All seedlings are looking good!
There is some slight discoloration on the leaves but I believe this is only a phenotypic trait of my new strain and not a sign of issues. Im actually stoked my homemade strain has some distinct markings.
This grow will be interesting every plant has some distinct differences.
#1 is looking a little floppy, the slower grower of the three and is undergoing a little transplant shock.
#2 and #3 are looking good and didn't skip a beat during transplant.
Lights at 60%
All fans going
intake at 50%
Plants #2 and #3 are looking great.
#1 is showing some pretty serious issues on the leaves and its getting worse. I'm hoping the plant will stabilize once all the transplant shock has subsided.
Both plants are looking ok overall.
Plant #1 has a little damage towards the bottom, probably just combination of transplant and topping shock. New growth looks good.
#2 is looking great just a little smaller than I would expect.
All new growth is looking good, no more signs of damage. Tops are growing nicely.
Transition has started.
Both plants have a relatively airy structure so i've hardly had to do any defoliation.
Both plants are doing fantastic. Plant #3 did not respond well to the topping so I removed it to make room in the very crowded tent.
First week of flowering has begun and i believe I have two females but I can't quite tell yet.
Added worm castings and a top dressing of organic veg and bloom fertz, slow release.
One of my white novas did not react well to a topping and is lost.
Another turned out to be a male and despite him being healthy as a horse hes out.
The last White Nova is healthy and I'm thankful she turned out to be female.
One last defoliation to open up air flow and light penetration.
White Nova is going well growth has exploded into flowering. I'm a little worried how close the tops are to the light as I can't raise them any further.
Probably should have flowered them 1-2 weeks earlier.
Flowering is well underway. I am going to snip more undergrowth than usual because of the crazy thick canopy. Basically no light penetration to the lower sites.
The base is so dark little roots are trying to grow at the very bottom of the stalk.
Came in with the clippers to all the undergrowth. All energy is now focused to the canopy.
White Nova is looking healthy and flowers are developing quickly!
Last feeding of bloom nutrients. Possibly a little tiger bloom here and there but we'll see.
White Nova has one cola that is basically touching the light, unfortunately I can't raise the light anymore. She grew a little to big.
However overall health looks great there are plenty of colas at the right level.
One watering with aloe, calmag, and neem oil. Secret ingredient added for increased terpene production.
White Nova is looking good but kinda wild. It looks like she turned out sativa and some of lanky buds look like their pollinated.
Looks like I might get a new strain out of her. I added some Cherry Pie pollen from one of my two males.
This week I left her alone except for watering.
White Nova looks healthy, I'm not sure how it's going to turn out as some of the buds are developing amber trichomes on the sugar leaves way too early. Never seen that before.
If nothing else this experimental strain is fun to watch develop.
I gave one last watering with cal-mag and aloe vera, regular waterings from here on out.
White Nova looks to be a sativa just based on the leaves and height.
Very healthy and buds are developing nicely and look like they have a ways to go!
2-4 more weeks for this girl.
Regular watering only.
White Nova ended up producing some nice looking buds! The top Cola was fat dense nugget one of the bigger I've grown. The fade and colors were beautiful, nice purples, oranges. The smoke is nice, it feels like an Indica. Blissful couch lock is the best way to describe it. Taste is slightly sweet, kinda like blackberries if I had to choose. Some other strains I grew have a stronger taster off the bat but we will see what evolves after curing a bit longer. Overall it's a good strain, hard hitting and fun to grow 9/10!
