I am very excited about this grow. I just got my Jelly Rancher seeds by Humboldt Seed Co, purchased from DC Seed Exchange. What a great company DC Seed Exchange is. My seeds were shipped out on Friday, and I got them today, Monday the 1st of November. I will let the seeds soak for a while, then put them into expanded peat pellets.
Once the seedlings got about 2 to three inches long, I went ahead and transplanted them into their 2 gallon fabric pots. I am really looking forward to see how these genetics do.

Gave the Jelly Rancher girls their first feeding of about 1/2 gallon of water with the General Hydroponics nutrients listed above.
11/15/2021
I raised the light intensity of my LED lights to about 60%, and added a couple of fans and a couple of blue LED lights to keep internodal spacing at a minimum, and fed a half gallon of the nutrient mixture listed above.
Most plants are now beginning to grow their third set of leaves. I plan to FIM all plants on each have about five or six nodes. I am feeding a half a gallon of water to the four Jelly Rancher girls with the nutrients listed above every other day, adding Real Grower's Recharge once a week.
11/22/2021
I noticed some taco-ing of the leaves of some of the girls, probably from some high heat, because I accidentally had my lights up too high for a day or so, and it could also be from the nutrients being a little higher than what they want, so I only gave plain water two days ago. Today I fed a gallon of water between the eight plants with the nutrients listed above. The plants are looking better, and should recover.
Something I should mention is that I ordered Green Planet's 'Take it and Grow' grow kit, which has their 4 part Hydro Fuel nutrients, along with Massive, Liquid W8, and a couple of other things. I also got some Terpinator as well. I think I will feed half of the plants the General Hydroponics nutrients, and the other half the Green Planet nutrients, and see which one I think is the best. I will definitely keep this diary updated with my results.
I have FIMed all plants, and have begun giving a full gallon of water with nutrients between the four plants every other day.
10/29/2021
The girls look really healthy now, so I decided to give them their first defoliation. These plants are growing very vigorously, and look like they will produce some very fine buds.
11/30/2021
I stepped up the amount of nutrients to the amounts listed for week three of the aggressive regimen listed on General Hydroponics 10-part feeding schedule, and also replaced GH's Diamond Nectar for Green Planet's GPH uptake, which is a humic acid.
12/01/2021
FIMed all plans a second time, and also FIMed the tips of the other main branches of all plants. They will get another dose of Recharge with their next feeding tomorrow.
12/04/2021
I fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above.
12/05/2021
I gave all the girls a second major defoliation. I plan to switch to 12/12 flower cycle this Tuesday evening.
12/06/2021
I removed a few leaves and fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. These girls are doing excellent. They have responded very well to the major defoliation that they received. I will flip them to the 12/12 flower cycle in a day or two I believe.
I uploaded a couple of pictures of the strains I plan to grow in the future, which is mostly Humboldt Seed Company genetics.
The girls are looking very good going into flower. I will feed them two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above tomorrow morning. The flower time for these girls is about 45 days, so I hope to have finished harvest and dry before the end of January. I have plans to move to a larger house February, and hope to set up two 4x4 tents, so I have been collecting Humboldt Seed Company seeds that I hope to grow in my new 4x4 tents. I plan to grow four different strains that have the same flower time per grow. I think my next grow will be Raspberry Parfait, Old Growth OG, Blueberry Cupcake and Vanilla Frosting. The grow after that will be Pistachio, Nutter Budder, Strawberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Cream Pie. The extra Vanilla Frosting pack was sent by mistake, and will be replaced with Vanilla Cream Pie. If anyone wants to get some Humboldt Seed Company genetics, I suggest DC Seed Exchange or North Atlantic Seed Co.
I am sure if I had some shitty Autoflowers, or some crappy Amsterdam genetics grown out of Spain I would get more attention, instead of growing these badass genetics from the Golden Triangle that is Humboldt County. The fellas in Europe can wish and want, and try to emulate, but I promise, even the great Barnies seeds can never match some of the strains from Humboldt Seed Co. in Humboldt county, California. I already have 12 strains from Humboldt Seed Co, and I plan to run all of them and finish them before August of this year. We will see how they come out.
So, I gave a big defoliation last week, and I think the nutrients and amount of water was too much last feeding, so they have not been feed for three days. They will get one gallon of water with Recharge this next feeding tomorrow.

