This week I checked every few days and adjusted my training wires to keep the branches growing horizontally. Once the space is a bit more filled out then I'll let it start growing upward! About four weeks in the soil passed so it was time to start feeding. Since Ocean Forest soil has so much in it, I like to wait a bit before adding extra nutrients. That way I avoid burning the plant, I am a little over cautious but hey it has worked for me so far. I added in the general hydroponics three part of gro, bloom, and micro, sticking with the general vegetation table of a bout 5ml each. I'll see how that does over the next week or so and adjust as needed.
@sleeks, that's what I thought. Thanks for replying. The grow I'm doing now is the first time I've tied a plant down. My tent is only 5 feet tall so I wanted to see if it would help in that respect
@jeffl2956, Personally I wait until the branches are in the shape I want them. In this case I had them tied to fill out the tent from side to side and keep the canopy even across the top. Once I have that basic shape I remove some. If some start growing taller than the others, I may tie a bit more to keep it more even.
