It's about that time again everyone! I still got my Landrace Sea of Dank going so be sure to check it out!
I purchased myself an AC INFINITY 4x4 with their 6 inch vent fan & ac controller... Definitely a nice upgrade in size & this should also facilitate my breeding ventures so I can control pollination better. You know, so I do not seed my entire crop... again 😊 lol. (Shout out to the GrowCast! I used their AC Infinity coupon code to save some dough, even worked on Amazon!)
I started with 12 Wild Thailand seeds which I purchased directly from World of Seeds!
(Shout out to World Seeds they sent me 15... With that said 9 of 12 germinated.)
I put the seeds directly into Formula 707 coco mix, in biodegradable jiffy pots in my Mars Hydro 2x4 Tent under a Mars Hydro TSL 2000 light. I started the light at 25% on the dimmer & I already have it at 40٪ to keep the temp at 75-76f.
Vapor Pressure Deficit is so important! I have the tent environment remaining consistent at about 75 degrees & 77 rH!
I intend to make my first effort at reversing my choice female of the bunch. I will reverse one so I have Wild Thailand pollen which I will harvest and use to either self pollinate that plant or pollinate another Wild Thailand female to create some Wild Thailand seeds for me to pop in the future. I also have Honduras pollen which I have stored so I can do a Honduras x Wild Thailand with my leading Thai lady!
The germination rates have left me with all smiles since I started going straight into coco!
You will learn a lesson with me about the importance of soaking your coco in a calmag solution to provide you seedlings/youlings with the appropriate Calcium & Magnesium they need to thrive while feeding off this preammended supersoil/coco I am using from Roots Organics... I was lazy and while the genetics faired well, a couple of the girls did not like it!
9 of 12 and things are looking real good!
Part of me does not like using this Roots Organic preammended medium as I truly do not know what is in it, more specifically in what amount the components are in. I like the medium and the results I get.
However based on how the girls looked I would have liked to fed a little nitrogen at this point. For the sake of how often I hear "More is Less" echoed I decided against feeding anything but water at this stage.
All said and done another good week!
Another great week! You can see some signs of the issues I brought up with getting CalMag dialed in. As I was dialing in the Nitrogen levels I may have pushed a little too hard so you can see a little bit of Nitrogen toxicity. But eventually we got everything dialed in real nice! You will see some real vigorous growth coming up real soon!
Mainlined by topping all of these girls at the 4th node & removing the 1st node giving me four main tops. I have decided to stick with 4 main tops giving me 36 tops-35 oops broke one!
We will be diligent to not face mold issues if these colas get real dense!
The growth is vigorous! The plants are green! The Photos are few! These ladies are praying to the lights!
There are a couple who are stretching a little beyond the population but overall pretty uniform. There are a couple who are pretty short which were also those two who were a little less accepting to my early nutrient imbalances and likely a result of nutrients.
Some beautiful scents of terpinolene and pinene among others starting to burst from the tent!
Another amazing week of growth! We are pretty much through the stretch! Now we will get to see these beautiful flowers develop.
The smells 😍! Primarily terpinolene dominant scents extruding from these ladies, some with a strong pinene expression!
One of the plants has a really amazing unique profile, with a terpinolene front and a myrcene dominant/mixture on the back end that produces the stench of body odor particularly armpit sweat!
Hopefully the pictures are clear enough for you all so you can see the trichome production!
Another good week in the books!
Another amazing week continued to slowly defoliate the the lower areas of the canopy!
You can start to see some pretty colors creeping in! Quite a bit of variation in the phenotypes expressed by this Wild Thailand!
This plant has been a pleasure to grow thus far and has not given me any issues... Looking forward to the 💣😤
