4-5 days post Germination, these plants are moving fast. Ph 6.3, used Coco Coir and pot4pot soil. Used a Root booster for a couple of feedings, waterings.
Don't these look like they are stretching or damping off. First grow for me, used too much water at first. have not watered for 4 days and they seem to be strengthening up.
Hi growmie welcome to the world of growing 😃 they do seem to appear to be stretching when are u planning on transplanting (if u are) something that will be of great help for these little ladies is some a support stick and some soft tie joining to the plants and will then strengthen these babies up for u ...I look forward to following your journey and wish u all the best of luck , try to always take notes of anything that you do you'll find that if u hit any troubles u will be able to look bk over what u have done and solve any problems before they get to bad , we all hit troubles along our way just learn more and more as u go along 👍
Rough week after transplant, recovery was slow, plants drooping severely, thought I was going to lose two of them. Two of them fell apart when I turned them upside down and slid the cup off, but I was able to get the root ball into the pot in one piece.
These are 3 Blue Dream Auto's, and the Atomic Apple is a Photo... At least the stretching has subsided. The Auto's are small but considering they will not be very big when they start to bloom... Now the Atomic Apple will be on track. I may have gotten lucky....
Ok, I have been totally remiss in logging my first grow. They germinated in 24 hours, put in Solo cups, then transplanted at 3 weeks. The 3 Blue Dreams are an Auto from ILGM and the web site says they will be finished in 10-14 weeks, which I am not sure I believe. They were in Veg until about 5 weeks, then started small budding as expected.
I have not been using any real nutrients as mix for the Blue Dreams is Fox Farm, HF and OC 50/50 mix so pretty hot. The Atomic Apple is in s Super Soil from A POT FOR POT..
So here we are Blue Dreams are at 8 weeks, clear trichomes, buds are not really too large, two of them are 24 inches, and the runt is about 12 inches and bulking up now...
Having issues with one of the Blue Dreams, it has lower leaves turning yellow, will post in an issue. Also, I have no idea if the Atomic Apple is female or male. It was germinated a week after the Blue Dream so it is 7 weeks and is a bag seed. I love this strain so I took 4 clones off it in case it is female and will be my next grow(s). If Male, I was going to pollinate a Blue Dream, collect the seeds, and shoot for a female and clone it .... =)
2 questions, having an issue with one of the Blue Dreams, fantastic flowering, purple leaves, lower leaves are now turning yellow. I saw that there is too much light so I turned it down a bit,. But what do I need to do to fix the yellow leaf issue.. 2nd Atomic Apple sex???
Looks like a nitrogen deficiency or lack of light can cause yellow leaves at bottom. Akso plants will start naturally defoliating themselves as they get close to finish. Your flowering plant should be in high demand for stronger light. And sexing a plant before it shows is not very accurate. Looks female, but only 1 true way to know for sure.
I am happy for my first grow as nothing died. Was a little nerve wrecking when everything started turning yellow. Resolved that and then at the end everything was shriveling up but Trichromes were barely cloudy and no amber to be seen. I cut all three after 12 weeks and now curing them, probably go several months on the cure to get a good smell out of them.. One BD plant had purple buds, the others had green frosty buds with orange hairs.
;The Blue dream were Autos, Atomic apple is a bag seed and still in veg and is a photo. Got 8 clones off her and now putting her into bloom after 14 weeks. Will post new diary for the clones..
@Roberts......Ok Top dressed the plant with some Seabird Guana, watered it, will see. Checking Trichome's daily but still clear as a bell on all 3 BD plants. I saw burning on tips of leaves and turning down, felt like light was too strong at 24 inches from BP XP3000.
Sex of the Atomic Apple, I know it's too early, just thought I would see if it was leaning to a particular sex. Holding them from Flower, letting it veg longer and grow bigger before switching to a new grow room with 12/12 lighting. If that is a female, I am good, have 4 clones currently starting to root after 8 days in incubator. Should start the next diary with them in it..
@Roberts, Ok the one Blue Dream with yellowing leaves is still yellowing and curling up now on lower leaves, and uppers turning yellow. Top dressed some guano and some nutrients with 5 on nitrogen. Water with nutes is 6.3 so not a problem there. Only thing I can think of is nutrient lockout so Nitrogen is not getting to the leaves.. So I will wait till the soil is dry ina couple of days, flush the soil, then water with some small amount of Nitrogen nutrient. I just know I dont want to lose this one. Has the coolest purple flowers and leaves and dark orangish hairs... But I check trichomes everyday, bulbs on top are clear fluid.. The buds are nuggets, doesn't seem to be flowering like the others. My wish is for a cola the size of wrist.. isnt that all our wishes? =)
Thanks for the warm welcome, will be transplanting these in the next week. Will water today to see how these take it. Switched these to 16/8 lighting, and removed my blacklights from the room, lol. First grow would really like to at least have one plant grow past seedling... =) Moving to 7 gl aerated grow bags.
