I chose this variety thinking about its triple diesel cross, and I thought that a cross of sister genetics would define the phenotype very well (Double Strawberry Diesel x Casey Jones Reversed (S1). But when I later found the family tree, I came across a true poly hybrid: https://es.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Double_Strawberry_Diesel_Jones/Connoisseur_Genetics/ The producer announces great yields, a flowering time of 8-10 weeks, and aromas and flavors of diesel, pine, strawberries, and earth. It's most likely sativa dominant, but hey, let nature decide... I put the seed directly into the moist substrate, it popped up after 48 hours, and three weeks later it looks like you can see in the latest photos. The stem can't support it, it's frozen, the growth has been minimal, I keep it upright thanks to a cardboard support, I take it from the grow tents to the light of the windows and it resists growing!! I suppose the low temperatures have something to do with this... well, for now it doesn't take up space or much time. I will only progress in this diary when the seedling can stand upright on its own. And nothing more... I transplanted it today into an old-school 5.5L pot with homemade aeration; it barely had a root ball, but I hope it gradually fills the new pot with roots. Anyway, growing so slowly has given me a breather with the space in my grow tents, which are packed! 🤷‍♀️ Well, the seedling has a good home and is going to have good food; now it's all in its genetics... There’s barely any progress, it’s clear to me that the root system isn’t expanding, the little vigor of this strain makes me think that maybe the seeds were old. Today I started with foliar nutrient applications, if the seedling can’t metabolize enough through the roots, let it do so through the leaves or die!! ‍♂️ I’ve prepared a mix with various components that I’ll use daily during the upcoming week, the results should be evident within a week, I hope to save this plant, plus it will serve as a test bed regarding foliar nutrition. THE MIX: Distilled water, 1% animal protein amino acids (immediate availability), auxin and NP nutrient lacto-ferment at 1%, multi-fruit NPK lacto-ferment at 2%, and Ormus at 1.5% to regulate the pH of the mix to 6.6. All for the cause!! 👈🧙‍♂️👍 Ninth week of life for this lazy strain!! Little by little this week, the seedling has been getting stronger, I care for it with nutritious foliar applications, as if it were a baby bird that fell from the nest, helpless and vulnerable... without a doubt the seedling is responding positively! 🌱👍 Yesterday I did the second watering after transplanting, Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) with nutrients, Amino acids for energy, Auxins to promote rooting and redirect energy to the side branches after the apical cut, above the fourth node, which I also did yesterday, and a bit of Ormus to regulate the pH of the mix and provide Ca and Mg. For now, the small size of the plant and pot has helped me, so far, to place it in any corner of my saturated tents, I hope it doesn't get too out of control until there's a real space for it. I keep the seedling under artificial light for 10 hours and the rest of the day in the December sun, practically 18h of light. Today I added Mulch to the pot, I prepared a mix of dry matter with leftovers from defoliations and prunings, stems and branches, dry straw, and wood chips washed outdoors for a year, I'm preparing the house for Microbiology, an ideal ecosystem where there's moisture and food for the Microorganisms to work hard and give the plant everything it asks for, with the addition of molasses, which I do with each watering, I give them energy to go crazy with happiness!! The practice of maintaining a dry matter Mulch is aimed at feeding the substrate, the resulting plant is a reflection of its soil. We continue next year, all the best for you and yours... This week I haven't watered; I prefer to keep less moisture in the substrate and more oxygen to facilitate root mobility. The strain shows a tendency for compact growth with short internodes, which I like. I'm 2-4 weeks away from starting to harvest other crops and having real space for this plant. My intention is to maintain only one grow tent; I currently have three, until spring with one plant in a large pot and maybe two more plants in small pots (6l) to make the most of the lights. If this plant continues strong, I might transplant it later to grow it in the large pot. I'm going to push as much as I can with the current 5.5l pot and see what happens; if not, plan B is to germinate 3 indica seeds with short flowering periods and choose the one that shows the most vigor for the large pot!! Upon seeing the first signs, I sprayed the leaves with clean water to wash away the remnants of the mix. Two days later, the affected leaves continued to show damage, but the new leaves are growing normally. I've done a defoliation of all the marked leaves; it seems like this plant has to suffer from time to time since the beginning of its life, but I'm going to trust it. Above all, I'm going to give it time to recover and progress. I'm sure it will be a good plant. I've done the second watering after the transplant to strengthen the crop after the shock. I remember that this grow is actually 12 weeks old; the seedling struggled to take off from the moment of germination and spent over 4 weeks with hardly any growth, showing weakness... it's actually a lazy one! 