A couple of days since i put the seeds in the soil, still no germination, but havin high hopes..
The first seed succesfully germinated, the other one is a bit shy..
set up a red/blue growlight in the corner of my room, for the plants. gonna fashion some kind of grow tent/ hidey thing so guests wont see the plants..
been a couple of weeks, forgot to update the grow diary.. everything seems fine, changed the growlight for something better, the old one was very concentrated and made the plants grow in an angle, hence the support i gave them.. one of the plants have developed some bumps on its stem, and som curly leaves, the colour of the leaves seems fine though..
one of my plants have developed some bumbs on its stem, is it anything to worry about? it seems to be growing as well as the other plant which havent shown any sign of the same bumps..
Yeah sorry friend but 40w still isn’t going to do much for you.
You need a light that can push sufficient PPFD/PAR. In an indoor grow your lights are the most important part of the grow. It’s up to you to replicate the sun’s rays for your plants.
A seedling requires around 200-400 PAR.
Veg requires 400-600 PAR.
Flowering requires 600-900 PAR.
Anyway, well best of luck.
went out and bought two new 120w sunlight full spectrum leds, and two lamps so it would be easier to adjust the hight and intensity of the light. hopefully the start of the plants life and sorely lacking light can be fixed by the new lights.
Been a bit distracted by the hollidays, christmas and new year.. forgot to raise the light and two tops got a little bit scorched by the leds. the whole appartment smelled like weed for a week. xD The plant has recovered nicely and it looks like it is starting to flower, lots of pollen things (for a lack of the correct english word) sprouting from what i guess is the buds. started to add the alga bloom fert to the mix. Plant seems to like the extra nutrients.
what i thought was spider mites, was actually two jumping spiders that decided to be my plants bodyguards. added some pictures of them on the plant.
so a while since last update, first plant is really pretty, not a very strong smell at all. some leaves are changing colour, dont know if its normal or if i used too much fert. the other plant im fairly certain i used too much fert. and maybe overwatered a bit. gonna change to plain water and cut back on the waterings to see if it helps.. hopefully its not long before i can harvest.
so i started noticing that some leaves on my plant is changing colour, dont know if its normal since its late in its lifecycle, or if i might have used too much fert..
It looks a bit early for the leaves to change color for end of life. I suspect a bit of a nutrient deficiency, possibly nitrogen. And always check your pH as it can cause nutrient problems.
have been busy moving to a new flat, havent been able to update much, grow yield is just random numbers, but i'd say its a good yield.. think i harvested a little bit early, but its quite powerful. tried smoking it once a week ago, and it kicked pretty hard.. xD
