Finally decided to grow a strain that I have wanted to do for a very long time. Classic Durban Poison.
The girl is doing extremely well and is boosting after her 1st week because of amazing sunny weather.
Dutch passion knows how to breed solid strains. After two weeks she is just boosting and looking super happy.
This is going to be one of the strongest plants that I have grown because she is in her natural habitat.
Very happy so far with the progress made.
Like all of my new starters this season they have been relatively slow in starting up and picking up.
This all comes down to the strange and much cooler summer weather that we have encountered.
Still looking healthy.
Massive transplant happened for this youngster. Really happy how she reacted after repotting her.
Hopefully going to respond super strong and turn into a GIANT!
Slowly adjusting to her new environment in the bigger pot. Was attacked by some sort of worm but that is outdoor for you.
I have topped her now and looking forward to see what is going to happen. Was a bit of a impulsive move because I was defoliating other plants.
I made a huge mistake when I topped. Some how I killed of the secondary new node that was supposed to come out.
So I did another top. Plant might not turn into the biggest plant now but hopefully I salvaged some future good growth.
Hmmmm....
I have been torturing this plant. Massive pot transfer a couple of weeks ago.
Failed topping and then I needed to re-top the plant. Looks like some leaf curling and this is purely due to underwatering.
I have now drenched the soil very very nicely.
Hoping for a good recovery. Bit of a mad scientist creation in progress.
Bush city! Looking healthy and not stopping. I don't even know what to call this topping structure that I have created but she is making me super happy.
Unfortunately still have to keep the dog net around her as the dogs can't stop eating her lower leaves and branches.
Bushy and looking sublime. Did some LST tie down work on the side to get some extra sun exposure on the plant.
Really impressive stuff going on here from Dutch Passion. Never seizes to amaze me how string their genetics are.
This is going to be magical.
I simply can't keep up with her. Defoliation is happening more than often and she just explodes a week after that.
Looks like pre-flower is about 7 days away. We have been pumped with super hot weather. Actually crazy hot weather.
This is going to be a really nice budding plant.
Does not matter how many times I give her a haircut she just bushes up again. I cut of some lower hanging branches to focus more on the top bigger branches.
Flowering has started and she is looking like creating monster buds.
My idea of what I thought would be a cool canopy actually did not turn into what I got but the structure of the plant still looks sublime.
Last bit of defoliation has been completed on this beaut. She looks strong and very keen to deliver huge buds.
Starting to send of some nice smells in the garden as well making me smile. Praying hands are being full sent most of the days.
We had some rainfall but no mildew in sight yet.
Durban Poison! WOW WOW WOW.
Just seeing some strange burning on the leaves. Might be some nute burns. Not sure but it has been super hot.
She is going to be awesome.
Been struggling with a magnesium deficiency in the plant but the buds are coming along very nicely.
Super nice smell as well! I am guessing she has about 3 weeks left before harvest is commencing.
DP as they call it where I grew up. Structure is nice and the buds are ripening up very nicely.
Could of been bigger buds but this was due to the lack of proper nutrition and looking after the soil.
Almost time to go. Thanks for the journey.
Had a really easy harvest. Buds actually dried out in almost 4 days with a gentle curing process. No complaints here as Dutch Passion are true masters of the trade.