🤷‍♀️ Well, I managed to activate it a few weeks ago with foliar applications, and this week I've repeated that formula, doing foliar applications twice a day. The results are evident; the plant is progressing, forming its leaf mass, and the ties are already hinting at an interesting and productive shape, all despite the fact that I’m in favor of minimal intervention in the plants... but I confess I’m a sinner! 🙋‍♂️😄 And to make sure the plant doesn’t forget who’s in charge, this week I’ve started bending it with multiple ties to the branches after doing an apical cut on all of them. 😎 This grow is going to be left alone, as I expect to harvest all the other grows this week, so I’m going to take my time. If everything continues as it has been, I plan to transplant it to a really big pot, with my best grow tent just for it, as soon as I see roots appearing at the base of the current pot, I’ll make the transplant to a larger one! deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 The cultivation is progressing, the trust I placed in this plant is being rewarded, this week a deep watering and foliar applications every 12 hours, the plant shows great strengthening of the stem and branches, the ties I started last week are forming a nice well-structured plant. The truth is that the plant started needing time due to its extreme weakness, it came out of the trance after 4 weeks and it was thanks to foliar applications with a mix of my enzymatic hydrolysate of animal-origin amino acids, auxin lacto-ferment, multi-fruit lacto-ferment with minerals, and Ormus. The positive reaction was immediate, and in the meantime, I took the opportunity to experiment with apical cuts on all branches after the fourth node, and then I got rid of the first two branches, periodically tightening the ties. This week's watering has been the second since the transplant, aimed at strengthening the plant, promoting root mobility, inoculating Mountain Microorganisms (MM), and feeding the soil. I have quite a few formulas made, of bio-ferments, lacto-ferments, and hydrolysates, and more and more, I am making Bio and lacto-ferments with specific nutrients or minerals, all my preparations are compatible with each other, which allows me, as in this case, to make a mix that covers all the needs I want. In the mix, I have mainly provided strength and energy with Amino Acids and my Leonardite hydrolysate with Phosphites (Humate FK), the hormonal energy for the multiple apices, the strengthening of the branches, and the expansion of the roots I promote with my auxin and mineral lacto-ferment (NP). For the massive inoculation of Microorganisms, I have used my basic formula, where I have the highest concentration of microbiology (MMA Basic), and to give propagation energy to the microbiology, I have used artisan honey which, besides free sugars, contains a multitude of enzymes that will greatly help in the decomposition of organic matter. The truth is that all the components separately enhance the microbiology... before watering, I made the first application of solid amendments, I want to make three throughout the cultivation, this is the part of feeding the soil... the mix is the same I made for my previous cultivations, but this time I want to make at least three applications throughout the cultivation, previously I made two. A part of mulch collected from the surface of previous cultivations, this is humified material loaded with microbiology obtained from the decomposition of the organic matter of the mulch by the microorganisms, a part of mature bokashi from algae and another part with the mix of all the dry amendments I have on hand. Excellent food for the microorganisms that work happily and tirelessly with the varied food I give them, they will dissolve and mineralize this organic matter, and in symbiosis with the roots, they will provide the nutrients and minerals that they need at each moment. I add this mix under the mulch and rake it in, adding 6g per liter of soil. Finally, this cultivation has been left alone, although for now, and for a few days, it is accompanied by another crop at harvest point. In the meantime, I have 3 seeds germinating that will make the journey with this strain. I will wait for the seeds I have now germinating, two of which have failed and I have replaced them with others, to reach the flowering stage, and at that moment, it will also go into flowering. So it still has 4-5 weeks of vegetative growth ahead and I will transplant it earlier to a 15l fabric pot, my largest pot so far. I want to grow a big plant, the advantage is that I will grow the new seedlings and this one in a single grow