I’ve done it lots. Spritz with water and let the membrane inside moisten up, then either remove carefully with your fingers or with tweezers. I’ve never had one die. I was advised it was because i wasnt planting the germinated seeds deep enough, so have been going a bit deeper so they friction of coming up through the soil removes the shell.

i guarantee you that this will not work well, in fact i'll bet on it lol. take a look at my profile for a discussion. I've personally never seen a good 24hours grow, and i've tried it myself , i've seen people talk about it, but i've not seen proof it works well. However i have seen hundreds of examples of 24hours of light not doing well. I've also seen hundreds of examples of 20hours and 18hours not working well. What i do is 24hours for the first three weeks, then i turn it down to 20 , enter flower on 18 hours, and gradually take that down to 12 by harvest time. That's because THC and terpenes (what gives taste to the product) will degrade in light and heat, so the less light the stronger and the tastier the weed. depends what you're after, i'm after quality .
