the progression from clear to amber, as they were purple. Smell was pine. earth, kush and swamp. Tale sign she was ready was the stem turning light green. She smokes smoothly with hybrid sativa effects. Not heavy like a Malawi. Effects are uplifting, and also calming, with great appetite stimulation. What I am saying is, this is not the most exotic racy effects, but the beauty of her buds, the colour, the smell, the taste, really makes her special.
