Big Bloom - Fox Farm
Big Bloom 15.625 mll
This is an overlapping project with another. I'm still new at this so I might have misjudged when I should have started this project I think I'm a week early. Started 12/04/21 with just a black container with papers towels and distilled water, let them sit for 48 hours with 1 re-soak 24 hours in, air temp around 75F. Planted each seed in a 3 gallon square cloth pot about 1 - 1.5 inches into the ground. I used Fox Farm Organic Ocean Forest potting soil and started them off with Fox farm Big Bloom mixture 4 tablespoons per gallon distilled water. I fed each pot with 1/4 gallon. They will be getting another small feeding tonight with the same mixture ratio, will feed about 1.5 - 2 cups water each. Sweet Gelato - She broke the surface pretty fast on 12/09/21 - Under T5 FL from Vivosun Vanilla Frosting - She broke the surface 12/11/21 - Under T5 FL from Vivosun Glue Gelato - She broke the surface pretty fast on 12/09/21 - In the main chamber under Vivosun 100w LED Blueberry - She broke the surface 12/10/21 - Under T5 FL from Vivosun

Everything is looking well, I watered all 4 plants with about a cup of distilled water (12/13/21) and poured in a circle rotation around the stem to help grow out the root system. I am rotating the 3 Plants under the 2 T5 FL lights every 24 hours so each plant gets time in the middle where the light is the strongest. Next Feeding is now going to include Fox Farm Grow Big/Big Bloom 3 tsp/gal of each(This did not happen this week as I only fed them distilled water due.) (12/18/21) Been having some issues with 3 of 4 the plants with what looks like burning. I'm switching to a 20 - 4 Light cycle to give the plants a chance to rest and to reduce stress. I'm also realizing that the square cloth pot tends to loosen the soil more than the circle ones when moved around. I'm hoping this is not causing stress to the root system/plant itself, going to be adding more soil to the pots. Blueberry - 5.5 cm(12/13/21), Was cleaning the leaf off as I thought mold was developing(which was not the case) and ended up ripping half the leaf off. Minor burning on the leaves. Vanilla Frosting - 6 cm(12/13/21), Minor burning on the leaves. Sweet Gelato - 5.5 cm(12/13/21) - So far everything is looking great, no real issues. Glue Gelato - 3.5 cm(12/13/21), Minor burning on the leaves.

One major change was the light cycle is now 20 - 4! I'm still rotating the plants position under the lights. I added soil today(12/20/21) to the square pots to fill them out more and also did a feeding as well. Hoping that the change in light schedule and more stable soil will put less stress on the plants.(12/22/21) Everything looking good, seems like all 4 plants are growing pretty strong and reacting well with the 4 hour rest time.(12/24/21) I fed them today and everything looking good. (12/25/21). I added more soil to the each pot to help with the stability and did another rotation. Hoping to be able to start LST in week 3. I ordered a new LED light to replace the T5s next week so I'm hoping to get that setup. Since I added new layer of soil, so the height of the plant doesn't reflect accurate growth from week 1 to 2. Blueberry - 11cm(12/22/21) - She doing great, even after having her leaf ripped. Vanilla Frosting - 8cm(12/22/21) - She small and compact. Sweet Gelato - 11cm(12/22/21) - Growing great! Glue Gelato - 7cm(12/22/21) - She small but doing better than last week, her new set of leaves seem pretty healthy.

(12/28/21) Big changes this week. I took down the barrier/shelving to increase the grow space from 3x3 to 4x3. The duel T5 lights were removed and 2nd VS1000 LED was put in on 12/27/21. I bought a handheld sprayer for watering I believe this will help avoid further erosion. All four plants are right on track right now with no real issues yet. (12/29/21) - Watering of just distilled water and did LST(Tie Down Method)/Topping. (01/01/22) - Top Soil looked dried so watered all 4 plant with just distilled water. Blueberry - (12/29/21) Everything seems to be on track - Did Topping/LST. (12/31/21) Did minor Defoliation on the lower leaves. Waiting for her to grow a little more before I do another round of LST Vanilla Frosting - (12/29/21) Everything seems to be on track - Did Topping/LST. (12/31/21) Did minor Defoliation on the lower leaves. Waiting for her to grow a little more before I do another round of LST Sweet Gelato - (12/29/21) Everything seems to be on track - Only LST(Tie Down Method) decided against Topping going to only do LST(Tie Down Method). (01/01/22) Did minor Defoliation on the lower leaves. Waiting for her to grow a little more before I do another round of LST. Glue Gelato - (12/29/21) Everything seems to be on track - Did Topping/LST. (12/31/21) Did minor Defoliation on the lower leaves. She is a little stress and showing some damage on her new set of leaves. Waiting for her to grow a little more before I do another round of LST