I am sure the picture of different strains look excessive, but I really got tired of being at the mercy of black market sellers, and after experiencing real dispensaries in San Diego, I decided to say fuck it, and become my own dispensary. I certainly do not want to say I only want to grow HSC genetics, but I want some very flavorful strains with different terp profiles that I know I can depend on for these next few grows. I have plans to move to a larger house after the first of the year, which will allow me to set up a 4x4 tent, and a 4x5 2-in-1 grow tent, with the 4x5 2-in-1 having a separate section for seedlings, clones, or veg. Once I get this set up, I plan to grow about 4 different strains that have the same flowering time per tent. I may grow more or less, we will see. I grow in 2 gallon fabric containers, Sea of Green, so the way I figure I will be able to get 36 plants into each tent. If I can schedule it right, I will be able to get a harvest from a 4x4 tent every 6 weeks maybe. I may plant half of the strains that finish early, like 45 to 50 days, with the other half with flowering times of 60-70 weeks, and harvest half the tent at a time. I will be able to do this as I plan to have a very nice, cool automated dry/cure box for my grows going forward after this one.

Fed all four plants a gallon of water with Real Grower's Recharge.
12/20/2021
The plants look great. I am feeding half of the plants with General Hydroponics nutrients, with Green Planet GPH uptake and Massive. I know it is not straight up GH nutrients, but I need to run through the rest of my GH nutrients, and I want to see how it does as opposed to straight Green Planet nutrients which I am feeding the other four plants. I will for sure switch to Green Planet nutrients fully next grow, but I am curious how this grow will turn out, if I will see a difference in the two nutrient feedings.
This is the beginning of week three. The two plants in the back corners had tops that were growing higher than the others, so I tried to bend them down to train them and even the canopy, but I accidentally snapped both tops. These plants seem to have more of a snap to them, lol.
I am making a much greater effort to defoliate and only leave a few branches and bud sites per plant, in hopes I will have very little to no larf, and only decent sized flowers.
The buds a starting to get larger. It looks like the Jelly Rancher girls are a little bit more frosty than the Pineapple Muffin girls, but all plants look really healthy. I decided to drop all General Hydroponics nutrients except for ArmorSi for silica. So far I am very pleased with the Green Planet nutrients I am using now.
The buds are definitely getting frosty. I don't think my yield will be very big this grow, but it should be really good quality.
So, I was looking on www.buildasoil.com and saw that they were selling 8 ounce packs of freeze dried coconut water powder for plants. The product also sites a study by three scientist, two of them in Singapore, and the third scientist at MIT university in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on the composition of Plant Growth Regulators in coconut water. As I was reading, I remembered that I have some Pineapple Mango coconut water with Aquamin, which is a calcium derived from algae harvested in the North Atlantic, so I have started giving my girls one teaspoon of this powder per gallon of nutrient mixture. I am adding this for the PGRs in the coconut water, but also as an extra source of sugar for the microbes in the soil. I have added this the last two feedings along with the Green Planet nutrients and Real Growers Recharge, and I can say I have never seen my plants this healthy and frosty. I can't wait to see how my final harvest turns out. Also, if anyone is interested in reading more about the natural PGRs found in coconut water, you can read the article I found below on "The Chemical Composition and Biological Properties of Coconut."

Week six of flower. I dropped the Real Grower's Recharge, as it is suggested to stop feeding it after about week five. The flowers look very frosty, with a ton of white hairs still. It looks like harvest will be in about 3 weeks I think.
I am very pleased with Green Planet's four part Hydro Fuel series nutrients, used with Recharge. I also really like the Coconut water with Mango and Pineapple from Laird Superfoods. There are 19 amino acids in these three different fruits, just in different amounts, and I really think it has helped put the bud growth into overdrive. These amino acids should also really help produce the secondary metabolites like Terpines, Flavonoids and resin that we are all looking for. My buds are bulking up now, very resinous and sticky, and covered with Trichomes, especially these Jelly Rancher girls. I think I am really getting my nutrition regime dialed in.

