Had some extra tents opened and decided to pop a few more beans. This will be 100% organic with my own super soil that I created, soy amino acid, fish amino acid that I made and Roots organics during veg
Was on vacation so I had someone watch it and water it lightly. The genetics on this is already showing it greatness, I'll begin organic nutes next feeding.
Already on node 5 in her 2nd week. Haven't done much except push the nutrients since after vacation but this looks like all genetics and not the nutes. Will probably top her soon at the rate she is going and start training, the plant will only get a 5 week veg period unless I need to go a little longer for the others to catch up. From the looks of it I'll probably have to veg slightly longer based on the other plants rate of growth. This is an organic run as I love how the terps shine when grown organically, there's something about the entire house smelling loud from the time you open the door that gets me going. I took the time to thoroughly clean the tent to avoid any spider mite issues this run and I'm taking every precautionary measure
Healthy looking plant and is growing fast. This is the 3rd week that actually started on 12/7. I removed the bottom leaves and branches that would've formed the first node and topped it at the 5th node. Using lawn spikes to train the branches and I will stretch them out towards the edge and tie it down. This run once again is 100% organic with Roots Organics, this will be my last time using their organic line as I will switch to Advanced Nutrients for my next run to compare nutes.
Doing a lot more leaf tucking this go around and will save the big defoliation for next week before flipping the schedule. Just gonna let her bush out for now and soak up some PAR
Magnesium started to lock out with this plant due to my excessive use of the base grow, would look like a cal mag deficiency but it was a medium Ph issue due to the ammonia in the nutes. Backed off of it and flush and it calmed the issue moving forward. Can't exactly stretch this plant how I'd like too BC the branches are super hard and firm so I cant pull apart any further without risking damage to the plant. Flipping this week
Loving the new nutes and so do the plants, very happy with this switch and in only 1 weeks the plant is showing pre-flowering. Ive never experienced this before so I'm excited for it and a early harvest. Plant is showing no signs of deficiency and has been growing very strong, today I will do some defoliation and remove some of the fan leaves at the top as she got very bushy. Not much room in the tent but her branches are too firm for her to be trained further without risking a branch so I'll leave her as is
She's a VERY sturdy plant and the branches won't budge much if you don't train them early, I've tried pulling them apart to get light but they will snap if I keep pushing it. I removed all the bottom bud sites that wouldn't amount to anything and just feeding her, I may have to transplant to a 7 gallon which I don't want to do but the roots are coming out the bottom of the pot which can be seen in one of the pictures
I did some more training or as much as I can with the space that's left, think the yields will suffer but it can't be any worse than my last run with no training and going light with the feeding. She hasn't given any issues to this point so I don't forsee any coming my way so I'll continue as normal. With the increase in CO2 ive gone up on the feeding to 2.5L, BTW this is my first experience with CO2 and I didn't start with it until In the middle of week 2.
Elevated the plants closer to the light with a milk crate and was able to tie one of the branches to the tent to expose it some more, its now 12" from the light with 2200ppm. This plant is in the front right corner of the tent and isn't getting the best lighting possible but she's coming along and is very frosty already. The fan leaves are starting to change color so the buds should start fattening up soon, in another week I will cut back the CO2 to about 700-800ppm acted week 6
Buds a still forming and looking good. I've cut the co2 going forward and will go wihout for the rest of the grow so the buds can rippen. Buds have a lot of frost so far so that's a great sign for the THC. Plants in the tents out of nowhere have spider mites but this plant didn't have much compared to others. Hopefully the last 3 weeks go by fast
Just been pulling back branches still and training, plant is very frosty and is very resistant to pests. This is the point where I get tired of everything and begin to feed water lol, I'll fight the urge
Life happens and it takes me away from my grow a lot but so be it. I usually check out by week 7 of flower at time but its almost done. Buds are rock hard and smells great, took the picture 3/16/22 will probably cut it down on 3/19 weeks shall see
The last Anesia I grew that was this frosty was Banana Kush and its a classic so I'm hoping for more of the same. Buds are very sense and has a nice smell to it, very curious to see how it smokes as I've only had it from the street dealer back in 2021. The yield could've been better but for 5 plants trained as best as possible in that space I'll take what I get. Will be back with the smoke report in about 2-3 weeks, I do sample it once its dried BUT I rather it cure for a while and give an honest review
So I sampled it after it dried and It had me high for 3+hrs and I couldnt get anything done. It doesn't smoke like the street stuff, it smokes way better. The high is POWERFUL compared to some of Anesia's other strains with more THC, I needed to lie down desperately. Sampled it a few weeks later and it produced the same results the difference was the flavor was straight GAS, you can taste the 42octane on the exhale. This strain is offensive to say the least, the buds are trichrome covered and smells sweet and sticky to the touch. Anesia says its a 50/50 and I'm in no position to call them liars lol, this is something to add to my list of must grow strains from Anesia along with Banana kush, moonrocks and Slurricane.
@JamMAKEcan, if you're interested in doing an organic run you can make your own or you can buy it already premixed. The smoke and flavor is COMPLETELY different especially with cookie strains and lemon terps
@Kekkonen, the spectrum in each light will be different and the cost will vary based on what the company provides. Not all lights come with UV or far red into IR, the may start at blue and end at far red. Some lighting come with a UVA in the spectrum and will add in some far red and IR. The UVA supplement bar adds some light stress if used during veg improve growth and it adds slight stress to the plant protect it self from abiotic stress. Plants get UVA naturally from sunlight when grown outdoors but its not added to all lights (for free). Its also great in increasing trichrome production during flowering as trichrome is a response to UV stress on the plant. The plant will then produce more trichrome that act as a potectant to plant like sunscreen which mean more THC and more oil. This stays on as long as the lights are on fyi, in regards to far red its use at night to put the plants to sleep faster. You will have to research the Emerson Effect, hope this helps.
@Kekkonen, currently its in my 2x2 tent with a ChilLED Growcraft X3 mini 200w in a 5 gallon pot. I think this is all genetics BC I've done nothing to it while some other plants are a little small. I'll move it to the bigger tent once its ready where the spectrum is totally different. Those tents have the same brand light just its either 500 or 330w with supplemental UVA and far red for sleep once the lights are out
