I’ve been dealing with fungus gnats. Sounds like a common problem I layer the ground with perlite and heavily put diatomaceous on top let it sit for two days vacuum the top layer off and repeat. Twice got all of them I can see and back to a regular feeding schedule daily. I have yellow fly traps I’m gonna put on the soil to help keep them down. I’m going to get a drip system. So there isn’t much saturated soil on the top for them to breed . To prevent this next grow

So as a first time grower. I’m worried about everything and. Thought my plants hermits on me but they are just swollen calyx. Felt a few with some tweezers and no seed 🤙. purple is really taking over on the blue gelato . Saw my first ambers coming in last night I’m saying two more weeks with her before she gets the

Starting this week and noticing light stress. With my viparspectra p2000 I’m at 17” inches and they are doing well. On my viparspectra p2500 I wasn’t raiding enough for the stretching and it was at about 15” I took it up to 18”. I’m taking my nutrients down I’m seeing ambers on my blue gelato and the tricomes are getting alittle cloudy I’d say two weeks till it makes the cut. I think I’m gonna let it grow till the 3 blue dreams are done, so I can have a nice bed time joint. probably two weeks also with the dreams I’m noticing a few ambers here and there with mostly clear heads. Hopefully two weeks will be prefect cloudy. I want to see how day these buds will get in the last two weeks

Second scrog was not necessary used a scrog net with to big of opening for my first one. Always learning been dreaming about smoking These girls it’s almost time for them to make the cute I will be cutting out nurients except for cal mag and hydrozyme for a week or alil more and total darkness for 42 hours

Flushing this week blue dream 1 is maturing slower than the others , may let her mature and let the others get a more indica effect love watching these girls fatten up and see the tricomes getting cloudy and amber

This was an amazing firat grow and I’m not done yet love mainlining. Depending on how these dry and the yields come out I may just do lst and get about the same amount of yield out of the grow but I still have another week or so till I chop the others

these are my three blue dreams 9 weeks and 3 days from flower went with a 48 hour darkness period bro science for the win 🥇 but seriously hope it helps

Ok this was my first grow and I made mistakes. -forgot to buffer coco - nutrient burn -started the manlining to early - probably worried to much about every stage these plants. -ended up with fungus gnats And probably appt more I can’t rmeber in the moment. But i learned so much from all of my mistakes and spent so much time researching and seeing in real time how these plants react and grow. I did do some experimentation just a normal top with one blue dream. I topped twice one another blue dream and did a 3 times topped on all the blue dreams and I see why you should at least top three times the eight main colas and spread out the plant I see some of the buds on the one I only topped once not matured at all because there was minimal light other buds were growing so fat it suffocated it basically. I could have probably defoliated and manliness better but ayy. Beginners wil make Mistakes and I’m happy with what came out of these girls. Not excited for trim hail but I am at the same time 😅😅
