My watering solution is the same from last week. I'm going to make a new one when I finish this one. Otherwise they might need to be transplanted soon.
Big week this is.
I just transplant into bigger 5 gallon pots.
Made a brand new solution for the week. Raised the Ec to 1,4, there seems to have a little bit of deficiency in phosphorus. Will update more photos later this week
***Later week update, I've lower my watering solution pH to 5.8 for better nutrient uptake. It's one of the reason that I got a phosphorus deficiency along with a bit of overwatering during the transplant
The two Fuel D.og have recuperated from the previous week phosphorus deficiency. The White Widow and the two Pineapple Express still have their growth slightly impaired.
This week I've top the fuel D.og and the White Widow. Otherwise I'm still monitoring my pH and watch out for overwatering. Probably going to top the Pineapples when they get little taller.
I've started the week with a flush of pH 6 water in order to compensate the pH fluctuations of the previous week. The Fuel D.ogs are looking very nice. They will be transferred in a bigger room this week.
The White Widow and the two Pineapple Express are still growing slowly. That's why I think the flush is going to be beneficial. In order to unlock the roots access to nutrients uptake, and the probable build up of nutrient in the substrate.
Received my new Mars Hydro FC-E 3000 lamps this week. I assemble one to put the Fuel D.og under it. They were running out of space.
Was supposed to transfer into a bigger room but I ran out of time. Hopefully my room is going to be finished this weekend.
Long time since last update. I was busy finishing my room. This is the last vegetative week for the fuel D.og and the White Widow. I will top and make some clones prior to flowering period.
Just switched form 18/6 light schedule to 12/12 three days ago. I've done LST on the plants to keep height regularity. I have defoliate and cut out all the unnecessary branches in order to ameliorate the air flow in the lower parts.
Second week in 12/12. The stretch is not too bad.
I've run a second defoliation. I will probably need to make a third defoliation during the week. Just to remove the unnecessary leaves.
I've started to give the plants potassium mono-phosphate in order to promote bud growth. I'll see how far I can push them.
***Later week update**** day 16th on 12/12
I'v rise the monophosphate up to twice initial week dosage and the plants a taking it very well! Bud growth is happening very fast
Third week in 12/12. I made a third defoliation, probably the last big one.
Still maintaining high phosphorus concentration otherwise not much going on
Big update to my setup, I've added two new Mars Hydro FC-E 4800 the 3000 were too small!
Otherwise I will probably run a one day flush since I boosted the two fuel d.og and the white widow. The colas are getting a good size but still a couple of weeks to go.
I've moved my Pineapple Express into my flowering room room. I've kind of forgot or neglect them for couple of weeks. They are going to need a big hair cut :P
Fifth week in 12/12 the two fuel d.og are exploding with big buds. I'm maintaining high phosphorus concentration in my watering solution. Hairs are starting to turn orange very fast on one pheno the other one is little slower.
Week 6 on 12/12 light cycle. The pineapples are on week 2 in 12/12. I defoliate them during last weekend.
On the nutrient side, I've cut in half the phosphorus amount and I started to introduce Potassium sulphate in low amount but increasing gradually.
So week 7 in 12/12.
With the Fuel D.og, I've had an issue with a potassium deficiency. At first I thought it was a phosphorus deficiency because I was slowly reducing potassium monophosphate. So I started to give more for a few day but the yellowing of the leaves continue. Few days after I figured out my mistake and proceed to a flush for a day to remove excess of phosphorus. I've drop the pH solution to 5.8 and I started giving Potassium Sulphate 0-0-52 in reasonable amount. I'm watching for recovery but damage have been done to bigger older leaves which I don't think they will fully recover.
The White Widow was not affected by the defiency at all.
The Pineapple Express were having a manganese deficiency which never occurred to me before. I search online and I found out it was because my feeding solution had a too high pH so I lowered the pH to 5.7 this should resolve the problem.
Week 8 in 12/12.
So I really figured out my previous week mistake. It was my pH meter who needed to be calibrated. I calibrated it at the beginning of my grow and thought it will be good for the entire grow. The probe is probably getting old and I will change it after the harvest.
Last week of flowering harvest next weekend for the White Widow and the Two fuel d.og. I'm decreasing my Ec progressively the last two days are going to be with pH water only.
For the pineapples express it's going to take couple of weeks more since I put them into flowering after the others.
overall satisfied with this genetic. I had some issue with my pH meter which caused me some deficiency but in the end, it end up being a very good smoke.
@NuttyYeti, Yeah I really enjoyed this strain, I was looking for Sour Diesel seeds but couldn't find those last year so I found out this strain. It's a really good day to day sativa I never got bored from smoking it every day.
