Hi! How many main branches are best left after topping? In my last grow I left 8 branches (4 nodes) and it was too difficult to train them. Leaving 4 main branches in "plus" shape would be a good solution? Which option will save me more time (fast veg is important for me)? Thanks

Hello, You may fair better using mainlining rather than LST. I feel LST requires that little extra veg, for all the training that has to go on with recovery as well to be taken into account. I top and mainline in a 60x60. Usually have between 6-10 top colas. I find this easier in my small space as I can lower each branch down and use topping to allow the branches to make an even canopy. I really don't have the space to do LST properly or how I would like. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

Hi. Does the right plant have an overdose of nitrogen or is everything ok? Thanks.

Hello OGSesh you give them a little too much nitrogen but your plant seems to accept it because you have any signs of burn on the end of your leaves. They are dark shiny green on older leaves due to high level of nitrogen. Just give water for the 2 next watering and then give a reduced dose of nutrients. Otherwise your plants are really nice. I like it. Good job man. Bye

Hi guys. Why did the plants start showing yellow ends (brown dots at some ends) on the leaves? I use advanced nutrients sensi coco A+B 2.5ml/l + B-52 2ml/l (770ppm) and tap water. Run-off 720ppm, ph 7.0 (as far as i know i don't need to care about ph with ph perfect fertilizers).

Hello OGsesh the yellow tips is a burn nutrient. It is due to too much nitrogen and your plant tells it with this sign. Then for your problem of ph try to use a ph down like 3 acid down you will see a big difference. It is a combination of 3 acid like the name says. So reduce a little your nitrogen and use a better ph down and you will be fine and your plant also. Good luck. Bye

Hi. My plant started to develop brown dots on the leaves and its edges started to burn. This started happening about a week ago. What could be the problem? I water the plant every day and my run-off is around 1000ppm. The second plant without similar problems. Thanks!

This looks like some nitrogen toxicity and nutrient burn to me. The other plant maybe eating more and able to handle it for now, but it will be getting the same issues down the road. The excess nitrogen will cause calcium to be locked out. That is a spotting on the leaves. Lower your feeds and monitor runoff of plants. it should not be to much higher then the solution going in. If it is, you have an excess of salts built up the medium and need to flush them out. Best of Luck and Happy Growing!
