Solo Sour Diesel

GIPeN Week 1 of vegetation. Under Atreum Hydra-1000 at 45% power Sharing the tent with other crops, like some pink tomato seedlings that will be going outside. One of the leaves of the second pair didn't grew full.

GIPeN This week I was on vacation, so there is a single picture. My dad who came to feed my cats also watered the plant when needed. I think next week will be the first transplant.

GIPeN Transplanted to second pot. Reduced hours of light to 18h and increased lamp potency from 45w yo 75w Fimmed, first time doing this technique, let's see if it's true it produces more branches than topping.

GIPeN This week we are seeing the result of the FIMMING, effectively now I have a node with 4 leaves! Added rice shells as mulch yo keep humidity in the soil, is working great. Removed growth from first node and some leaves to let more light in the side branches.

GIPeN Continuing on vegetation, removing some leaves here an there to increase light penetration. Lower branches have put a nice growth, I'm training them so they grow laterally instead of vertically. The result of fimming is awesome, a 4 branches node followed by a 3 branches node and finishing with TWO tops! Watered on days 30 and 34 with 500ml of water plus 0.2ml fishmix Acquired a new ph meter, been using color strips until now. Now I can measure ph after mixing nutrients :D

GIPeN This week I transplanted it to it's final pot, a 10 gal fabric pot. Maybe I should've transplanted early, some roots were coiling up in the pot feet Applied LST to let the light pass to the multiple small branches, happy with the FIMing results. It took some time to grow, I hope from now on it grows more vigorously.

GIPeN Another week of vegging The results of LST were immediate, many tops forming from the side branches obtained with the FIMing technique, the plant now loos like a bush. Removing leaves here and there everyday to allow better light penetration or small interior leaves that will never see the light.

GIPeN Another week of vegetation, many tops developing. Not as fast as I'd like, but the plant looks really healthy and in good shape. Increased fish-mix to 1ml/L The plant is drinking more water, I'm doing one watering of 3.2L per week until now, knowing how much water and how often is one of the things that are still hard to me.

GIPeN New week of veg It's drinking more water, and days are getting really hot here, I watered 2 times this week, one with 1mL/L of bio-grow and one with 1mL/L of fish-mix Added a second Atreum Hydra-1000 :D, dimmed them at 80% for now. I expected a thicker stem with this big pot, I put a photo with a pencil for comparison. I bought a new fan with oscillating function, It moves a lot more air than the previous ones that barely moved the leaves, this new one moves all the branches Removed an small branch from the bottom that wasn't growing and put it to root. On day 62 I did a general defoliation as leaves where overlapping, hope this will promote more grow. I think week 10 will be the last one of veg, not sure yet.

GIPeN Last week of veg. Did 2 waterings, one with 1mL/L Fish-Mix and one 4 days later with 1mL/L Bio-Grow It has re leafed completely from last week defoliation, this week I didn't remove leaves, just a lower branch that won't grow to the light to make another clone. On Sunday night I flipped the timer to 12/12, so next week (dec 27 to jan 2) will be the first of flowering.

GIPeN Flipped to 12/12 on day 71 Added a higher dose of Bio-Grow to help stretch: 8mL BG in 4L of water on day 74 Installed a trellis net on day 75 to hopefully extend the canopy to the full tent width after the stretch.

GIPeN Second week of flowering, pistils are showing up It didn't stretch so much, I was expecting to spread it more. Started the bloom nutrients, I'm considering increasing the water amount, maybe to every 3 days instead of 4. Defoliation has been very light, just some leaves here and there to allow more light penetration and uncover possible bud sites.

GIPeN 3rd week of flowering, things are settling Last trainings to spread the plant with the trellis net The extractor is on and helping reduce humidity, still no smell from the plant

GIPeN 4th week of flowering, added an increased nutrient dose. Still no smell from the buds.

GIPeN 5th week of flowering, trichomes are showing up around the buds. A little smell is starting to appear. Temps are high in my area and air is dry, vpd is not so good at 2.2kpa

GIPeN Another week of just water while I was at the beach. Plant is smelling more and buds are bigger and still growing. Many buds are polyploids, I think it was a consequence of FIMing

GIPeN Week 8 of flowering, 18 overall. Harvest time is coming soon, most trichomes are cloudy. Smell is potent at touch buy doesn't go very far, strangely despite having beautiful trichomes it doesn't fill the tent with smell.

GIPeN Kind of disappointed with the end yield, just over 90g, buds fill my jars with 30g, usually they are filled with over 40g. Maybe I hurried in harvesting, nanners started to appear in many buds so I decided to cut the plant right away.
