I really enjoyed growing Sapphire Scout! Even when you mess up a little, SS's are very forgiving. Not a tall strain, which makes it great for not so tall places.😝
Germination = 😁
Seedling + Transplanting = 😁
Cloning = 😐
Training = 😁
Smell/Taste = A very strong diesel with some fruity undertones = 😵
Bud Hardness (Growing+Dry) = 😍+😍
Feminized Seed = 😁
Vaping = Takes your breath away = 😁
Overall = 😁👌
Now that I have a couple of grows under this light, I have to say I do like it! Growing organically, which all I do is add water, I am averaging around one pound from the BP4000.
It does run quite warm and with and extra fan, problem solved!
I like that you can dim the light and I wish there was an actual knob instead of using a screw driver. For that, I remove a star.
So Far, great light for the price! I do recommend!😀👍
Harvest Week! 😎
Well, the girls look good! Their buds got really tight, and the trichomes are turning colour! I thought about it, and I decided to chop Sapphire Scout down... some may say a little early! The Reasoning behind this madness... the girls are an Indica strain, and as much as I love in-da-couch... I'm going to try and balance it with harvesting early... there definitely is amber and cloudy trichs, and a little extra clear ones for the head spins!😅
Sapphire Scout didn't grow very tall... which was expected. They made up for it in thickness with tight buds!😍 I did have some issues the first couple of weeks, which lead me to stop at four arms instead of doing a traditional manifold... 8 arms!💪 I believe that was a wise choice as they flourished from that type of training.
They are sticky... and I mean sticky! Each plant need two clean snips for wet trimming... which I like better then dry trimming. I tried both ways, and in the end, wet trimming seem to dry better and gave it a nicer taste.👈
Can't figure out the smell... hopefully will be able to after drying... or vaping!😀
The two girls grew pretty much the same even though 2 started off smaller then 1... and it showed it at the scales as well! Let's hope for a 1/5 to a 1/4 of it when dry!😜
I'll be back with an update when completely dry... with some extra pics.
Happy Harvesting!👉😎👈
Update: After an eight day dry, Sapphire Scout was ready for the bottles. Their final weight came in @ 182.5 grams... Love it!😍
Burping: 2-3 times daily for the first week, then once daily for the next two weeks, then once a week for a month! That's my plan!👈