tent. I will play much more with light spectrums and give these 4 plants more light intensity than the previous crops. I’ve decided to change pots for this plant, even though it had been a few days with curled leaves and shoots, probably due to applying too many amino acids via foliar, I was giving two applications daily. After two very light deep waterings with Microorganisms and observing the significant increase in water consumption, I decided to put it in my largest pot so far, a 15-liter fabric pot, because I’m going to extend the vegetative growth even more, at least until the 3 seedlings I have on the way reach the flowering stage, so it has at least 4-5 more weeks left. Two days after the transplant, the leaves and shoots have returned to their normal position, the plant has widened and grown, fantastic! There are still some shadowy spots on some leaves, a result of indigestion! I’m growing this plant with 12 hours of indoor light and currently, 9 hours of outdoor light. This week, two deep waterings with different bio-fermented Mountain Activated Microorganisms (MMA), one before the transplant and the other 48 hours after being in the new pot... I’m going to stop experimenting with this plant, as I believe it deserves it. It was born with extreme weakness and took more than 5 weeks to react. I subjected it to numerous apical cuts afterward, tortured it with ties, and almost killed it with very concentrated foliar applications, but still, the plant has endured and shows high metabolism, so the goal for the coming weeks will be to promote root expansion throughout the pot before moving to flowering. As I mentioned before, this 15L pot is the largest I’ve used so far, and I see it as huge!! I want to try the effectiveness of growing in larger pots than usual (6-7 L) and with higher light intensity this growing season, as I’m going to grow only 4 plants in a single grow tent, increasing wattage of light, which I’m going to save by not using my other two grow tents and managing different color spectrums throughout the grow! For now, I have this plant with the VE P1000 lamp at 60% (60w), and it will stay that way until the 3 seedlings accompanying it can receive more light! In the end, I rummaged through my pot storage and found a brand new 12L fabric pot. The second will be an 11L air-pot and the third will be an old school 11L square pot with lateral aeration. Analyzing the roots of my last harvested plants, where I’ve grown in fabric pots, old school, and air-pot, I’ve seen that the profuse root development on the sides of the pots is better in the air-pot and the old-school pots. The fabric pots show oxidized roots on the sides; I think the fabric walls need to be kept moist to better promote roots towards the sides. This season, I started using a layering technique for watering air-pot pots, where I’ve always had the problem of early watering leakage through the side holes, and it has gone very well. I’ve seen healthy root development in all the cones of the pot and clustering of microorganisms as well, due to the oxygenation provided by the holes. In the old school pot with lateral aeration, the same thing happened; in this case, the sides were completely populated with roots, and the mycelium of microorganisms surrounded each hole. The soil mix is the same as I’ve done in previous grows: Light substrate based on peat: 4 parts. Medium-low density substrate: 3 parts. Dense soil: 2 parts. Coconut fiber: 2 parts. Worm humus: 1.5 parts. Aged bokashi with algae: 1.5 parts. Perlite: 1.5 parts. Vermiculite: 1/2 part. The plant has widened, reflecting the expansion of the roots, the leaves are growing and sprouting everywhere, the branches neatly tied down are establishing themselves and taking over the canopy, each with its own space!! My main interest, before moving to flowering, is the expansion of the roots throughout the pot. This week, a deep watering, just with pure water, to encourage the roots to seek nutrients through the substrate and reach everywhere in that search. I will continue with alternating waterings of pure spring water and water with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA). When flowering arrives, I will switch to providing soluble organic nutrition. I like the idea of extending a plant's life; it's great company and offers many more growth possibilities for the crop, of course, as long as this doesn't lead to an increase in electricity consumption. In my case, I’m using the same light that illuminates my new seedlings for this one to grow. I'm also taking advantage of outdoor light hours, where each day is a little longer than the last, where the sun's rays are gaining strength, and where the sun's angle favors me as the weeks go by... deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be one!🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 Three weeks since transplanting, more defoliation to improve light entry and the last week of vegetative growth, today I changed the schedule to 13/11h, with support, to accelerate the transition to flowering, using a 10w LED bulb at 730nm that I turn on 20 minutes before turning off the lights, until 20 minutes after they are off. I’ve prepared my largest grow tent (70x70x160cm), cleaning and disinfecting it carefully, to house the four plants of the season. I was thinking of keeping this plant in vegetative growth while waiting for the other 3 seedlings that are currently 4 weeks old, but they are growing very slowly and the current plant is getting too big. I wanted to wait to gradually apply some lights with specific spectra for growth (9500K, 7700K, 6400K, 450nm...) with the idea of compacting the new crops as much as possible. Now, by moving this plant to flowering in the same grow tent as the seedlings, I am forced to change the lighting method for these crops. I’m going to focus all the light intensity on the canopy with versatile spectrum lamps and will do without side lights this time. At the beginning of the week, the plant was showing symptoms of Ca and Mg deficiency, with rusty spots on the leaves, thin shoots, etc. I prepared some dry amendments with 5 components: Dried blood (N Fe), Bone meal (Ca, F...), Epsom salt (Mg), Dolomite (Ca), and Azomite. I also made a complex watering mix with: Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) with minerals and nutrients, enzymatic hydrolysate of protein seeds (amino acids), auxin and mineral lacto ferment, molasses, and Ormus (Mg, Ca...). I repeated a similar mix 4 days later... the plant has fully recovered, and now it’s growing wildly and healthily! Brutal growth this week, 12 cm in height and a very dense and healthy leaf mass. Looking from above, I see up to 40 well-exposed and leveled buds to the canopy light. Since I put the canopy light at full power and close to the plant, the progress has been very evident and continuous. I do periodic defoliations to improve light entry, trying to maintain most of the leaf mass for very efficient photosynthesis. This week I also added two side LED panels of 36w and 30x30cm each; I turn them on and off sequentially every half hour. One of the panels has blue light at 450nm, and the other has a color spectrum of 3000k + 660nm diodes. As the 3 seedlings sharing the grow tent grow, I will increase the lights in the canopy. Two gentle waterings this week, the first one very special, for this last stage of vegetative growth, a mix of watering with pure Honey (enzymes, minerals, and free sugars), Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA), Coconut water (sugars, vitamins, proteins, amino acids, minerals (Ca, Fe, P, Mg), cytokinins that promote cell division and growth, and gibberellic acid that stimulates root growth) and a bit of ormus to regulate the pH. At the same time, I made a small and specific contribution of solid amendments: homemade auxins in powder (which work together with the cytokinins and gibberellic acid contained in the coconut water). This is the last application of this kind of components because from the flowering stage on, the plant will no longer need them, and finally, dehydrated potassium humate (humic acids, K, and organic matter). Three days later, I did another gentle but deep watering with Honey and Activated Mountain Microorganisms in liquid form with nutrients and minerals... let the microbial party continue!!💃🤸‍♂️😁 Despite the ongoing growth issues in the first 6-7 weeks of life, which were aggravated by uncontrolled foliar applications, with patience and time, it is now a monstrous and beautiful plant. The cost of maintaining the crop for so many weeks hasn't been a problem either, as I took advantage of the gaps in the advanced grow tents, and this way, I haven't needed to dedicate lights just for this plant. Now she is the adult plant, and her companions are 3 seedlings that grow illuminated with 10 hours of indoor light and 10 hours of outdoor light. Two days ago, I tied and bent several of the tallest branches to even out the canopy. Since the time change two weeks ago, all the waterings have been light in concentration and practically without nutrients, just inoculating with Mountain Microorganisms (MM). I believe that the big hormonal change that comes with the transition to flowering needs a break from nutrients, at least the soluble ones. Four days ago, I did add some dry amendments to the substrate, a total of 20g divided equally: Epsom salt (Mg), dried blood (N, Fe, K), ground eggshell (Ca), palm ash (Ca, Si, K...) and chlorella algae (Fe, minerals). Yesterday, some signs of deficiencies became more evident, mainly potassium; also, some leaves began to show discoloration from back to front, a sign of iron deficiency or chlorophyll formation. The nutritional needs of this plant are enormous due to its large size and the intensity of the lights. I prepared a watering mix with my potassium hydrolysate from leonardite with inorganic phosphorus (Humate PK), a bit of my mineral and nutrient lacto-ferment with Efficient Microorganisms (MMA, BAL, AL...), Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA), and molasses. Then I did a foliar application with nettle tea to promote chlorophyll creation and correct the iron chlorosis that was starting to appear... 