Hey folks, we're back with another week, hope your looking forward to the holidays. ππ
It's been another easy week really, she's trucking along just fine, no problems this week, she's still thickening up but I am seeing a few fox tails starting to develop on a few buds, some people hate them but I think they look cool π, ive been checking her with the loupe every day and I'm seeing more and more cloudy trics this week. Looks like it's guna be a great start to the year π I think she's looking amazing, I am loving her purples, this is the first purple pheno I've grown and I'll definitely be doing some more. π
Watered her twice this week, I know shock horror lol, I did leave the second watering till she was wilting over tho this week not through anything other than I didn't have time, I have read tho that a bit of stress towards the end of flower can increase trichome production but I didn't noticed anything really, I guess you'd have to do it a few times to see results. Maby I'll do the same this week and see if I notice any changes.
And that's it for another week, only a couple of weeks to go now, I think I'm actually getting excited π . Thanks for stopping by and getting this far. Take care ππ±π
Hey @Professor_Chaos, thanks for your comment and stopping by, made me laugh that mate π , That purple you grew was the bomb, love those purples mate. ππ±
@@Gezza,
You're doing great! Shouldn't be much longer from here! I will follow along.. you should check out my Purple Lemonade I finished awhile back.. gorgeous colors. I tried a bloody skunk from sweet seeds.. didnt turn red/purple like these phenos did.. she only showed alot of colors in the stem.. solid red.. but just crazy how phenos can come out so different.. i thought I was sold some bunk seeds till the stems started turned red and she was skunky af.. awesome smoke too.. m bad growmie.. I'm a little stoned and just finger fucked my keyboard in your comment section π€£ nothing like growing your own bud tho.. keep it up and I will be following!
Great job on the LST! I'm glad to hear your nugs are tightening up!!.. I guess I was wrong about the (early on) purple/red phenos.. they can get dense! Maybe I fucked up somewhere.. especially with the nitrogen toxicity early to mid-flower I ran into.. oh, and I wouldn't
worry about those leaves fading.. you are getting pretty close to harvest.. just smooth sailing from here.. seeing your purple pheno is makin me wanna bust out a purple pheno myself lol. Good job, growmie! She is absolutely stunning!
Hey @Professor_Chaos, I did wondered when she stretched if she'd fill out but she did, they're not solid but I'm pretty pleased, I didn't exactly nail this one either tho we definitely had our problems along the way, I always seem to push them too hard. This is the first purple pheno I've grown and I'll be doing another one for sure, these colours are amazing. Roll on the next couple of weeks. Cheers mate. Take care. ππ±π
Awesome trichome shot! We may be harvesting the same week! I tend to overfeed almost every grow.. do you check runoff? When I grew in soil, I would only feed once a week and just water 2 more times (usually) but with soil and synthetic nutes, salt build-ups can happen easily.. i always check my runoff, even in coco coir.. its good to know what your roots pH is, and the amount of salts coming out of the root zone.. not gonna get an exsct reading, but it should be kinda close and I can always spot a salt build up within a day or 2 instead of letting sit there for a week or 2 and then the plant shows signs of stress. I love coco coir/perlite.. just water, feed, water, feed etc... but with soil, I found I had to water, water, feed, water, water, feed, etc. To avoid salt build ups.. checking runoff every watering/feeding is a must for me.. people get away without it tho.. but even my current grow, I tried to only feed at 850 PPM instead of 1000 PPM and still getting bad nute burn.. but each plant, strain, pheno can be different.. idk wtf happened this time.. but she should still come out dank af!
@@Gezza,
I love coco.. no waiting for medium to dry if you need to flush. I enjoy the daily time with the ladies so watering daily isnt an issue for me. But yes, it is much easier to control, in my opinion
Hey @Professor_Chaos, came out good didn't it, I even pleased myself with that one. π I've never even checked my run off lol, it's a bloody good shout tho, I have fed pretty much every watering and your so right, I just seem to be playing catch up all the time, reacting when it's too late really. I'm definitely guna try it on the next one. I've been using plant magic soil supreme the last couple of grows and I do like it but I think it's maby a bit hot for the beginning and I also don't think it's helping in trying to dial the nutes in once she's growing. I'm guna have to look into this coco a bit more I think, seems you have a lot more control.
