The Lemon Jeffreys and Alien Rifts are doing well.
The 1 LJ had a flat cola/stem growing (fasciation!), so I removed it. I've had this happen a couple times before and the bud that comes off of these stems is normally not as good and much more prone to mold.
EC 1.25 - Finally did a res change (just over 3 weeks). LJ looks a little overfed, so I am going to hold both reservoirs at 620-640 PPM until they tell me they want more.
PH 5.6-6.1 - PH was in the 6's earlier in the week, now around 5.7-5.9 since the reservoir change
More bad luck with the Jilly Bean Black Cherry's, 2 more males. I think I was 4/4 or 5/5 on picking males. I have a few seeds left, so that strain will get pushed back a bit.
Thanks for stopping by! 🚀🚀👽🍋
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate run of males with your JBCs. Hopefully your remaining seeds will feature some ladies.
That flat stem is wild - like celery. I actually came across an interesting article about this; it looks like fasciation. https://www.cannabisbusinesstimes.com/article/funky-stems-cannabis-fasciation-production/
@StunFlower, oh shit thanks for the article. 1 time I topped a plant where it was fasciated and the other growth wasn't fasciated. If it happens again in the future I'm going to try that.
@StunFlower, Fire OG x Hotcakes from Katsu. Hotcakes is Katsu bubba kush x burnt toast. burnt toast is a bunch of shit lol. I have an apple fritter x hotcakes lined up too, but I think the Fire OG will get popped first.
@StunFlower, ha yea. I knew the seeds were a new batch from the breeder and they looked thick, so I knew there was life in there... just needed a little help. Figured worse case that I would have killed them.
