FastBuds Test / ViparSpectra P2000

Day 1 - Her taproot was out today so she’s in her 3 gallon fabric pot and tent. I’ve got the humidity cover over her so hopefully she’ll be pushing through the soil soon. Since this is a test strain, I’m starting the day count from the day the taproot showed and will end the day of harvest. Day 3 - She’s up and out of the soil and her little helmet was just hanging on so took it the rest of the way off with some tweezers. Gave he a light foliar spray and put her humidity cover back over her. Day 5 - Not much to speak of and not much happening. Just gave her and the soil a light spray of water and put her humidity cover back on. Might put a bit more soil in the pot in the next day or so to top it off. Day 6 - All going well after almost a full week of life. She’s getting a bit stretchy so added a bit more soil to the pot and it’s pretty much full now. I gave her another little foliar spray and sprayed the top layer of soil, then put her humidity cap on and put her back into the tent. I’ll probably up the intensity of the light a bit to see if that keeps her a bit squatted. Day 7 - The end of week 1 today and all looks well. Just continuing with the daily foliar spray and keep the humidity cap over her for now.

Day 8 - Starting week 2 today and no major changes or updates. Just continuing with her daily foliar sprays and keeping a humidity cover over her. Day 9 - All looking good with her and seems like turning up the light a bit more has stopped her from getting too leggy. I actually gave her about 50ML’s of water today and inch or so around her base. Put her humidity cover back on her and put her back in the tent. Day 11 - All still going well with her and no issues from giving her some water the other day. So will probably give her about 50 ML’s every few days. Still keeping a cover over her for the humidity. Day 12 - All still going well and nothing much to update. I did give her about 50 ML’s of water around her base today and put her humidity cover back over. Day 13 - All still going good and nothing much of an updated today. Gave her a light foliar spray and put her cover back on. The soil is starting to pack down a bit so will probably add just a bit more to the pot tomorrow. Day 14 - The end of week 2 today and added a bit more soil to the pot and she should be good now. Gave her about 50ML’s of water today and next little watering, I’ll give her the recommended dose of FOOPCanna’s nutrient line. Put her little humidity cover back on her and then back into the tent.

Day 15 - Starting week 3 today and did the usual with her today, foliar spray and put her cover back over her. She’s looking good so hoping by day 21, she’ll be ready to start some LST with her. Day 16 - She’s looking really good so far and gave her about 100ML’s of water with nutes today. Humidity seems pretty good in the tent so gonna keep the cover off of her tonight so she can get some fresh moving air, we’ll see how she does. Day 17 - She’s growing good and by the looks of her, I’ll probably start some LST this weekend. This is a test for FastBuds and they haven’t given me the name of the strain yet but judging by her fat leaves so far, she definitely looking like an Indica strain to me, time will tell. Gave her a nice foliar spray today and put her back into the tent. Day 19 - She’s pretty much ready to start some LST but I gave her about 400ML’s of water and nutes today so will start her training tomorrow. Day 20 - Decided to start LST with her today and gave her a foliar spray. I did remove the two bigger fan leaves from the top as well. Other than that, not much else new. Day 21 - The end of week 3 today and she’s standing tall again after starting LST with her yesterday. Going to give her a couple more days to get some more stretching going before continuing. Gave her a foliar spray today and will give her some more water and nutes tomorrow.

Day 22 - Starting week 4 today and all is going well. Gave her another bit of water and nutes today and hoping she’ll get a bit more stretching going on so I can continue training. She’s got a couple lower branches coming out that I’d like to get more light too but don’t want to remove any leaves from her just yet. Day 23 - Did a little more LST with her today and removed two big fan leaves to really open her up more. Gave her a foliar spray and back into the tent she went. Day 25 - Did a little more training and adjusting to her pipe cleaners today. Also gave her a bit of water and FOOP nutes and upped the dosage to the week 3 recommendation. Day 26 - Looking a little droopy today and looks like she didn’t get enough water yesterday, they soil all around was dry so gave her about 16 ounces of water with FOOP nutes. I did do a little more training with a couple branches as well. Day 27 - Not much new but did do a little more training and adjusting to her today. She’s got some pistils shooting out already on the main stem. Looking forward to this one shaping up and really getting started. Hoping FastBuds will release what strain this is soon, plus the other 8 that I’m testing for them. Day 28 - The end of week 4 today and gave her some more water today, 16 ounces just wasn’t enough. Once she’s dried up again, I might give her a half gallon. Did some more LST with her and readjusted some of the original pipe cleaners. She’s definitely starting to come alive now.

