Female Seeds sent me these seeds and I am excited for them to get going. I have had C99 before, but I don't believe it was from the Netherlands, so I am excited to see how this sativa plant grows. I would like to train this one to give me a lot of colas so topping them is going to be key. They were germinated in Happy Frog soil from Fox Farms and I hope this soil doesn't give me problems. I may be switching things up once they are in need of a transplant but haven't decided how I am going to attack this grow completely. I am excited to have six plants in this tent and I hope to get some good bud out of it. Hope Everyones grow is going well! Happy growing
These little ladies are pretty happy this week and seem to be growing at a good rate. They seem to be the bigger of the strains and happiest as well. I like the color right now on her and from the looks of it this lighter green is what she is supposed to look like so far. I just started seeing little nodes coming out of her first level so I might start some training this week on her. I havent decided how I want all these ladies set up in their final homes. I am thinking 3 Gal pots and the possibility of moving to an organic soil from a local company Build-A-Soil in Colorado. I am really interested in top dressing the plants as well as only using water and not doing nutrients. Since weight is not a big issue and quality is more what I am looking for I think the organic soil may be the way to go. Im interested in what everyone thinks of just doing organic! Hope all is well and happy growing!
These C99's are doing the best out of all the ladies in the tent. It's exciting to see them thrive in their environment. It has gotten a little chilly in the basement so I am a little worried about slow growth but it seems to have no effect on these little ladies. They are super happy and I hope to make them happier with the new organic system i am going to try out from BuildASoil. Hopefully i can get them in a new home this week and then i hope to start some training after that. Right now they are cruising and seem to be happy ladies. Hope all this well, Happy growing everyone!
Another week down in the books. These ladies are doing well. I am finding out that more water is needed as they seem a little down after hour 14 of light. The C99 is starting to give off a little smell to them and seem to be happiest out of the tent. I am waiting for another week then I plant to transplant them into their new homes which will be 3 gallon pots with BuildaSoil products,. I am excited to see these ladies thrive in organic soil and am keeping my fingers crossed for a good transplant. I plant to top these little ladies this week and start some LST once transplanted. Happy New Year Everyone! Happy Growing!
The C99's are doing the best out of all of the plants in the tent. I am really happy with their color and how big they are getting. The bottom branches are growing nicely and I have removed a few leaves from the bottom. I didnt top them this week but plan to in the next few days. I am excited for them to get into their new home. I transplanted them tonight but didnt get the chance to upload pictures or their new homes. I moved them to 3 gallon pots filled with the 3.0 BuildAsoil. I added about topped it with BuildASoil Craft blend and am waiting for mulch to arrive so I can add it to the top of the soil. I am nervous about this organic cycle and hope I am doing things right! I should have waited for the mulch to show up to transplant but these ladies probably needed their new home and I don't think it could have waited. I will just need to make sure the soil is staying moist until the mulch comes in. Fingers crossed I am doing this right and these ladies enjoy their new home. Hope everyone is having a good year thus far! Happy Growing!
I transplanted these ladies last week in new organic soil and they seem to be very happy with their new homes. These to C99's are crushing it and are going to big ladies, I think. I was able to add some mulch later this week as I was waiting for it to come in all week. I was able to top both of them a few days ago and they seem to be doing ok. Water is only needed are 2 or 3 days and they seems to be drinking plenty. I am happy with the color on them and the way they are growing. They are the cream of the crop for sure compared to the Cherry Pie. I dont have much to say here today except happy growing everyone!
These ladies seem to be very happy with their second week in their new pots. They are the fastest growing and largest out of the 6 in the tent. The back C99 seems to be spreading out after they were topped quicker than the other. They were topped a few days apart so this could be the reason. I should have topped these ladies sooner or went lower down to get all those bottom branches to be even but i am extremely happy with these plants and they seem to be happy too. I added some worm castings on the top, probably around 1/4 of a cup. Not a lot but enough to keep the soil happy. 2 more week of Veg time and I am debating on doing a trellis. Im not sure if its too late for that or not with only two weeks of veg time left, Let me know what you guys think. The other ladies in the tent are shorter so I am up in the air about it. Hope all is well, Happy Growing!
Not Much going on here with these ladies besides being the monsters of the tent. I am happy with how they are looking and i am regretting not topping earlier and not doing some better LST. I tried to do some super cropping this week, just some twisting of the top and not sure if it did much. Branches on these ladies are long and I am hoping to get some good buds out of them. I am going to veg these an extra week longer in the hopes the other ladies in the tent catch up to these two a bit better. I plan to get these ladies ready for flower with a top dressing that i plan to do on Wednesday. Just adding water to these ladies at this time. Hope all is well and happy growing!
These C99's are blowing up right now and I am happy with what is taking place. This is the last week of veg time and I will be flipping into week one of flower. I added a top dressing to them with the BuildaSoil BuildaFlower and Craft Blend. Still only giving these ladies water and they seem pretty happy right now getting fed every two days or so. I try and keep the topsoil moist and give them a quick spray on now watering days. Unsure how these ladies will stretch but I am excited to get them into flower. Happy Growing!
