This week went by so fast, hell this whole grow is moving super fast seems like yesterday I just planted them! The last 3 feedings I've only given them tap water ph'd to 6.3 to 6.6.
I plan on feeding them 2 more times with nutes before next week when I will flush them to prepare for the last 2 weeks before harvest.
WW#1 fan leaves are all pretty much turning yellow, both lower and upper ones. I blame it on me bending the top cola to make it fit under the light.
The bottom leaves of all the plants are beginning to change color and drop. Nothing to be alarmed about just the normal wear and tear from nutes being sucked out of them for bud and resin growth.
According to the stats on this seeds genetics from ILGM, I only have about 3 weeks of flowering left.
Update 1/31/22
I got a new digital microscope and can finally get crystal clear shots of Trichromes. It wasn't supposed to arrive until Thurs but came today. I took pictures right away. They still got a bit more ripening to do.
Looking better this week! Keep up the good work, if you don’t have any photos in your tent (idk your set up) I would up the hours of light your girls are getting to 18-20 per day. You will see astronomical growth. If you want to check it out, @super.squintz on insta. Got 6 autos running currently, 1 of which is a white widow like you
So definitely sprinkle about 1/4inch of dirt over the lanky part while it is laying over. You have some pros and cons of doing this and some can be looked at either way. Cannabis is awesome at something called air layering. Meaning if it’s stem touches dirt for awhile, the stem throws off roots. It’s how the plant survives in nature if it falls or gets knocked over. So if you lay it over, gently cover with dirt, and give it boatloads of love, you should be good. That being said, that plant will obviously be much more squat than the others. IMO it will be a better plant that is squat and strong as opposed to being tall, lanky, and giving you continuous problems with growth. Also, the more roots you have, the more nutes the plant can absorb from the grow media, and the better the overall smoke. I am by no means a master grower, but I am a professional medical cultivator for the state So if I can help I will definitely try
I think you should add more dirt man upto about 2-3cm below the first set of leaves the root system will go all the way up to that point, and stop it from toppling over ✌️🌱🌱 I learnt that as I failed to do this with my last one, hope this helps
