11-25 I had planted 2 Granddaddy purple seeds that had been soaking in water, one for 72 hours that had no taproot, and another that had been soaking in a glass of water for 24 hours that had a 1/2" taproot. I planted both in the same spot thinking the one with no taproot would not sprout. I was wrong they both sprouted which left me with 2 sprout growing within a cm of each other.
Above is a video of me actually digging out the sprout and a pic of the plant 24 hours after transplant. Looks like she will survive as well as the other.
Looking pretty rough. Watered it 11/26 and it dried out very quickly dried another watering on 11/29 AM. Pic is from 11/29 PM. will see how things go but looks like her condition is deteriorating.
Looks like she may recover. Any products you guys recommend applying to the root ball for healthier roots during transplanting that work particularly well? Feel free to send or guide me to comparison diaries. Will just sit back and see what this girl has to offer.
Was unable to accurately measure ph of solution with big bloom due to the discoloration of the water, got a new digital ph meter to more accurately read at full strength. Hopeful for more vigorous growth! They are drinking a lot more.
