What a ride it was!!! Humboldt Seeds Company brings us some dank genetic with this impressive strain. Packed with anthocyanin, loaded with heavy terpenes, every phenotypes revealed in this grow have some huge potential, with that gaz smell we all Love, and some awesome bag appeal. This strains live up it's name and the breeder's description. Growers, get your carbon filter ready! The level of smell becomes hard to impossible to cover, if you are doing a complete stealth grow. This adds up to the level of difficulty. Also, this colourful strain is harder to follow it's progression, nutrients needs, and to determined when she is ready. Pushing the night and soil temperature on the lower sure brought some awesome colours. Delaying harvest also brought extra frost, and denser buds. But 2 out of 3 pushed a few bananas at the end of their flowering, and the 3rd one grew a branch with some male flowers. Very manageable, but it shows some weakness.

Plant 1, The Black pheno. She was the runt plant. Despite faster start, she stayed shorter. She grew very compact as an indica, and flowered generously. Small leaves and long petiole, very columnar. At chop day, her leaves had mostly turned black and dark red. Overall smell on her is the weakest. Still, some great pine and kush perfume that caries in the taste. Smoke is all indica, but not over powering. Couch lock effects, relaxing turning sedative with increased appetite. Plant 2, The Silverish pheno. This one started very similar to the first pheno. Small leaves with long petiole. However she respond way better to training and topping, developing a wider structure with bigger branches and more canopy, larger colas. Resin production was at it's best, with very dense buds. She finished with black and green leaves, purple hues on the calyxes and a sylverish layer of trichomes that dominates other colours. The way she swelled up and overall structure of the buds makes it very different from the other phenotypes. She was just chopped today, did not sampled her yet. Plant 3, The Purple pheno. Wow. Seriously sexy fully purple plant. Smell is off the hook. She started slower but did not took long to be the largest. Large leaves with narrower fingers, regular petiole. Out of the lot, she carries the most Sativa and it shows in it's buds as well, with looser, leafy structure. Trimming was longer, but I kept more leaves than I would usually, because they were covered with purple trichomes and packed with pine smell. At chop day, some trichomes head were dammaged. It was hard to read the progression from clear to amber, as they were purple. Smell was pine. earth, kush and swamp. Tale sign she was ready was the stem turning light green. She smokes smoothly with hybrid sativa effects. Not heavy like a Malawi. Effects are uplifting, and also calming, with great appetite stimulation. What I am saying is, this is not the most exotic racy effects, but the beauty of her buds, the colour, the smell, the taste, really makes her special.

@1Right_Angle, Thank you my friend. These seeds were bought in the People's Republic of Ontario =) I've made a special trip last summer as they were available from some dispensaries in Ottawa. I have one seed left. I will send it to you. I am growing a 4th one at the moment and she is very stinky, and showing some purple colours.

Thanks for checking it out! You are always of great help and I appreciate your work!! I've red again the Terms and conditions of GD. Just to be sure I am going to Edit my post, and keep it simple. There is 2 Humboldt seeds retailer: Humboldt Seeds Organization and Humboldt Seed Co. Here it's the 2nd one.

Hurrican blowing outside and the gardener still worry about his plant 😍😍😍 Scarry to hear about the damage. Happy to know that you guys are okay enough to be worrying about plants. Actually pressure drops with strong wind. Middle re-inforcement is the way. Excellent thinking in time of crisis.

Hi @sativaman, my "bad" weather is normal seasonal part of living in the tropic. Wiser heads would grow in-season. Hurricane is something else. We live in the land with hardly any natural disaster. It is warm and food is available all year. Our hotest and coldest temperature differ only by around 10 degree C. Light hours varies only from 13 hours in June and 11 hours in December. Our season is differientiate by torrential rain, light rain, and dry.

@Med_in_Tropic, Thanks Med. You had more than your share of bad weather! The wind was something we've never seen before here.. And it's far from over with climate and storms over the next decades.

@AsNoriu, What a gorgeous couple of plants they where!! thanks=) When I start a run as plants grow, I rank them as what I believe are the most promising pheno. Here, I was totally wrong, plant 3 finishing the strongest. However I will always put the best plant to close the diary!
