16 Nov 21 - Had to start to new seeds today, got back from vacation and my caretaker let the young ones I had started die. So started germinating in a paper towel today and just waiting for the taproot to show.
Day 0 - The shell was just starting to crack and taproot was starting to poke out so went and moved her into her 3 gallon fabric pot and put her in the tent. I’ll keep the clear plastic top over her for a bit to keep the humidity up and I’ll start day 1 when she’s standing up through the soil. First full run with the ViparSpectra P2000 so looking forward to running this thing and thank you to them for trusting me to run their lights. Starting my three little ones off at 50% intensity and will go from there.
Day 1 - We have life! She finally popped through the soil today so I’ll officially start counting her days. Gave her a light foliar spray with FOOP Mist and put her cover over her for a bit higher humidity (cut the bottom off a 2 liter bottle).
Day 2 - All going well and looking nice and healthy and not much to speak of these early weeks. Gave her a foliar spray and put the cover back over her.
Day 3 - Nothing new to report on today, early boring stages. Gave her her daily foliar spray before her bedtime and out her humidity cap back over her.
Day 5 - All going well and nothing much to update, still very early in her growth. Gave her a foliar spray and put her cover back on.
Day 9 - Into week 2 and haven’t updated in a few days due her just getting started and not much happening. I did give her about 100ML’s of water and veg nutes about 2 inches around her base, then put her cover back on her and letting her be. She does have a little bit of twisting leaves but I’m sure she’ll grow out of it.
Day 10 - She was getting a bit stretchy so figured it was time to add a bit more soil to the pot and is filled pretty much to the top now. Other than that, I gave her a foliar spray and put her cover back on. Looks like her twisted leaves are starting to straighten out a bit too.
Day 11 - All still going well and still not much to speak of, getting a little bit more growth going on but not much else happening. Gave her another 100ML’s of water and nutes today and put her cover back on.
Day 12 - Another day and another update where not much is happening. Pretty much just gave her a look and her foliar spray and moved her back into the tent.
Day 14 - The end of week 2 and all still going well. I’m following FOOPCanna’s schedule and upped the nutes a bit this week but still have her about 100-150ML’s of water. Put her cover back on and back in the tent.
Day 15 - Starting week 3 today and she’s looking good after getting a watering with more nutes yesterday. I just took her out today to look her over and then put her back into the tent. I left her cover off for right now, want to make sure they get a couple hours of fresh air before putting the humidity cover back on for the night.
Day 16 - Not much to speak of today other than this girl looks like she’s gonna be a freak with her different growth going on. I’ve noticed past growths like this, turned out to be some of the best stuff I’ve grown. Gave her a foliar spray and put her humidity cover back on.
Day 17 - Still moving along and nothing much new today. Gonna give her a bit of water and nutes tomorrow and just continued with the foliar spray today.
Day 18 - Another day and not much to speak of but I am hoping I’ll be able to start some LST within the next week or so. I’m normally starting between now and day 21 but I started counting the days from the day she was out in the pot and not when her first set of leaves appeared so hoping to start no later than day 28. Gave her a bit of water and nutes tonight as well.
Day 19 - Had to add a little bit more soil to the pot today and it should be good now. She was getting a bit lengthy and her stem was a bit flimsy. Gave her a foliar spray and put her back in the tent.
Day 22 - Starting week 4 today and she got a good amount of growth, so went ahead and started LST today, we’ll see how she recovers. She needed some water so gave her some with nutes and all is looking well, other than she’s definitely a little deformed.
Day 23 - Recovered from training nicely and gonna give her a couple days of vertical stretching then start tying her down again. Should be able to start getting to some lower growth soon. All is good on water but drinking the little I gave her yesterday pretty quickly so should be ready for a bit more soon.
Day 24 - Tied her main stem over again but not a lot of room to work with but want to get the lower growth some more light. Hoping to get a bit more vertical growth after giving her some water and nutes tonight. Nothing much else happening, just waiting for her lower stuff to start going so I can get them tied out.
Day 25 - Nothing to speak of today but I did remove the two top fan leaves that are in the way and tied her back down. Keeping a nice and low profile with this girl.
