Just coming through - 5 days after planting at about 22C]
12 hours later and she is fully upright 💪
on the second day I put the peat pellet into the coco and now it is up to her... 🙏
***SPRINGTAILS***
My coco is heavily infested with springtails - I knew this before I placed the just germinated seedlings into it - to see if they are detrimental or not to the plants. I suspect they will not harm the roots and so far that seems to be the case.
I'd be interested to hear what other growers think about springtails and if they are harmful or not. As I said, I am pretty convinced they do no harm at all and my very delicate seedlings seem very happy in coco that is swarming with them. 😀
👍 EC 0.9 & pH 5.8
doing nicely and no sign of problems from the springtails 👍
around day 12 I increased the feed strength and by day 14 she has taken on a better colour 💪
She is more eager for nutrients than the gorilla glue auto I am also growing and I have already started her on some cal-mag and silicon in addition to the base feed.
(day 18) I have a feeling she is not 100% happy - sometimes a bit droopy looking - but I am not sure why. The leaves are an excellent colour so it's a bit strange.
As week 4 starts the plant is starting to stretch noticeably - she's getting ready to start flowering 👌
(day 23) massive elongation of branches happening - and pre-flower structures visible at nodes all over her 💪
(day 28) stretched hugely this week and all looking good 😀
this grow has been very easy so far - great genetics 💪 doubled in size over the last seven days and now starting to flower nicely. 👌
she has a nice structure and with no training of any sort 👍
(day 32) looking a bit droopy today after watering
(day 33) no drooping!! 😁
(day 35) looks like she has stopped stretching now and has reached her final shape - I have pretty much left her alone except for removing some lower side branches.
Looking forward to the week ahead - should have stopped stretching now and starting to stack-up the flower sites. 😁
(day 37) cut off some side branches to concentrate flowering into the main branch tips.
(day41) she's a bit of a beast 💪 much larger than my gorilla glue auto!
Going into week 4 of flower and she is developing some nice colas - the main top is going to be FAT, I think. ✊
(day 54) She goes from strength to strength - one of the best plants I have ever grown - and all down to her as I have done nothing special - just give her lots of love!! 💪
And still another 14 days to go - beauty! 💪👌
(day 57) I think she has about 20 days left now - looking very nice 😁
(day 62) The bud leaf is turning kind of a dark copper green colour, which is pretty cool and, in general, she is an amazing plant - in my top 5 all time at this stage.👌💪🙏 I especially like her structure - really happy I haven't defoliated or trained at all - it has an almost fractal quality to it. 😎
Monster! She is just over 1.2m tall and about 1.1m across. Luckily very strong (silicon may help) and the branches are coping with the weight. 😁 + really nice colours + a massive main cola. 💪
(day 67) She is really fattening up now - what a beast!! 💪😬
(day 71) She is finishing off and I think this will be the final week - not much amber in the trichomes yet but the leaves are fading fast on the main cola and I have a few branches sagging under the weight!! 💪💪
(day 72) I plan on taking her down on day 74 so she is now on water only until harvest - lovely copper colours appearing from the top leaves down. I am holding the humidity under 50% and night temp above 17C so we should avoid any rot or mould. 🙏
(day 74) She's down - very heavy - will do a harvest report after drying and trimming. Very strong smell - weirdly like acrylic paint, but good. 👌