24 hours after the application, the results are starting to show!! I continue to do strategic defoliations to improve light entry to the center of the plant. Additionally, I've set the two side LED panels to 100% power and replaced one of them with 450nm diodes, with another one having a color temperature of 3000K plus 660nm diodes. With plenty of light, I trust I will fill the countless branches of this plant with good and large buds. deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 Third week since the transition to flowering, summer days, the plant has continued to stretch, the budding floral shoots are evident everywhere! Water consumption increases day by day, I water deeply every 3 days, the plant needs a lot of water pressure to maintain its large structure. I continue to do some strategic defoliations to improve light penetration in the center of the plant, because the leaf mass is very thick, which on the other hand favors photosynthesis and metabolism. It really is a privilege for this plant to be practically alone; the attention and care are greater and better, and in the end, it shows in the harvest. A week ago, I started with more concentrated watering mixes, I have begun to use my leonardite hydrolysate with PK, I won’t stop using it until the end. In addition, all my waterings include Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) to accelerate the decomposition and mineralization of the organic matter in the substrate and the dry amendments that I added this week, a mix in equal parts of mulch from previous crops, aged bokashi with seaweed, and various nutrients and minerals (everything I had at home 🤷‍♂️), about 5g of the mix per liter of soil. I also added dry matter to the mulch. Yesterday, I also made a watering mix where I included my amino acids from animal protein obtained through enzymatic hydrolysis, an extra energy boost to help in this crucial stage of flower formation. I believe that the coming weeks are very important to maximize flower formation, and after the first two weeks of the transition to flowering, where the waterings were gentle to not hinder the deep hormonal change that comes with the transition to flowering, now, I’m going to apply 3 waterings with concentrated and varied nutrients, but specific for flowering, and one with pure water. In the grow tent, this plant occupies just half of the tent and takes 100% of the light from the Mars TS1000 lamp, also supported by two opposing side panels of 3000K and 660nm. In the other half of the tent, I keep 3 smaller plants; until now, they were benefiting from the side light of the Mars TS1000 lamp, but a few days ago I turned it on to 40% and right above these plants is the Vipar P1000 lamp. The idea is to raise it to 100% power starting next week; the days are getting longer, and with the time change next Sunday, the first rays of sun will come through my windows from 7:30 in the morning until 3:00 PM. So when sunny days are forecasted, I’m going to have the plants in the grow tent for 8 hours with all the light intensity I can. Currently, I have 248w illuminating; I want to reach 500w when all the plants are in full bloom. The growing concept for this season is to grow fewer plants in larger pots than usual for me and with greater light intensity, unlike the previous season, where I grew double the plants with much less light intensity. The comparison of the final data will tell which method is more productive. The truth is that the multiple apical prunings I did on several branches have caused this plant's branching to reach exaggerated levels! Two waterings with pure water at the beginning of the week and a third with potassium humate from leonardite with phosphorus and Activated Mountain Microorganisms with algae. In the coming weeks, I'm going to boost bud fattening with concentrated waterings of specific nutrients for flowering and a lot of light. deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 Fifth week since the switch to flowering, the plant has stopped vertical growth... let the flower party begin! 😋🌸 Cloudy days have continued for most of the week, the plant hasn't left its grow tent, only in the last two days has it been able to soak up the sun for 1.5 hours. I'm fully convinced that these rays of sunshine are the ideal complement after a night with artificial light. If the days improve, I’ll be able to increase this crop's exposure to sunlight and others. The plant is starting to cannibalize the larger leaves, a natural exercise of self-defoliation. These leaves are yellowing and generously giving their nutrients to the next generation of leaves and flowers. This week has also included concentrated watering to boost flower formation, with a good response from the floral buds, which are now taking the spotlight over the leaf mass. Two days ago, I started to notice leaves showing signs of Mg deficiency, despite having watered deeply the day before. I prepared a watering solution with Ormus (Mg, Ca, S...), lacto-fermented animal meals (Ca, N, P...) with Effective Microorganisms (EM) and a bit of amino acids for energy. In the soil, I added a mix (1g/l) of Dolomite (Ca, Mg), Epsom salts (Mg), ground eggshell (Ca), and palm ash (Ca, K...). Today, the plant stands proud and powerful! 