They are starting to grow fast. Side branch are popping! I transplanted them into 20L pot at the end of week 4. The smell of the root is so good! I don't want to stress them too much so I will wait a couple of day before topping them.

End of week 6! the time past so fast! They start growing very bushy since I topped them. A lot of new side branch are growing. I am planning on doing some LST to control the height and to have more top buds. Their is some burn on some leaves.. I think this is because of the neem oil I spayed on them a week ago :/.

End of week 10! I did gice them a nice trim in the start of the week and keep pushing them under the net. This was the last week of vegetation! I juste turned them for a nice flowering time! They have already a little smell when I trimmed them but nothing too crazy. I am planning on using GHE for the flowering too but I think I will add a little bit of molasses.

1st week in flower! They really pushed through the net! They have too much leaves the light cant go to the bottom so I am going to make a big trim and get ride of the little bud. They are starting to smell I like it! I heard I can give them some molasse to help the flowering. I think I will try on some of them but not all to see the differences

They are starting to smell very nice! They have finaly finish to stretch. The bud are starting to fat and I can already see the sugar on the buds and the leaves. I think this is the time I introduce some molasses! I will try on 2/3 to see the difference. The net is really helping to support the branch, I hope they grow big buds ! It is very humid here so I juste bought dehumidifier.. Hope this will help! I dont want to get budrot.

The bud are getting bigger and I like it! The smell is nice. Now I am 100% sure they have finish stretching and only concentring on the bud! I can already see some sugar on the buds and the leaves ! I water them 1 or 2 time per week and they drink around 1 gallon each. The net really help to support the buds. Maybe more LST during veg time would help next time because some branch are small but they support the buds.

All is going good. The bud are fatting!. They are very frosty. I have start to give some molasse to 1 of the plant and I want to see if the buds get bigger or if it does nothing. The humidity is king of high for flowering.. I try to lower it but the temperature here does not help.

The leaves at the bottom are falling and the other are starting to yellow. Next week is the last week with nutriment after that I will flush them.

We are almost there! The buds are covered in trichrome! The fan leave are turning yellow and falling off! the smell is pretty strong. In the last week, I did not have to give them a lot of care. I did let them grow and I think the result is pretty nice for a first time. This was the last week that I gave them nutriments. NOw its time for the flush.

This was the last week of flowering! It all ended up 2018-10-13! For this last week, I did not give them any nutriment. I flushed all of the nutriment with only water exept for 1 plant witch I added a little bit of molasse. The buds are full of trichrome! I think it was not too bad for a first run. I did some mistake but I think I will learn from it. Going for the harvest now!

I did it! I am very proud of my first grow. I was not expecting very much but what I get I am satisfied. I find that it was very fun to grow my own weed and I think I will learn from futur grow and like it even more! Now let's talk more about this grow. 1- The germination was nice but next time I will use a heating mat that I buy. I think I can improve the seedling part with it. 2- First week of veg was going very fast for me but I definitly love how topping work but I think I did it too late. Next time I will do it earlier. The transplantation was kind of late too. NExt time I want to try it earlier. 3- During veg it was nice and easy but I think I can do more trimming and LST to help growing big branch. The net was defenitly one of the best thing that helped me. I loved how the plant fill it and push it. 4- I may have waited too long for veg time for the space I had... they kind of explose during the first few weeks of flower. 5- Flowering time, I think I could have trimmed more little buds but not very much. I tryed to use molasses to get bigger and stickier buds but It did nothing more then a nice flavor.. Maybe I used it too late. 6- I have hang them and let it dry for about 5 days. after that I have cure them for around 1-2 week. In resume I am proud of this grow and hope I will learn more and become better! Thank for all of you who helped me and supported me!

@Twisted_Forest, My seeds were seized by customs because of the agricultural issue the paperwork said. I received my package, but it had been opened, and the seeds replaced with a form telling me what happened. I sent you a DM about a few places in Canada and the U.S. that sells seeds. They don't have the deals that you get from Seedsman, but they are closer to home and might not be as risky. I haven't ordered from them though.