Day 29 - Starting week 5 today and decided to give her a quarter gallon of water and nutes today. The 16 ounces just wasn’t cutting it. Readjusted all her pipe cleaners as well and got her spread out a bit more as well. Day 30 - No adjusting really needed today but did remove a couple of the big fan leaves from the top. She took to the 1/4 gallon of water yesterday just fine and not showing any signs that it was to much for her. Day 33 - All looking good with this girl and did a little defoliating of the bigger fan leaves and adjusted some of her pipe cleaners as well. She’ll be ready for some water and nutes tomorrow. Day 34 - Ready for water today so upped her nutes and gave her a full half gallon of water today. Gonna let her stretch a bit more before doing some more adjustments to her pipe cleaners.

Day 36 - Starting week 6 today and she’s really starting to throw out some pistils, this will probably be her last week of “veg” and will start bloom nutes soon. Did some light adjusting to her pipe cleaners and she’s set up nicely for the stretch. Day 37 - Did a bit more adjusting to the pipe cleaners today and she’s ready to take off whenever she’s ready. Another couple days for more water. Day 39 - Did a bit more adjusting to her pipe cleaners today and removed a couple larger fan leaves blocking some of the bud sites. She also got a gallon of water and her first round of bloom nutes, pH’d to 6.5. Day 40 - Did a bunch more adjusting to the pipe cleaners today and did a bit of defoliating as well. Hopefully this’ll be the last major adjustments to her and can just let her go from here on out. Day 41 - Nothing much new to speak of today, didn’t really have much of anything to adjust so just tucked some leaves a bit and that’s about it. Day 42 - The end of week 6 today and did a few minor adjustments to her pipe cleaners and removed a couple of bigger fan leaves. She’s still got another day or two before she’s ready for some water and nutes.

Day 43 - Starting week 7 today and this is her first full week of flower. Did a bit of defoliating with her today and adjusted 2 or 3 pipe cleaners. She’s gonna get a gallon and a half of water and nutes tomorrow, just getting close to dry. Day 44 - She was ready for water today so gave her a gallon plus the week 2 of flower dosage. Did one or two minor adjustments to the pipe cleaners but she’s pretty much set up for flower now. Day 46 - Ended up doing quite a bit of adjusting to her pipe cleaners today. Even though I could of let her just continue stretching, I like keeping them low and compact. Day 48 - She was ready for water so gave her a gallon with some FOOP nutes. Did a bit of defoliating today as well, she needed some leaves removed. Day 49 - The end of week 7 today and just did two minor adjustments to the pipe cleaners and removed a couple more leaves. Buds are stacking up nicely and frost is really starting to come out now.

Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she’s really starting to get some nice frost going and got a nice smell going on, just can’t figure out what it smells like yet. Hopefully as she gets stronger, I’ll be able to figure it out. Did a little more defoliating today and adjusted a couple more pipe cleaners. Day 51 - Get close to being ready for some more water but still looking like another day or two. Did a couple small adjustments to the pipe cleaners again today and tucked some leaves. Day 53 - She was finally ready for some water so she got a full gallon with FOOP nutes. I also added in 5ML’s if Cal-Mag as well. No adjustments or defoliating today, just some leaf tucking. Day 55 - She’s just about ready for water so she’ll get a gallon with nutes tomorrow. Looks like all the adjustments that need to be done and have been done, so just letting her stack and fatten up. Definitely starting to get a strong fruity smell from her right now, with a hint of mellow coffee or something. Looking forward to the strain release so I know what I’m growing. Day 56 - The end of week 8 today and gave her a gallon of water and her FOOP nutes, I also added in some Cal-Mag ever feeding this grow. Removed just a couple fan leaves and tucked the others that I was able to.

