Oracle13 Germinated 2 Malawi x Nl, one germinated much faster and when planting the shell of one came off. The other sprouted after 2 days with shell still covering one cotyledon, stunted growth but alive. 😥 germinated a Misty gorilla auto that was left over i case the one girl didn’t make it..

Oracle13 Photos from day 1 & 4, as mentioned the one girl was damaged by seed, you can see, not being shed properly. Possibly I didn’t plant it low enough..? Misty gorilla germinated n jiffy pellet as back up case the one Malawi didn’t make it. But we’re all good. First watering was plain water, 2nd with root juice. Comments and advice welcome, my first grow.

Oracle13 I think we’re doing well, have been letting the soil dry out and watering little and often, 300ml per plant on the 3rd day. Using a spray bottle. The smaller Malawi seems to be recovered. Watering using a spray bottle, used alga mic foliar spray. As always comments and advice is appreciated.

Oracle13 Started lst, day 22-23,using a combination of string and soft garden ties. I’ve bent the main shoots over and supported their base,. Going well I think, spending time on it everyday. I hve concerns about using string, it’s soft but worried it cuts into or stops the stem from thickening, I like thicc bois.. Any advice? With flowering a week or so away I want to maximise but not stress it too much..
For your string, you can use cable ties to provide a loop around the stem then tie the string to the cable tie rather than the stem. I use hemp twine instead of string because it's not going to damage the stems and if any fibres get stuck stuck to the plant and end up getting smoked, it's only hemp instead of nylon or other man-made material! I also use bonsai wire instead of garden ties. No reason for this other than it's what I had originally so I stuck with it!
Hope this helps, good luck with your grow - their leaves are looking lovely and lush!
