I got 4 of these cuts from a guy I met who has been growing and breeding this sour for a long time. It's a very unique cut, its genetic history is (Karma Sour Diesel Bx2 x Sour Diesel RiRi cut) x (Sour Diesel x Hogs Breath). I had to wait until after he got out of work and he'd kept the cuts in his car in a cooler all day,so these clones aren't looking so hot and they're probably going to look worse before they look better. Hopefully these lil clones recover quickly. I'm using a new light and a new tent. I'm probably only going to veg these things for about a month since I've never grown any strain even similar to this and am not to sure as to what to expect.
The humidity has been extremely low here (dropping to a low of 20%). The humidity isnt where id like it to be, even running a fogger 24/7 it's still barely at what I'd consider acceptable.
There are 3 different phenotypes in this tent 1 of them isn't looking so hot and is cleary showing stress in the form of dark purple stems.
Hopefully the environment gets a bit better and things will start looking better.
This week has been looking good. These plants are growing nicely for the most part and look good. Two of these phenos are definitely nicer looking than the others. The stem purpling on the two phenos that looked pretty bad is easing up.
I added PowerSI and Hyshield into the mix.
I removed the scrog net with 2.5 inch holes because I feel that its done its job. I hung a net above the canopy to help support the plant when that time comes.
These plants have started their stretch. I defoliated a bit, mostly on the interior of the plant.
The humidity is higher than I'd like it to be, I'm going to turn up my Dehu a bit.
Plant is looking good so far.
It's been starting to rain here. I blasted my Dehumidifier for this past week until I got my electricity bill 😯. I'm going to have to cool it on the Dehumidifier for a while and deal with the humidity for a bit. 2 of the plants are noticeably bigger than the other 2. Hopefully this Humidity doesnt get to out of control.
I missed the update last week. Things have been looking good with the humidity being the exception. The humidity has been averaging about 65% due to the wet weather. The weather is supposed to ease up a bit in the next few days.
These plants aren't stretching nearly as much as I thought they would and 2 of the phenos are super puny and I wont yield what I thought I would.
Last week I used a bloom booster called MOAB instead of using Heavy16 fire. I'm right around the half way point hopefully things stay in good shape.
Humidity still sucks, hovering at around 66% this week. I'm trying not to run my dehu too much but I might have to crank it up in the coming week.
Buds are starting to stack, I'm going to hit it with a bloom booster again this coming week.
The smaller phenos are a full 10 inches smaller than the larger ones.
Hoping I can get the RH down a bit.
I can already tell this strain is going to be a pain in the ass to trim.
I forgot to update for a couple weeks. As usual my RH% has been shitty. I also noticed a few mites cruising around I sprayed the shit out of them and haven't seen them since.
I'm thinking the small pheno has about 2 weeks and the larger one has about 3.
I'm going to turn on my Dehu and bring down the RH% these last few weeks.
This room filled out nicely.
One of these phenos is foxtailing like crazy.
On the home stretch.
I look forward to cleaning out this space and starting from scratch.
Flushed for about 5 days before chopping. I'm glad to get this one over with because Sour Diesel isn't very exciting to me, I'm not a big fan of the bud structure and I ran into bugs the last week or so.
I'm really going to have to clean the hell out of this tent to kill the bugs that crept in.
The only reason I grew this is because these cuts are a bit rare and were given to me for free.
I cant wait to get this dried and trimmed so I can start over.
