4-6 tops per plant would fill that canopy nicely.

Your nighttime temps are almost low enough to cause this coloration. My one plant on its older leaves had this as well but it was more dramatic as it was exposed to ever lower temps. If your night times temps never get below 16c then that's a different question n' story. But the rest of your plant is looking very healthy. Cold breaks down chlorophyll and allows anthocyanins to become dominant, this is why you see the purple ish hues. Don't sweet this. and if you truly don't like it, keep them a bit warmer at night. So I just finished reviewing your other question with this plant. Phosphorous deficiency does cause leaves to look like that, but it also slows the growth of the whole plant down and newer leaves will be very tiny. Looking at your diary the new growth is coming in strong and the plant does not look to be getting stunted. It appears in the one leaf that it was moving the nitrogen out of the leaf and it got blushed from the cold weather like in the other question. Its ok for plants to loose some of the leaves, in nature a lot of them would have been eaten by bugs or shit ripping them off like starlings, the crack head bird. I hate them, they eat so much of my garden in the spring, POS they are. As for feeding them, check out the feed charts provided by NPK industries.
