Seed was soaked for 24hr in a small glass of clean water until a taproot started showing, then went straight to final three gallon fabric pot in the tent.
New leaves! Getting established as a true seedling and rooting firmly.
Tent has been dialed in with a mini humidifier and heater + 2-3 min. exhaust timer on the fan.
Added the oscillating fan to the tent so we can start building some strength in the stalk. Happy so far with how it looks. Preparing the first big watering this weekend and I may add a little nutrients just to get her prepped for a bigger feed at flower. Still feel like it's too early to start LST... maybe towards the end of the week. Leaves look great so far, beautiful color. Hoping this one stays relatively short as well. With three autos in the tent right now it could get crowded quickly. Gave it low dose Fox Farm nutes with the first real watering.
Started to do some aggressive leaf tucking on these monster fan leaves and popped in a few LST clips to open her up. Getting quite a few new top sites and super bushy so far. Hairs just starting to come in as well. I switched to bottom watering last week and the stalk has really thickened up. Looking forward to flowering starting soon and the first real defoliation coming up.
Defoliated some of the bigger fan leaves and used LST clips on the branches to open her up. She bounced back quickly and plenty of hairs are starting to show now.
Flowering slow but looks great. I don't want to defoliate again at this point but leaf tucking continues. Jacked up the nutrients this week and moved her into a brand new 4'x4' tent with an extra light.
Tops are coming up finally! This thing is bushy as hell and taking a while to flower. Super happy with how strong the branches are and while the leaves are a bit much, they look really healthy. Not trying to defoliate again this late, so we'll see what happens. Trying to keep up with the leaf tucking and rotations.
Defoliated to open up the dense bush this was turning into. Started seeing an explosion of pistils after so I know she appreciated it. Cleaned up the root system with Fox Farm Bush Doctor Sledgehammer because I was mixing for other plants anyway.
Tied two branches down to the handles so this girl could get some more light. Did a little light defoliation as the pistils are really starting to stack up. Hope they tighten up in the next week or two and pack on a little calyx. Really happy with how healthy and easygoing this cultivar has been. Definitely looking forward to popping more Night Owl stuff in the future.
