Beginning of week.. So she is doing great! Roots are growing like crazy now that they have made it to the sides of the cup. This is why I like to use clear cups.. Of course, I have another cup around it to catch runoff and to also block light.. But at anytime, I can just pull her up and out of the black (painted) cup and check out the root growth.. This will be the first time I've used the MYCO+ with a clear cup.. Hopefully we can see some shit happening.. I left the seed shell, as I always do, and today it seemed to have some shit growing on it lol.. Mildewey type fungus or someshit.. Lol.. It weird cut its literally JUST in the shell that I left.. Anyways.. She is growing beautifully.. I really want to try and NOT feed so much cuz I am noticing my harvests aren't as tasty as they were before.. I always forget.. LESS IS MORE!.. I believe: the main goal is to just keep the plant healthy and give her plenty of light and circulation, just enough food for her to do her thing without any issues and the genetics should take care of the rest!.. Anyways.. Im just rambling at this point.. But so far she is just chilling in a clear 20 oz plastic cup which is inside of a black painted 20oz clear cup to block light and catch runoff, so I can test it! I always test my runoff.. And so far she began to have some high runoff pH.. I should need to water her tomo or the next day (no nutes) so I will know more then!..... 2 days later (almost mid week)... Wow these roots are exploding all over the place.. I saw one getting close to a drain hole.. Sometimes, I like to try and guide them back through the drain hole so it can keep growing instead of cutting it.. But I came back an hour or 2 later and it had already made it's way out of the drain hole! It literally grew about a half inch in 1 - 2 hours!!! Not even exaggerating! These plants are amazing.. I've included a couple root pics.. They are just so beautiful and interesting.. Finally able to water.. Today, I believe was the 3rd time I've ever watered/fed her.. All feedings so far.. No plain waterings.. I do like to water, feed, water, feed, etc... but I feel that I've kept the PPMs pretty low, up until now.. Today, the runoff PPM was a bit higher than it was going in.. So, next time she dries out, she will only get pH'd water with some Hydroguard.. Not sure why I keep using Hydroguard in coco/perlite.. Never heard of anybody else doing it.. I'm sure it's not hurting anything.. I'd probably go ahead and assume it helps the roots TREMENDOUSLY! That and the MYCO+ powder stuff too.. Both are fucking amazing for roots.. And this time we can watch it happen! Will be updating tomorrow with pics, as well!... Mid week.. She is doing great.. I took a few pics throughout the day.. She was praying later in the day.. Roots are still doing magical things lol.. End of week.. She is doing awesome.. Noticing a little yellowing toward the bottom leaves.. But nothing too awful.. I had to go ahead and water without nutes yesterday.. Again, the plan is to feed, water, feed, water, etc... But so far, yesterday was the first time with just plain ol' 25% somewhat filtered tap water (cheap Brita) 75% rainwater (just filtered through a napkin to get out all the sediment out) pH'd to 6.2 and at about 80 PPM.. Runoff came out at 6.0 pH and about 250 PPM.. Not bad.. Been feeding at about 500 - 550 PPM.. Runoff started to come out a bit higher than it was going in, so now I begin the water, feed, water, feed regimen.. These leaves are so... Interesting lol.. Roots are doing awesome things in the medium.. The leaves are a little droopy in today's pics because it was already about the 16th hour of the day.. She will be ready to pray in the AM again lol.. Will be updating with those pics for beginning of next week!... On to the next!...
