MrGrow I took 8 cuttings from a beautiful Power Flower plant in flowering grown outdoors. This technique, for those who don't know, is called monstercropping and involves making cuttings from a flowering plant re-veg. Mainly, you should take the cuttings during the first 2 or 3 weeks of flowering and reset the light cycle to "trick" the plant into entering the vegetative phase again. I'll be updating this diary once a week, if possible, to understand the benefits and challenges of approaching this technique.

21 days in the vegetative phase for my monster clones🤭
Now they are starting to stretch and bush out completely naturally. Reviving a cutting in flowering produces this effect, along with other strange things like the shape of the leaves, especially the first ones that have sprouted. For now, I don't plan to train them, we'll see in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Some signs of stress on the leaves of one specimen, but nothing to worry about for now. I'm watering with half a liter of water every 3 days with Canna products, they're growing well. I want to wait another couple of weeks for the plants to stretch a bit, and then apply the net to bend them properly and spread them across the entire width of the box.

48 days of vegetative growth, unfortunately this week I noticed that many leaves on one of the 6 plants had strange white spots, and on the lower part near the base there were some small webs.
For the past couple of days, I've been treating the plants with neem oil, I hope to resolve this in a few days so I can apply the scrog and move on to flowering.

The cutting was taken from a mother plant in full bloom and made to revegetate. The structure of the plant is fantastic, it grows bushy but with an elongation closer to sativa.
With 6 plants, the box is completely exploding! This week I'm making the switch and sending them into flowering🌻

I increased the nutrients to start flowering, I added a 400-watt HPS lamp in addition to the 100-watt Spiderfarmer, waiting for the Mars Hydro to finish in the other box😅
The plants have stretched a bit but I thought it would be worse. They reached about 1 meter in height and it seems they have already stopped.
Everything seems to be going well, I hope the plants handle the new light well🤞

Not much to report this week, the buds are starting to grow, unfortunately, I noticed some red spider mites that survived the neem oil treatment I did a few weeks ago. Those little bastards are really resilient, and they reproduce very quickly, I had to spray more solution to get rid of them completely, and that means that when I harvest the plants, I’ll have to wash them before drying. I'm starting to see some leaves turning yellow, but it's a normal process as the end of the plant's cycle approaches. The buds are getting heavy, and I had to tie them up to prevent the branches from breaking; I've never had branches be so thin that they couldn't support the weight.

Also wipe the underside of leads if you aren't taking them there'll be eggs on the underside inbetween the gains, and also they'll lay a little below the soil.

Well your tackling it right. If I were you I'd try catch as many of them little bastards as you can before harvest. Have you got any bug traps the yellow pads. Drop then and even cut them down and lay then inbetween bud sites up and down the node and remove all there webs first so they have to walk over the areas where you laid down even very sticky double sided tape, and you'll catch most of them, also if you have any peppermint oil it's also great to put it around the time of your bucket/pot and leafs. Put some on cotton wool balls drop a few around the base and even near your buds it'll drive them mad and Into your traps, again the more you catch the better and if your getting that close to harvest you'll lose most of your leafs in the flush so why not take them make it harder for them to move around forcing them to travel up and down the stem, across nodes, where your sticky bug traps will be waiting. There's 1 week left until harvest, I have to bring it forward because of pests, I can't keep them under control just by defoliating anymore.
I still see milky trichomes, so the ideal moment for harvest isn't too far off.
I'll finish this week by watering only with water, and next weekend I'll leave 30 hours of darkness before the harvest.

I proceeded with the trimming and washing of the buds on the 63rd day of flowering.
The final result is excellent; in a space of 1.2 m², I produced a harvest of 540 g of dry and trimmed buds ready to smoke💚
With the trimmings from the leaves and smaller flowers, I managed to extract some top-quality kief.
I will update in a few weeks with the smoke report, after I have cured and burped the buds in glass jars.🙏💚

Hey friend looking great. Tent is amazing and love the clean setup, I was wondering if I could offer 1 small pointer? You may already know it, But after your plants finish their vertical growth by weeks 4-6 of flower if we open up our temp gaps between lights on and lights off to more than 10 degrees less when the lights go out the plants will send extra energy into the budding process and resin production.
If we do this in veg or early flower it will cause the plants to stretch, But once their vertical growth finishes their genetic response to that stress signal changes. Take it easy man keep up the great work, Check out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary & follow my profile!
