Got this baby as a freebie and I have my 2x2 tent available with a growcraft X3 mini 200w light, seed was germinated in Root Riot. That will be her home for the next 3 months until she's all done around end of February - early March. I've gone back to organic grows for the majority of my runs these days and I'm not too sure if I will transition her to a synthetic regiment or keep her organic. For now its on organic from roots organic with a small dose of grow.
Was on vacation so I had someone watch it and water it lightly hence why its still in the solo. This plant isn't exactly at 2 weeks from germination yet as I started it late compared to the other 4 I have going but she's healthy.
Second week of veg and both sherbets by Barney's Farm (Blue Sunset Sherbet and Orange Sherbet) are apparently going to be bushy plants, so be it. Its currently working on it 5th node and I never count the absolute first node as it sometimes get stunted, with that said I always remove that node.
Topped her and started doing some training. The leaves look very healthy and the plant is growing very indica like. I will keep an eye on its growth and decide if to switch to synthetic nutes
I really pounded the nutes this week by triple the amount, roots organics isn't really giving the NPK away per tablespoon so I decided to up it ALOT and used 3 tablespoons a gallon. The plant responded a lot from the week prior and its looking really green and fluffy. I gained a extra 2 weeks so I'm going to keep it on organic nutes
One of the best freebies ever lol. She's very bushy and has large fan leaves, had to remove the ones from the top to let in sunlight and train the plants fully for the flip. The green is very vibrant on this plant but I am switching to advanced nutrients organic line moving forward it stinks worse than roots organics but it has more provided within their base nutes compared to roots with cal mag, Amino's, etc included. Will flip these plants today.
This plant came along nicely after I considered taking it off organic nutes since it didn't appear to be responding well to it. Loving the new nutes and so do the plants, very happy with this switch and in only 1 weeks the plant is showing pre-flowering. Ive never experienced this before so I'm excited for it and a early harvest. Going to continue defoliating, removing lower bud sites and trying to train more with the limited space available
This was another plant that I almost switched to synthetic because of it growth and I'm pleased with the results so far. Its doing the usual Barney's Farm stretch with the bad node spacing but not all over, this is the price of admission when growing Barney's. The upside is anytime with orange by Barney's typically gives me a headache aroma wise while growing because its super strong.
Did a little super cropping to 2 branches, don't particularly like to do this type of training but I'll break it out (no pun intended) when I need too. Those particular branches won't yeild much but it was bothering me that I needed to train them outward so I just super cropped them. She's grown one more inch and she is VERY frosty, for the first time I haven't had my Barney's Farm strains did not do the typical weird stretching and I appreciate them for cooperating this run. Plant has a citrus smell but not orange heavy like mimosa evil. Hopefully the buds can fill up heavy in the final weeks since the light show with the leaves have started. With the increase in CO2 ive gone up on the feeding to 2.5L, BTW this is my first experience with CO2 and I didn't start with it until In the middle of week 2.
Elevated the plants closer to the light with a milk crate and she's coming along nicely and is very frosty already, She's 12" from the light now with 2200pp. One of the tops is falling over under its weight and its hasnt fully fattened up yet, so thats a first world problem i dont mind having. The fan leaves are starting to change color so the buds should start fattening up soon, in another week I will cut back the CO2 to about 700-800ppm moving forward
She picked up a lot of spider mites out of nowhere when I didn't have any during veg. Did a heavy neem treatment and defoliation so hopefully that will take care of it. Buds are still getting fat and I'll wait to see how it goes in the last 4 weeks.
2 more weeks to go I can see the finish line in sight, ready to chop and cure. Plants got some spider mites, nothing to be alarmed about as I'm used to this by now but it's rather mild this time. Buds have packed on serious weight and are starting to tip over, not going to stake them unless its absolutely necessary
Life happens and it takes me away from my grow a lot but so be it. I usually check out by week 7 of flower at time but its almost done. Buds are rock hard and smells great, took the picture 3/16/22 will probably cut it down on 3/19 weeks shall see. Actually had half a mind to cut it down while I took these pics, buds are heavy and falling over had to hold them up for the pic
Grew this because my shipment of beans didn't arrive in time and it turned out to be a good thing. I'm very happy with how she grew and the production after having a week less veg time than 3 out if the 5 plants. Will be back with the smoke report in about 2-3 weeks, I do sample it once its dried BUT I rather it cure for a while and give an honest review
Don't smoke this if you want or need to be productive as it will lean your ass. Buds smelled very sweet after week 6 and became very top heavy. If you're looking for a calm way to melt away the day this is it, the smoke is very creamy (pause) and sweet. The high comes on slowly and its very calming, didnt get much body buzz but thats OK since the high was very indica. Would I purchase this strain moving forward yes I would to put simply.
Overall with this plant vegging a week shorter it showed fantastic growth from start to finish and it was a freebie that I had no plans on growing. You know you're going to get quality shit when you grow Barney's genetics
@Kloud9gardenz,..i don't think i did.. At the time i wasn't aware there was 2 kinds.. I think mines is full strength.. But i have 2 dogs.. I just dont get carried away with it... But plants use either 1....