Not much going on for the first week of flower. They are starting to stretch more and more each day which is awesome. I moved my light up and increased the power to 75%. They looked a bid sad this weekend and it possible there is a bit too much watering going on. These ladies are lanky and i am hoping to see some buds by the end of this week. Not much to talk about, sorry for being late again on my updates hope everything is going well. Happy Growing!
Not much to say this week as i have been busy and been lacking on keeping info down. They are thirsty ladies though and seem to enjoy water every day. The C99's are large and the bottom branches are what seem to be stretching the most out of them which I actually enjoy seeing. Buds are starting to form as well. Just water this week and probably after next week throw another top dressing on of the BuildaSoil flower mix. Hope all this well and everyone is enjoying their grows. Happy Growing
Another week down and again a few days late with my update on these ladies. One seems to be stretching still and the other is getting some really good buds going at this time. I plan to add more flowering top dressing to them to keep them happy throughout the next 4 weeks or so. I think these ladies are further behind schedule than if I was using bottled nutrients but i have all the time in the world so im not too worried. They seem to be happy every day and seem to enjoy small amounts of water each day as well. Im not going to get giant nugs on these ladies but i think the quality will be some of the best grown yet. I hope all is well with everyone; happy growing!
One of the C99's seems to be doing way better than the other. One is showing nice bud formation and girth, but the other is showing small buds and not looking as nice. Might be a genetic thing or it may be a me thing and not knowing what I am doing lol. Either way they seem to be on the happy side of things and are continuing their journey of flowering. I did add more top dressing to them this week with the BuildaSoil's BuildaBloom which I hope beefs these ladies up. I am also going to give them BuildaSoil's BuildaFlower. All organic soluble nutrient that is supposed to help with the flowering stages. We shall see how everything goes. Hope everyone is doing well. Happy Growing.
Well its becoming a theme that I am posting late, but in my defense I broke my hand so its been tough this past week. The tent has been getting cooler with the lights off and i think it may be hurting one of these ladies that already doesnt look the best. I doubt i will get an ounce off of the defective C99, but the other one will make up for it. They seem to be pretty happy even though one doesnt look like it. I gave them some molasses this week and hope it does them well. I will get some close up pictures of the trichomes this week to show the progress of the buds. Hope all is well, Happy Growing!
Honestly I am worried about these ladies, lol. Its probably my fault and due to over watering or something else. The branches of these ladies have started to twist and lean. I have a feeling its not due to the weight of the buds but due to something else. As you can see they dont seem to be the happiest of ladies. I also have a nat problem that came from one of the Cherry Pie's and the Fox Farm Soil i had to put her in. I am trying to figure out how to manage the population being this late into flower. Traps have been placed and I am trying to keep the airflow strong throughout the tent. The last week or so i have seen a decline in these ladies, one more than the other but i am worried things are turning out here. I am happy with being able to experiment and learn from my mistakes though. I am not sure full organic is something I am ready for but am enjoying testing new things out. I think about 3 more weeks for these ladies and it will be time to come down. Hope everyones grow is doing better than mine! Happy growing!
Looks like these ladies are start to get some change in their pistils and are starting to fatten up. They are about a week or two from being done would be my guess. They smell like grapefruit and seem to be getting a nice coat of trichomes. They are smaller than i hoped for but they seem to be doing better this week than previous weeks. Not much to say here as they are on cruise control at this time. Hope all is well. Happy Growing!
Well these ladies came down this weekend and they did not turn out the way i wanted. One also got some nanners so i hope nothing was pollenated. They smell great and have ok trichome production. I wish the buds got bigger and i wish the smell was a bit stronger. I am glad they are done and they did show little bits of amber in them so i think i chopped them down at the same time. Probably not going to get much out of these but I will be happy when they are cured. Hope everyone is doing well, Happy Growing.
Not sure if it was me or the seed but this didnt turn out how i was expecting. I was happy with the results to an extent. I wish they would have turned out better. They smell great though! One plant did decide to herm on me.
These ladies started out great but then when they stretched, they became flimsy and not as strong as I hoped they would. They did not produce as much trichomes or smell as the other ladies in the tent either. Since one did herm at the end I am not sure if this is what helped with such small amount of weight on them. Easy to cut down but hard to trim while dry. Should have trimmed when the plant was wet. they took 3 days longer to dry than the other ladies in the tent.
Excited to follow your grow.
I am also just starting up on the c99, and got the cherry pie as a freebie so it will be nice to see how everything is growing😁 And smoking😎
Good luck and happy growing😁
Your C99 is looking great mate. 👌
About the Trellis. I would just flower everything according to your plan, and if you feel like they get out of hand during flower stretch, then use the Trellis. And not worry too much about it until then :) And maybe put something under the Cherry Pie to get them up to about the same level if you use the net. But I am not a very experienced grower, just sharing how I think I would handle it :)
