Another uneventful week for the ladies. Although I am getting the urge to flip to bloom, I'm going to wait another 2/3 weeks so I can bloom the little seedlings at the same time (1 tent).... As always, comments and tips are more than appreciated! First timer here. Defoliated both of the main plants half way through week 7. I also topped the little guy that was doing the best, as the others will catch up before blooming. I am stoked!

I tried to top 2 plants in the same way but one main shoot stopped growing, but the other had two new growths come right out of the old stem, as well as 2 bushier side stems. I am just wondering what I did differently and if both plants should work out fine. Video to show...

Looked like one might of been cut slightly differently. Light stimulates growth. If you do not want the extra growth cut it off. Plant will be fine. It is just adjusting to being topped. So it will try growing any way it can. Good luck and nice little ones. Happy growing 🌱

@Sour_D, thanks boss - the growers here have been an amazing resource. I just chirped Elon Musk for not having Smellovision yet because the limonene is real pungent.

@Terp_Derp, cool that's what it's all about! Having fun, learning from your experiences and from all of the helpful fellow growers on this site, and growing some good buds. 😎 Your buds are looking very tasty by the way. 💪

Lovely looking grow. Don't need anything extra unless you want some fancy sugars. But you got it all. Lovely grow.

Looks great dude! I don't think the purple leaves mean a whole lot other than higher content of pigments called "anthocyanins". From what I've read, dropping night time temps by 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit helps to trigger a gene to produce more of those pigments. It shouldn't have any effect on the potency, plenty of cultivars with no purple traits have equal or higher THC potential than these seeds do. Still, this stuff rocks for being 17-23%. :) Best of luck on your harvest.