Day 27 - Did a little more LST with this girl today and she was ready for some water and nutes. Upped her water intake and got the entire pot of soil wet today. Hopefully now she’ll really start stretching.
Day 28 - The end of week 4 and did a bit of adjusting and training today. She’s starting to spread out nicely and should be set up nicely once she starts to flower.
Day 29 - Starting week 5 and did some more training with her today and she’s definitely starting to shape up. I brought the foliar sprays down to once a week now and she got one tonight. Should be ready for water either tomorrow or the next day.
Day 30 - Nothing much to speak of today but she’ll be getting some water and nutes tomorrow.
Day 31 - Did some more adjusting to her tie downs today and added a couple more. She’s really starting to spread out nicely now so will continue to adjust her as needed. She was ready for water so gave her about a third of a gallon of water and nutes.
Day 33 - Did some more adjusting today and gave her a nice foliar spray. Nothing much happening other than working on the LST and trying to get her set up for flower.
Day 35 - The end of week 5 today and did some more LST and readjusting. Other than that, all looks good and I’ll be giving her some fresh water and nutes tomorrow.
Day 36 - Starting week 6 and gave her about a third of a gallon of water and nutes today, she was getting pretty dry. Other than that, just doing some daily adjustments to the pipe cleaners and trying to keep her spread out.
Day 37 - Did a light defoliating with her today and did some more adjustments to the pipe cleaners. All looks good with her but wanted to do a check of the soil pH and it’s sitting right at 6.6 so all looks good for her going into flower. She’s starting to throw out some pistils so should be coming soon.
Day 39 - Did a little more adjusting to the pipe cleaners today and removed a couple of fan leaves. She should be about ready for water tomorrow or the next day.
Day 41 - She was ready for some water today so upped her intake and gave her a full gallon with veg nutes. Did some small adjusting to the pipe cleaners as well.
Day 42 - The end of week 6 and no real issues or deficiencies right now, hopefully she’ll stay this healthy throughout her grow. Did a light defoliating, to try and open up the middle sites a bit more.
Day 43 - Starting week 7 today and did another very light defoliation with her. She’s really nice and green and looking healthy, just waiting for her to really start to flower and take off. It’s looking like this is gonna end up being a big girl.
Day 44 - Nothing much new today, just took her out to see if she was ready for water and did some leaf tucking when I put her back in the tent. She should be ready for water and nutes tomorrow.
Day 45 - Gave her a half gallon of water and her first round of bloom nutes today. Did a little leaf tucking with her and that’s about it, nothing much else happening at the moment.
Day 47 - Nothin grew going on today, just took her out for some updated pictures. Might do a little defoliating tomorrow.
Day 48 - Another day and not much to update today. Removed a few bigger fan leaves and that’s about it. She’s getting close to needing some water so will probably give her a feeding tomorrow.
Day 49 - The end of week 7 and gave her about two thirds a gallon of water and nutes today. She definitely needs to be defoliated quite a bit so gonna start tomorrow but doing just a little each day till I’ve got her when I’d like her.
Day 50 - Starting week 8 and this is the first full week of flower. All looks good after her feeding yesterday and I’m still debating on defoliating. Seems like every time I do, it stunts them a bit. So I may just let her go and continue just tucking her leaves everyday.
Day 51 - Nothing much to report today other than I lowered the light and it’s now at the recommended maximum distance of 18”. I’ll give her 24 hours like that and if she likes it, I’ll gradually go closer to 14” to try and find the distance that’s perfect for her to flower.
Day 52 - She was ready for water today so upped the intake since she’s going through it pretty quick so she got a full gallon plus nutes today. Did some leaf tucking with her as well.
Day 53 - All good after the heavier watering and feed yesterday. Not much else happening today, just got some updated pics and did some leaf tucking.
Day 55 - Nothing new today other than she going to need some water and nutes tomorrow. Just did some leaf tucking when I put her back in the tent and that’s about it right now.
Day 56 - The end of week 8 today and gave her a gallon of water and FOOP nutes. Went ahead and did a bit of defoliating today as well. Didn’t do a big one but just removed most of the bigger leaves on top and she’s a bit more opened up now. I’ll probably give her a few days then remove a few more.
