End of week 3 and started to stretch the plant out more this week. This plant is growing big and fast compared to the others I am growing on the same nute cycle. Going to veg another 2 weeks maybe 3.
She is the crown jewel of all my current grows. She grows fast, strong and big without pushing the boundaries on the nutes. Ive done a lot of LST and will continue too well into bloom. I am very tempted to switch her to an organic nute cycle currently but I think I'll wait and grow it again so I can compare. I have never been a fan of taking clones but I think I just might this time.
Still looking gorgeous and responding well to the super soil, stretching a little to fast but nothing I can do about this. Shes starting to get a lil stinky and I'm excited 😃
So I finally caved and switched her to an organic diet at the beginning of the week. She was growing too great and I didn't think salts would do her terp profile justice. May sacrifice overall yeild but I rather 2-3oz of quality smokes than 4+oz of this could've definitely been better. Switched to a different neem seed oil, this one was concentrated and took care of the spider mites in ONE round of spraying.
Haven't had any cons in growing this plant outside of spider mites which wasn't caused by the plant. Did some heavy defoliating and let's see how she goes in the last half of things
She started to show some signs of burning along with my other plants on the organic regiment (Sleepy Joe, Red Hot Cookies). I have a total of 7 plants organic but only 3 showed burn. The burn didn't show up until yesterday or today, either way I gave them 1.5L of water and trimmed the affected fan leaves. I'm growing in a coco mix with a whole lot of Perlite so it shouldn't take long to flush the medium. She is EXTREMELY frosty definitely wasn't expecting it to be snow covered like this.
Was away on vacation so I didn't get much time to care for any of my plants. She's super fragrant which was my goal for this particular run of plant to highlight the aroma and flavor of the buds. The buds a frosty white which doesn't show up in the pics but it looks snow covered. The buds are getting heavy and some of the tops are slumped over, I'll stake it tomorrow way to tired to be bothered. Not too happy with the size of the buds but I'll take quality over quantity any day of the week just wished the buds were more dense but so be it. She's approaching week 7 on Saturday and I don't anticipate the buds getting any bigger past this week so we shall see. Not very happy with this particular run in regards to bud size and density.
So she's starting to fall over as the buds are getting heavier. I staked it but because of the stretch I can't exactly get the plant to be upright, This is the point of the grow where I say fuck this shit and let the plant do what it wants to do because I'm ready to smoke. In one of the pictures you can see she is snow covered all over but the trichromes aren't fully ready yet. This plant is on organic nutes so I'll discontinue feeding in another week or so and only give it Ph water.
The plant is so sticky and oily the buds feel wet I kid you not. I became worried about mildew or rot and had to double check my humidity. Thats not the flash in the picture the buds are WHITE, the buds have gained weight in the last week as the entire plant is fallen over on itself. I didn't prepare for this because I took these runs extremely cautious focusing on terps, flavor and THC nothing much yeild and these plants got heavy nonetheless. I anticipate she will be chopped on or around Christmas and I'll back off the nutes soon and feed Ph water. The finish line is near thank god.
At this point she was begging to be euthanized lol and i wanted to also end it for myself before I had to get the big stakes and stand the entire plant up individually. The night and day temp fluctuations caused the nasty stretching and I did not use a heater this go around trying to get my other plants to get nice and purple. This plant is so oily I know it will mess up my clippers
Had a low harvest due to my arrogance thinking I had enough lightning to not remove lower bud sites, should've stuck to the fundamentals but what's done is done. The buds a FROSTY and STICKY which was the goal of this run so oils and trichrome production definitely went up. Buds weren't too dense but I was very comfortable with the outcome. There were some plants spider mites aren't as attracted to, unfortunately they loved this one.
Got 2.5oz on the scale, fucked myself out of an additional ounce by not removing the lower sites. Didn't fully clean the bud in the picture but when smoked it it my ass to bed in a HURRY. The body buzz just wraped my entire body for 24% THC it hits like a UFC fighter, its definitely something I'm going to make sure stays in the house moving forward.
@ManicMiner, so to answer honestly I have no idea what the EC or PPM is and that's because I don't water to run off to ever find out. My NPK right now is 10-3-4 for the plants that are getting synthetic nutes. I also make my own super soil another reason why watering to runoff is not best for me BC I'll be flushing the amendment out.
@JamMAKEcan, awwww man fuck home inspections lmao. After my next run I'm going to SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the number I run. I ran I believe 25 plants at one point sometime this year just trying to run my seeds but they were autos. In January I'm doing another 15 photos then I'm doing 2-3 plants outdoor in a huge raised bed in may after that I'll keep it t about 5 indoors and only replenish what I want.
@Kloud9gardenz,...i have 2..3x3x6 tents.. But i cant run all year.. House get inspected once a year.. Plus where im at i still have to run under radar...
@JamMAKEcan, you have no idea how bad I wanna smoke this shit. I first had banana kush from the middle eastern kid at my corner store and that shit smoked my boots lol. Haven't had it since and I'm praying it goes into overdrive and finishes next week so I can light it for new years