👍 Without a doubt, there are still quite a few weeks ahead, and I don't want to lose the leaf mass too quickly, which, although it prevents optimal light from entering the center of the plant, is becoming less of an issue. I'm betting on holding onto it a bit longer... long live photosynthesis!! This week, I’ve been increasing the power of the Vipar P1000 canopy light to 100%. I have this light right above three other plants that are in the vegetative stage, and above this crop, I have the Mars TS1000 light. Two deep waterings this week, and a dry amendment added to the substrate, to keep this girl happy and lacking nothing. The plant maintains a high water consumption, especially these days as temperatures have risen; I like that the plant mobilizes a lot of water. Today, I'm going to do a deep watering with a Bio fermented Mountain Activated Microorganisms (MMA) with Phosphorus and Potassium (PK), which I'm trying out today, a special formula for flowering that I made on January 4, 2022, and has been in anaerobic fermentation until today, complemented with any of my other flowering preparations. By adding this new formula, I enhance the diversity of sources of macro and micronutrients: Humate PK, Humate FK, and multi-fruit Lacto ferment with PK. As a major update for the grow, this week I changed tents and got rid of two small tents I still had. From now on, I’m focusing my efforts and lights solely on the new grow tent, Secret Jardin DS120w (60x120x178cm). I’m pleasantly impressed with the quality of the tent and the number of accessories that come with it. I especially liked being able to choose the locations for air extraction and intake, as well as the cable hole; now there’s no hole left unused. I also liked the height-adjustable bars in the middle of the tent, which allow me to hang panels and organize the cables on their way to the cable hole, and they also prevent the tent fabric from bowing too much inward when the extractor is running. This grow tent is not sponsored.😄👍 With this grow tent, I’m going to grow as many plants as I can fit, regardless of the growth stage each one is in. In no case will the grow tent have the lights on for more than 13 hours. The plants in vegetative growth will be taken outside to complete their light cycle of 18-20 hours. The plants that are flowering will sleep in the tent after their light cycle; if the days are sunny, the flowering plants can get up to 3 hours of direct sunlight, so on those days, the tent lights will run for 10 or 11 hours. To equalize heights among plants concerning the canopy lights, I’m putting the shorter plants on pedestals... All for the cause!!🙋‍♂️😄🌲🌞💡 New tent with more lights!!💡💡💡 Currently, I have one flowering plant that is double or triple the height of the other 3 plants in vegetative growth. Both lamps are designed to be used in all stages of growth, but for me, more red spectra are needed during flowering. Additionally, the side light from the Vipar lamp illuminates the fourth side of this plant, so I have light from the canopy and all four sides illuminated... more light, more mass!! This week three waterings with varied mixes, a lot of Activated Mountain Microorganism (MMA), increased macronutrients PK and bio-stimulants based on algae and fruits... let's go, my girl!💃 I’ve cut more than a dozen lower branches that promised little, stealing energy and obstructing light entry. I’ve lowered the light schedule; until now I was growing at 13/11h, but with the addition of two new plants to flowering, I’ve set it to 12/12h, at least until these two plants start pre-flowering. After that, I hope the weather improves and sunny days come, then I hope to give my plants at least 2-3 hours of direct sunlight, so I can also use the artificial lights for only 9-10h. I’ve compensated for this one-hour reduction in light by adding a new lamp to the tent, this time a 50w COB with a color spectrum of 2800K and a 90° lens, placed laterally, on the side where I have the Vipar P1000 lamp. This way I achieve several things: greater brightness and penetration over the two plants right under the Vipar, increases the side light on the main plant, which is the one in this grow diary, and above all, I add reds for flowering, to compensate for the overly white average color spectrum of the Vipar lamp (3500/4000K), in my opinion, for powerful flowering... For this, I weigh all the pots once a day and keep track of water consumption and watering on an Excel sheet. The plant helps a lot, gradually consuming the older leaves, capturing the last minerals that these leaves generously leave behind, and also freeing up more space for light to reach the center of the plant. I’ve continued trimming lower branches that didn’t promise anything. I keep feeding the plant