Day 57 - Starting week 9 today and did a little more defoliating with her. She still seems to be stretching about 1/2-3/4” every 24 hours. Hopefully she’s almost finished stretching and then can really focus on producing buds.
Day 58 - Nothing major to update other than removing a few more fan leaves that were in the way. Good on water for another couple of days.
Day 59 - She was actually ready for water today so she got a gallon with FOOP nutes, pH’d to 6.6. Other than that, I’m enjoying watching her buds start stacking.
Day 62 - Nothing much today, checked her for water and she’ll be ready for some plus nutes. Just continued with the leaf tucking and that’s about it.
Day 63 - The end of week 9 and still not quite ready for water so I’ll give her another day or so and see. I did raise the lights up a couple inches, looks like she’s getting a bit of light burn so we’ll see if that helps. Other than that, watching her stack up and did some leaf tucking.
Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and she finally got a gallon of water and nutes. I did remove a couple dying/dead leaves from down low and just tucked the rest. Other than that, nothing much new going on.
Day 65 - Just daily updated pictures, nothing happening at the moment.
Day 66 - Just some updated pics today, should be needing water in another day or two.
Day 67 - Another day and not much going on. Just removed a few dying leaves from the bottom and tucked the rest. She’s still got a good couple days before needing water.
Day 70 - The end of week 10 and she was ready for water today and she’s really yellowing up, so not sure what’s going on. The pH is good and everything else looks good so maybe she’s just in her last couple of weeks. I’ll keep her going as long as buds keep fattening and trichs still clear.
Day 71 - Starting week 11 and think I’m starting to lose this one, she’s yellowing up pretty damn quick. She doesn’t look anywhere near done but looking at her trichs, it looks like she’s pretty close. Mostly milky with about 5% clear. I think I had the same thing from The Fog when I grew it so I’m gonna just let her go and see what happens.
Day 73 - She looks nowhere near ready but leaves are all yellow and trichs actually are all milky. Definitely not gonna be a huge harvest but gonna try and see if she’ll make it another week and see what happens. A lot of mistakes with not catching deficiencies and such and didn’t even notice I was out and not using any Cal-Mag, which I’m sure hurt her quite a bit. I thought just using the FOOP lineup would be all she needed but you live and learn I guess. Got a new bottle of CM so that will be used every watering for future grows.
Day 74 - Nothing new but pictures today, just trying to get her to last another week or so that way I can get a little amber in her. Surprisingly she looks nowhere near done but trichs are saying otherwise.
Day 76 - She’s just about done and will be getting chopped soon. Gonna try and stretch her out and see if she can make it till next weekend, easier to chop and trim on the weekends. Gave her a gallon of water with Cal-Mag today, too late to help her but gave her some anyway.
Day 77 - The end of week 11 and just about the end of her. Going to give her one more plain water watering tomorrow and when she’s dried out, I’ll chop her. She’s gonna be a real fluffy girl but it’s more meds so not gonna complain.
Day 78 - Starting week 12 and her final week. Plan on giving her another round of water tomorrow and then when she dries out, I’ll give her the chop.
Day 79 - Giving her one more day before giving her the last feeding of water. Gonna try an ice cold bath for the final drink and then probably chop her Friday or Saturday.
Day 80 - Gave her a the last watering tonight and did some ice cold water so we’ll see how it works out for her. Other than that, just some updated pictures and she’ll be getting cut down on Friday or Saturday, when she’s dried out.
Day 81 - All still on track to chop tomorrow or Saturday. Just want her to dry up now after watering yesterday and she’ll be done.
12 Feb 22 - Will update with an actual smoke report after she’s dried and cured a bit. I am noticing a strong smell of cherry with a hint of gas coming from her so definitely one I’m looking forward to trying.
12 Feb 22 - Over pretty good grow with this girl but probably could of gotten a lot more out of her had I actually did something about the deficiencies early on. She was definitely needing some cal-mag throughout her grow and I was out and did nothing about it. Got a brand new bottle now so shouldn’t be an issue in the future.