(1/3/22) - Good start of the week so far. Did some LST on all 4 plants. (1/5/22) More LST on all 4 plants. (1/6/22) Plant health wise they all seem to be in good shape though I wish they grow a little taller. I will have to make sure I put more dirt in the pots for my next project to avoid this issue. I will be feeding them tomorrow with Grow Big from Fox farm to give the plants and the organic soil a boost of nutrients. (1/7/22) Fed each plant 1/8 of gallon of Grow Big with distilled water. Also decided to give them one of the two VS1000 lights in the tent and was able to lower it to 15 inches above the plants, hoping this will give them a boost with the feeding. Blueberry - (1/3/22) LST today, looks like she responding well to the spreading. Everything looking good plant health wise. (1/6/22) Seems to be responding to the LST, she is spreading out nicely. Glue Gelato - (1/3/22) LST today, looks like she responding ok to the spreading as she is a very compact plant. Did noticed one of the top leaves is not looking good very yellow, I'm guessing she didn't handle the topping as well like the others. Not too worried though the rest of her looks good.(1/6/22) Seems to be not responding to the LST, she still staying very compacted and small. I'm worried I should have not topped this one. Sweet Gelato - (1/3/22) LST today, looks like she responding well to being tie-down and going the desired direction . Everything looking good plant health wise. (1/6/22) Seems to be responding to the LST, growing along the edge in a circle formation. I'm not convince of this LST method though I could be doing this wrong yet but she seems to be taking it well. I will do more research on this method with this strain. Vanilla Frosting - (1/3/22) LST today, looks like she responding well to the spreading. Everything looking good plant health wise. (1/6/22) Seems to be responding to the LST, she is spreading out nicely.

(01/09/22) - Just did Defoliation on all 4 plants. to clean them up a bit and get them spread out. (01/12/22) - Big changes for these guys. With finishing up my 1st project so the 4x3 space was reduced to put up the barrier, so now dealing with 3x3 space. They will still have 2 LED 100w on them and the extra space hopefully will encourage more growth! (01/15/22) - Noticed some marks on the lower leaves of the plants, did a pH/fertility soil test and everything looks good 6.5-6.6 and 3-4 on fertile level. Clipped one leaf to exam and it was thrips and looks like all 4 plants were exposed. I cut the infected leaves off right away and getting neem oil spray. Did a simple watering. Next watering will be a feeding. I think I going to feed them Ca/Mg mixture as well, since this is about when my last project was running into issues. Blueberry - (01/09/22) - Everything is on track, heavy defoliation on the lower branches. (1/10/22) She is looking very good with 4 nicely space tops growing now. She showing signs of entering into pre-flowering stage. She only showing hairs at the moment. (01/11/22) Did another round of heavy defoliation...might have went too far. Glue Gelato - (01/09/22) - She compact but I was able to do a decent job defoliating her. (1/10/22) She has 2 nice tops with 2 below, hoping the below one start reaching for the light and sync up with the top 2. She showing signs of entering into pre-flowering stage with a pre-bud starting to form. (01/11/22) Leaving her alone for now. Sweet Gelato - (01/09/22) - Very light defoliation, did more LST tie-down method on her. (1/10/22) I'm seeing 6 tops right now though she does need a little more clipping but I'm waiting on that and it seems like I'm doing this tie-down method correctly. One thing I'm learning about Sweet Gelato is she is very strong plant and has lots of will. She was the first to start showing signs of entering into pre-flowering stage and is starting to from a pre-buds on couple of her tops. (01/11/22) Just did some tightening of the tie-down, nothing was really done. Vanilla Frosting - (01/09/22) - Everything is on track, heavy defoliation on the lower branches. (1/10/22) She is looking very good with 4 nicely space tops growing now. She showing signs of entering into pre-flowering stage but definitely the last to start showing her hairs. (01/11/22) Did another round of heavy defoliation...I stopped a layer less than Blueberry.

(01/16/22) Sprayed down all 4 plants pretty heavy with Bonide neem oil and cut the lights out for 4 hours with the fans turned up max for ventilation. We will wait and see what happen in a couple days...the infestation is very light and caught it right away so I have hopes for a quick recovery but I'm worried about stunt growth at the moment. The amount of leaves I had to cut off the plants was a lot though they still seem to be doing well. (01/17/22) Still seeing some of those dirty little bastards under the leaves but was reading that I need to wait 2-3 days to see improvements with the neem oil. I did a full feeding on all 4 plants 1/4 gallon water each with Tiger Bloom added. Blueberry - (01/16/22) Pre-flowering signs but not as defined as Sweet Gelato Glue Gelato - (01/16/22) Pre-flowering signs but not as defined as Sweet Gelato Vanilla Frosting - (01/16/22) Pre-flowering looking good, white hairs are really starting to come in. Sweet Gelato - (01/16/22) Pre-flowering looking best of all 4, white hairs looking good on all flowering points so far.

(01/23/22) - I haven't posted in a few days because I was battling thrips which I believe has been eradicated using Neem oil(2 treatments), Diatomaceous Earth(1 treatment), and Organocide Insecticide(1 treatment). I've noticed towards the end of the battle the orangish/brownish hairs were being replaced with healthy looking white hairs. So I think recovery is happening though slowly.
