Purple Lemonade by DW

DougWilson September 26, 2021 New FastBuds strain to add to my diaries is the fantastic Purple Lemonade Auto. It will be a soil grow. I’ll start with 0.6L plastic cup (better to use a peat pot), and than transplant it to 12.5L air-pot with a 5 cm layer of expanded clay at the bottom. I use Biobizz Light Mix for the germination and then the Green View "Canaplus" for the rest of the grow. For what concerns germination there is not that much to say, I planted the seed directly into the soil. I wanted to try "Xtreme Gardening Mykos" but I don't know for sure if it's worth it. Feel free to give any tips! The sore point remain the lamp... Hope to change it as soon as possible. Cheers from the Mellow Fellow 🍏

DougWilson Recap from last week: sprout, transplant in her final 12.5L air-pot full of "Green View Canaplus" soil and expanded clay at the bottom. This week is starting on October 1, 2021, with the first nutrients intake, given at 1.5ml/L. I’m using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A+B formula and adding Root Juice by Biobizz. I’m gonna give 0.5L every two days, watering only around the seedling. Next week I think I’ll increase the water amount, as well as nutrients dosage. Any advice about a valid nutrient that I can add to my pantry? Day 12 update: I believe she's ok, to be honest I thought she would become taller but as I said I'm hopeful. Day 14 update: Ok, end of the week and everything is good. A slow growth for a "sacrificed" plant. Unfortunately, as I said from the beginning, the lamp is weak and I decided to focus on my Trainwreck. This inevitably leads to making a choice where to point the lamp. DougWilson Week three! Unfortunately, I missed days 15, 16 and 17. The big news is that in the days that I've been far from home, she has grown significantly. But as for the rest, I can't say too much. I added 2ml of "Alg-A-Mic" by Biobizz. It's the first time that I use this product so let's see if it worth it. Day 21 update: End of the third week and she looks nice. Even if the light is not pointed at her, it seems that everything runs smoothly.

DougWilson Week 4!! She's awesome!!! As you can see from last update (day 21) to day 25, she's higher every minute. I guess I never thought she would grow like that. Anyway, I increased nutrients for the last week of vegetation. Unfortunately, my cam is not good enough to catch that she's in pre-flower stage. Day 27 update: I'm trying an hybrid technique between LST and ScrOG. I should say an improper screen of green because I didn't topped her. Cheers from the Mellow Fellow 🍏

DougWilson Week 5! I can't ask anything better than this. I had a problem with my trainwreck, because of a lack of water, but that girl is absolute amazing. She didn't give me any problem in the last four weeks. Can't wait to see some good flowers! Cheers from the Mellow Fellow 🍏

DougWilson Week 6! Day 42 update: My updates are not so frequent, I know... Anyway, I swear that this strain is amazing, very strong, no problem with water, nuts and all this stuff. Unlike the Trainwreck, Purple lemonade has grown far more than I expected. I have to clarify that this little baby was more a whim and I didn't put in the effort that she deserved. Now, as you can see from the chart I added "Big Bud" and "Bud Candy" by Advanced Nutrients so let's see what happens. Day 47 update: she's getting fat! The colors are amazing, I never seen anything like this. Cheers from the Mellow Fellow 🍏

DougWilson Week 7! Day 52 update: there is a burned leaf because of the light but for the rest is everything ok.

DougWilson Week 8! Day 59 update: Everything is going fine. For what concern nutrients, I think is enough so from tomorrow I will give her only water. Two weeks will be fine, but as I said for the other baby, I will check trichomes. Pistils are 50% orange/brown and 50% white so I need to wait a little bit more. Cheers from the Mellow Fellow 🍏

DougWilson Week 9! Day 64 update: I think that ten days will be sufficient to finish the job. Now I can say that she's one of the best strains for what concern strength and aesthetic. The real meaning of "automatic", super easy and super suggested for a beginner as I am. Cheers from the Mellow Fellow 🍏