with every watering, I think it’s suitable to maximize the buds, controlling the concentration of my soluble mixes I don’t run the risk of over-fertilization. Anyway, in these last weeks I base my watering mixes on phosphorus and potassium contributions, humic acids, and Activated Mountain Microorganisms (AMM). White pistils crown all the floral buds, the trichomes shine in the sun!! Today, finally, it's sunny after more than 2 weeks, the plant is enjoying and soaking up energy from the spring rays... long live the sun! ☀️ This week I added a new light to the canopy, a 3000K (50w) COB LED with a 120° lens, to maximize the light spread. I placed this light in the middle of the MH and Vipar panels, where there was a shaded area, now all parts of the plants are well exposed to light. Additionally, the 3000K color spectrum of this light helps to balance the average spectrum of the two panels (MH and Vipar) which is around 3500K to 3800K... I'm heading towards the red!! I continue to feed the plant with every watering to maximize bud fattening, controlling the concentration of my soluble mixes. This week I've noticed an increase in bud density, and the smell is very strong and intoxicating, with aromas of an ATM, underpinned by forest soil. Water consumption remains high, and the plant, although it shows its age, still maintains vigor and growth in the colas. I'm going to wait to see the progress and decide on the harvest day; I'm still feeding the plant until the last day! I changed one of the canopy lights, the 3000K (50w) LED COB with a 120° lens that I added last week, and replaced it with another 2800K LED COB with a 60° lens, to give maximum intensity over the canopy. I placed this light in the middle of the MH and Vipar panels, where there was a shadowy area; now all parts of the plants are well exposed to light. Additionally, the 2800K color spectrum of this light helps to balance the average spectrum of the two panels (MH and Vipar) that range between 3500K and 3800K... There's a lot of pressure to harvest this plant, pressure to make room for other plants that are demanding a decent spot, pressure from all the raiders in the neighborhood, and the need to fill my stash box with weed. Despite this, I'm not going to harvest it yet; the plant remains vigorous and active, with very high water consumption, also due to the high temperatures. The trichomes are multiplying, mostly milky for now, with barely any amber trichomes, and the flower buds look fresh and continue to gain density. For now, while I harvest this plant, to solve the space problem, I've set up a small 40x40 grow tent where I've put the 4 youngest plants, two of which are autoflowering and have already started to flower. I'm lighting these plants with a 100w Full Spectrum LED Panel, and during the day they get sunlight! The raiders will have to wait, and my stash box will hold out until I can start smoking this plant. A week ago, I increased the light for the 4 plants in advanced flowering by one hour, now 13/11h💡💡🌞 For the last two waterings, I've only used alkaline spring water (PH: 7.86, EC: 0.42) and a liquid Bio stimulant made from 4 algae with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA). With this, I regulate the final PH of the mix (PH: 6.55, EC: 0.8), provide energy to the plant, and favor the assimilation of nutrients that are still left in the substrate. Después de un comienzo lento y un cultivo largo, ha merecido la pena cultivar esta cepa. He recortado los cogollos y mis dedos han quedado pringados, flores muy pegajosas y extremadamente olorosas. Una semana de secado y otra de curado, las altas temperaturas de estos días y la baja humedad relativa han acelerado el periodo de secado, dejando la hierba en un punto óptimo para fumarla desde ya! Al abrir el bote de secado fuertes aromas cítricos dominan el ambiente y notas frescas de pino te transportan al bosque... vamos a fumar! El humo es suave de tragar, se muele muy fino, un sabor terroso se queda en boca y suavemente mis mejillas se acaloran, el efecto es una mezcla de sativa, al principio, y un fuerte golpe de Índica que te deja sentado y soñando! Definitivamente una cepa muy productiva y de gran calidad, no apta para mañanas ocupadas!

I trusted the seedling when it was just growing and seemed like it had no future, and that trust has paid off. The plant has left a great space free for other crops, the harvest is decent, the touch and smell of the buds suggest it will be quality weed. The intensity of the lights this season, where I gathered several in one tent instead of dividing them into multiple tents, has convinced me. The electricity bill has been acceptable, and the resulting buds are very dense. The pot size (15L) is the largest I've used so far. It's true that a big pot makes big plants, but for me, who moves and carries my pots a lot throughout the grow, it has been an effort I won't repeat. From now on, I'll plant in pots of 7-12L, which also allows me to have more pots in the tent and try new strains... but that will be in the summer-autumn season.