@Quexos, ouch yea that make it very expensive. I tough seeds were legal since they don’t have THC 😨

Twisted_Forest

@Fun_Growin, thx I will compare the root befor transplanting! For the heat of the light, I don’t know.. the seller of the light said 4 inch from canopy is good and their is 0 heat with good ventillation. I will go take a lot at the bideo on youtube but I don’t think plant take heat like a windshield. Even if they do, when you have good ventillation in your car during a hot day you windshield is not very hot. I will go check your video and learn from it! Thx :)

@Twisted_Forest, Check out week 6 of this grow. growdiaries.com/diaries/4200-led-mixed-fruit-soil/week/21911 Specifically the picture of the roots when I took them out of the solo cups... If you have less roots than this it's not time to transplant.. Also, about your thoughts on putting the light closer because it generates no heat (you ment low heat) ...... Think about your car in the sun on a 75 degree day... the air is 75 outside the car, the air is 85-90 inside the car, the windshield is 130 degrees... Think of your plant as the windshield, and the inside as the internal temp of the plant... All light is heat, it is a wavelength traveling through space that transfers its energy on whatever it inpacks... Just think about it... I would recommend checking out the "grow boss" on YouTube He is kinda "a dick" but his info on how to use and think about light is SPOT ON, and is great for improving your grows. Also watch is 3 light rotation video and truth about nutrients video... Lots of growers here learned from him
Twisted_Forest
Twisted_Forestcommented7 years ago
@Fun_Growin, It’s 2 foot X 4 foot long. So 4 bulbs 4 foot long. Since it generate no heat I thought I could put it closer. Thx for the info I will wait before topping them. I think they are ready for transplant or very close, the roots are starting to go out of the holes in the bottom.

Buds look great! Flush for 2 weeks? That'll give them more time to fatten up. Are you going to use any molasses, or other finisher?
Quexos
Quexoscommented6 years ago
@Twisted_Forest, I don't think you could harm the plants with molasses. I know its purpose, but I'm not sure on quantity and frequency. I was watching some videos about Nectar of the Gods and I'm going to use Aphrodite's Extraction along with Herculean Harvest. He compared their product with molasses and I like what he said. I'm also using the product line already so it compliments the line.

It looks like you made it through the stretch just fine! You aren't even at 3 ft. tall yet. If course that doesn't include your buckets. (Great idea on the kid's swimming pool). Your netting will work perfect. It looks like its set up right at the base of your bud stalks. Good support, and easily spreads out the bud sites. ...And now we wait.

Nice growth! They seem to be liking everything about their new environment. Are you going to flip them to 12/12 soon? Remember, they will probably double in height when you do. Some preemptive LST might be in order.

@Quexos, yea I am planning to use a net to help control the grow! The tent I am going to use to flower is a 5’ x 5’ and 8’ tall
Quexos

I would be doing LST until the stretch is over. Maybe take a break when you flip so they aren't stressed. I'd be worried that they might grow out of your tent! How tall is your grow space BTW?

@Quexos, thx! Yea I already love this strain! Next I am planning on turning my trainwreck and white widow on flower in about 1 week and try to breed them! Looks really nice! I read a lot of people use molasses. I haven't done anything with it, but based on the journals I've read, its a cheap way to increase bud size and aroma. A lot of the nutes on the market do the same thing, but they are a lot more expensive.
Twisted_Forest
Twisted_Forestcommented7 years ago
@Quexos, great idea!! Thanks I will try it! Should be much easier
Quexos
Quexoscommented7 years ago
@Twisted_Forest, Warm the water first. It will help dissolve the sugars. You can cool it back down once you have a solution. Homebrewers use honey and liquid malt when they make beer. It is a pain to dissolve, so you heat up the water and it works great.
Twisted_Forest
Twisted_Forestcommented7 years ago
@Quexos, yea I read of lot of thing about it too! That why I am testing on some plants to see the difference. I hope it’s does something because it’s not nice to mix in water.. take lot of time 😝

Twisted_Forest

@Quexos, I think the LST saved me 😝 If they stretch anymore I think I will need something to support the buds.. since the height is the same for the last 3 days. I assumed/hope the stretch is over..😂

Nice looking week of growth! I think its a good idea to wait until they've recovered from transplanting. It won't take more than a few days, and you have nothing to gain by doing everything right away. Once you top the plants, give them a day or two, then start doing some LST to spread out your bud sites. LST will also help keep her shorter. Overall very nice! Those girls are going to great!

Man that is going to be one huge trimming on that under canopy. I couldn't bear to trim that extensively. Your scrog is coming together rather nicely. You did a great job keeping the height down. What do you think? Around 4 feet come harvest time? That is certainly manageable. I am going to be growing Blue Dream and another Sativa next grow. You are giving me some great ideas on how to manage my grow.

@Quexos, yea final height will be around 4 feet. The trimming is going to take some time! especially the one in the back.. really hard to reach. Blue Dream is a vigourous grower. The 1st week in flower it pushed around 3,5 inch through the net!

You better flip them to flower soon, or you'll have to start charging them room and board.

Very, very healthy. Nice work. Its a great idea to use the screen to spread out your girls. Remember though, they are going to almost double in size when you flip them.
