12/9 - First update in a week, I've been working crazy hours and just haven't had the time. Things have been going pretty well, except over the past 2-3 days I started to notice some slight yellow spotting in the middle of the leaves, the only thing I can think of is a pH problem since I've been watering straight tap since that first small "feed"
I'm waiting on a new pH meter from Amazon but luckily I had some pH test drops left over from a while ago. I pH'd a big jug of water to around 6-6.5 and just flushed out the solo cups until the runoff was also in that same pH range.
Hopefully things won't get any worse, and they perk up a bit before I transplant to the 5gal bags.
Since the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend is supposed to contain everything plants need for seedling/veg, I don't really think it would be a deficiency, but I'll put up some pics and if anyone has any input, it would be appreciated!
12/10 - So... I figured out the problem. Got my new pH meter today and checked my tap... it's fucking 10.1... I thought that had to be wrong but I calibrated twice to make sure. The meter is on point!
Anyway... they seemed to be doing alright after that mini flush I gave them so I transplanted them to their final homes today, 7gal fabric pots. Gave them each a little drink, about 1.5qts of water pH'd to 6.5 (I sprinkled about 1/8 tsp Recharge into the transplant holes before popping them in and watering).
Upped light intensity to 75%
Now let's see how they react to the new homes ๐
