Seedlings seemed to like the kelp. Need to get more humic acid to mix with it, next week. Seedlings were dipped in a mycorrhiza slurry prior to being put into root riot cubes. The white stuff (mycorrhiza?) on the root riot cubes has started to clear up... Probably the light. Got some free dynomyco so trying it out to see how beneficial it is in hydo (rdwc). I will inoculate again when they go into net pots.....try to get some on the roots above the water and once they are all in their buckets I will inoculate the nutrient solution.

Some plants are kind of yellow ish towards the bottom... nutes too strong? too much kelp? I think my Ph meter is off... getting new calibration solution.

Hello i can see on your diary that your bottom leaves are yellowing because of lack of nitrogen. So you can consider that your EC is too low . you can increase it between 0,7-0,9 and you will see your plants take a better green. Otherwise you do it great it is better to underfeeding instead of overfeeding. Good job and good luck. Bye

Temps have cooled off a bit. Almost time to turn on the heater. Gong to enclose the seedling area a bit to try to keep the heat from the lights/ballasts. Upped the nute level too because I was too low. Switched to metal halide and the plants obvisouly responded well!

A lot must be going on under the pebbles, root-wise... haven't seen that explosion of growth up top yet but they are still in net pots alone. Put them in buckets while I ensure my water chemistry is good in the big system.... will prune the roots just back to the shortest bunch when I transfer them into the 13-gallon buckets. Almost time to top and start LST.

They are growing fast now! Hate to top them and slow them down... going to wait a bit longer since they just took off then I'll top them. May be more than 6 nodes but I can always trim the small bottom branches! going to clone anyways... Going to really try to time it where all but the top 3 shoots on every branch are trimmed so I get bigger colas/less shoots deep in the canopy (less light) Oh yeah.... Got a TRIPLOID!!! Found my next mother plant!! heavy yielder!! Grape Ape x Strawanna from Wiseguy Genetics!

Plants are getting huge. Found a triploid axillary branch and cloned it!! Water had some weird little white jumping worm things in it.... fungus gnat larvae? Got mosquito dunks... Plants are not showing any signs of damage or slow growth. Going to thin out the middle/bottom of the plants and get better air flow. almost time to flip!

On a triploid... do all of the axillary branches have 3 branches per node or just the main stem? So in order to clone a triploid do you have to take the top of the main stem to keep the 3 branches per node?

I have a plant going that has 4 nodes going with one massive flower starting on top. The side branches do not have this mutation and the clones I took from the side branches do not show this mutation. I would say if you want this mutation to carry on, you would need to take it from the branch with the mutation.