I tried a couple of test buds, and I must say this bud will seriously get you baked. It has a very sweet smell with a touch of dank, and nice flavor. I will be able to make a better assessment after dry and cure.
The trichomes are between 5-10% Amber now, so I think I will harvest in two days. I have been adding some supplement blue light, and some UVB light for about 90 minutes every other day. Some of these buds are absolutely stupid frosty. I will do my best to upload some good pictures soon.
01/31/2022
Tomorrow is harvest day. The trichome pictures that I have shown do not give an idea of the percentage of amber trichomes in most of the buds. I took pictures from a lower bud that is not as developed, but the top buds are definitely 20%-30% amber, which is exactly what I am looking for. Please excuse the horrible bud pictures, because I only have my shitty $100 Android camera with no clip-on macro lens, and I had problems taking a picture without the buds looking almost totally white, because all the trichomes reflect the light back, lol! These are by far the most frosty buds I have ever seen in real life, much less ever grown. Jelly Rancher and Pineapple Muffin are some absolutely killer genetics from Humboldt Seed Co., which I would recommend to anyone looking for killer, stable genetics.

I cut all the plants and hung them up whole in my tent. The current temperature is 64 degrees Fahrenheit and 60% humidity. judging by the total weight of the plants, I should get almost 7 ounces of really nice, dense flowers. I am very happy how this grow ended up turning out, especially since my tent got way over 90 degrees one day when I accidently turned my AC Infinity fan off before leaving for work, which stunted some of my plants. I am also very pleased with the Green Planet Hydro fuel line, Real Growers Recharge, and Laird Superfoods Coconut water with Aquamin. I will add the harvest week updated once the dry is complete.
This is a super easy strain to grow, with huge amounts of trichomes and Terpines. The smell is very sweet, similar to hard fruit candy. I really love this smoke. It is very smooth and sweet. A heady, focused high that becomes more relaxing as time goes by. I would recommend this strain to anyone, especially someone who needs a quick flowering time.
This was my most enjoyable grow so far. This strain was a real joy to grow, with the ability to take plenty of light and nutrients. These girls really responded well to the supplemental UVB and Blue light given during the last three weeks, and really packed on the Trichomes. I have 7 more seeds for another grow in a few months. I highly recommend this strain for sure. If you look at the last picture, you will see the genetics I am choosing from for my next grow.
@Budders, nice man that mimosa x orange punch has really good bag appeal from what I've seen. Looks like this run is gonna be mostly Humboldt Seed Co nice!!
Hi@TurboNico, I actually plan to run Pistachio with Nutter Budder, Stoopid Fruits, Vanilla Cream Pie, Mimosa x Orange Punch, and maybe some Baby Backs from Cannarado, which is a cross of GMO x Bubblegum Biscotti. I will grow Old Growth OG on my run after that with Blueberry Cupcakes, Raspberry Parfet, Vanilla Frosting, and Twins, which is another Cannarado genetic, which is Sour Double x Birthday Cake.
@L_Choppa, I believe in making sure the plants have all the nutrients they need, especially during the last part of flower. My PPM for my next feeding is about 620 PPM. I don't believe in giving just straight water during the last phase of flower, as you are depriving the plants of much needed nutrients when they need it the most. My flowers are stupid frosty now. I have been introducing supplemental blue light and UVB light during this last week or so of flower. I will upload more pics soon.
What's up @L_Choppa? I will be checking the trichomes tomorrow, but I am thinking I will be harvesting within a week. I prefer to have almost 30% trichomes amber before I harvest, especially for these two strains. I am feeding them their flush feeding tomorrow, Green Planet Rezin and Liquid Weight, along with Terpinator, Power Si and my secret additive, Laird Superfood's Coconut water powder with Mango and Pineapple, with Aquamin. All three fruits have 19 amino acids, and the Aquamin has Calcium and Magnesium, along with 72 trace minerals and elements.