Day 57 - Starting week 9 and she’s stacking up nicely so far. This is the first one I’ve grown where I’ve actually seen trichs growing all over the stems themselves. I wasn’t sure what it was was but checked through the jewelers loupe and they are definitely trichs, crazy. Other than that, did a bunch of leaf tucking after her daily pics and that’s about it. Day 60 - She was ready for water today and gave her a gallon with an upped dosage of nutes. Not much I need to do with her right now other than some leaf tucking. Day 61 - Nothing major today, removed a few leaves and did some more leaf tucking. Looking like the stretching has stopped for the most part and ready for her to start focusing on fattening up. Day 62 - Did a little defoliating today and more leaf tucking. Not much else to really do. Should be ready for another gallon of water in another day or two. Day 63 - The end of week 9 and all looks good. She’ll get a gallon of water and nutes tomorrow and tonight just did a bit of leave tucking and removed a few lower dead leaves.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and started her off with a gallon of water at FOOP nutes. Other than that, just continuing with doing leaf tucking each day. She’s really stacking up and there is frost absolutely everywhere. Day 65 - Nothing to update today other than some updated pictures. Day 68 - She’s definitely got something going on and doing some research, I may be over feeding her. Going by FOOP nutrients charts, it says to use every watering if using soil so that’s what I’ve been doing but just seems to be too much for her overall. Decided I’m going to start giving her nutes every third watering from here on out. So today, I gave her a gallon and a half of plain water but did add cal-mag but that’s it. Day 69 - Nothing to really update today, just did some leaf tucking and put her back into the tent. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and still not much going on. I don’t think she’s gonna really fatten up like she said because of overfeeding and such throughout her grow and she looks like she might be getting close to being done but that’s one thing I love about growing these things, you’re always learning something. She may surprise me and we’ll see over the next couple weeks and won’t chop her until the trichs tell me she’s ready.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and she’s still going strong. I dialed down the light to about 80% and hoping that’ll stop the possible sunburn she’s getting. May try and dial it to 70% if 80 is still to much. Also going to up her dosage of cal-mag next feeding but think all may be too late for this girl but time will tell. Day 72 - Gave the girl another gallon of plain water and cal-mag tonight. Not much else going on with this one. Day 74 - Nothing new really to speak of today. I did recalibrate my pH pen and come to find out, it was off by about 1.9. Definitely enough to screw some shit up. I typically verify everything every two weeks or so and can’t believe it was off that much but it’s been corrected and hopefully I’ll have no more issues but probably too late for this girl but time will tell. Day 75 - Nothing to speak of today, just some daily pictures. Day 76 - She seems to be doing better since I got the pH and my pH pen corrected so hopefully the next week or so, she’ll fatten up a bit but if it, I’ll take what she gives me because she is smelling amazing! Day 77 - The end of week 11 and I think I’m giving her one, maybe two weeks before chopping. I did give her a gallon of water with nutes today since she does seem to be bulking up a bit and not quite done yet. We’ll see how she takes to the nutes with correct pH now and if she really starts fattening up more, I’ll let her go a bit longer.

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and possibly her last week before getting chopped down. Next watering will be plain pH’d water and will continue with plain water until she’s ready. Day 79 - Nothing new today, other than waiting for her to be ready for chopping. Gonna start really checking trichs tomorrow. Day 81 - She’ll get one more watering tomorrow and will probably give her the chop after she dries up. There’s still a few clear trichs in there but not many. I’m hoping in the next week, she’ll get up to about 15% amber. Day 82 - Gave her the last gallon of water today and just plain pH’d water. Once she’s dried up, she’ll probably get chopped but if the trichs don’t have the right amount of amber for me, I may give her one more drink. Day 83 - Nothing new today, just waiting for more amber trichs to show up. Not much in her just yet but hoping soon, may give her one more week.

Day 85 - Starting week 13 and for sure her finals week, she’s actually only got about 3 days left. She’s starting to amber up and at about 10% right now so she’ll be to my liking on Saturday, when she’ll get chopped. She actually rebounded a lot better than I thought after getting my pH pen corrected.

Overall being a tester seed, this girl flourished. She didn’t quite get nice and fat but that was due to my errors and not ensuring the pH was working properly. She was being fed and the pH’d water was actually off by almost 2. Feeding her at 6.5 but the true reading was 7.5 so quite a bit higher than it needs to be for soil and it hurt her in the long run. After correcting, she rebounded nicely but it was a little bit too late. Lesson learned for next grow of this girl and I’m looking forward to finding out how she tastes and smokes, and what this strain actually is.
