Yes I’m missing #5. It got decapitated at some point and died. #7 is a tri leaf mutation. Others are chugging along nicely. Not good conditions in house for veg. Cold dry shit has been making RH plummet lately and that’s slowing growth a bit all around. I believe a mouse got in one night and ate the cotyledons off most of these. They just disappeared overnight and had bite marks in em. Stay tuned this should be a fun one folks. Custom bred by yours truly ——————UPDATE—————— Older one got up potted to 1 gallon plastic bag. These are quite small for age, maybe I shouldn’t have jumped the gun, and let these dry out more after harvesting.. I’ll probably pop some more now that they’ve been thoroughly dried out

Well I moved to another location and played musical chairs with some shit to get better conditions for these seedlings. January in Michigan right now is killing indoor growth, low ass humidity and low ass temps. BUT I got them in a better spot than they were and it’s helping considerably. Looks like the tri leaf one isn’t gonna stay like that but we’ll see..

So these have been in a new tent that’s been in frankly pitiful conditions.. barely reaching 70 during the day. This cold weather is tonight without supplemental heat So I’m trying to work a hands off run with these cuz I’m just testing out the genetics basically. Doing soil for the first time in quite a while. Using this Detroit nutrient company “water only” soil. Should buy me several weeks as I’m gonna flip these soon

So these have been in the Detroit Nutrient Company “Great Lakes Water Only” soil for about a week now. These are approximately 1 gallon bags. Will flower in these as this is just a test run for my BBxPBB cross. The trileaf mutation has turned into just a weird self topped kinda plant but not really. I topped all these at some point in the last week or so. Will be starting 12/12 soon if I can figure a plan out for them to flower somewhere besides this tent cuz this is supposed to be my little breeding tent. Popped 5 more just in case there wasn’t enough females outta this lot. They’re in solo cups of the same soil. Recommend anyone using this to get maybe a yucca extract or something to act as a surfactant. This shit was super hydrophobic. Pics of Bluenut 1 added - believe it to be Fem.. been in 12/12 a few days. That one is in my standard soilless/coco mix Alright thanks for checking in y’all !

All right so start off with good news, the oldest plant has been in flower for a little over a week and it is definitely female. She’s looking real good, this one is not in the water only soil. This is in my normal coco mix. Very excited to have this first one that popped be a female.. it’s a week or two older than the others here. Started flower jan 26. Nice tight nodes still, which seems to be a common trait among all these so far as well as some seedling color. As far as the other five I have, they’re doing better now.. still showing some issues. Almost looks like N excess causing some micro deficiencies. They’ve been in this great lakes water only soil now for at least two weeks I think. The humidity was quite low so I put a humidifier in there with them. Growth is picking up though I can tell. Some are displaying the rust spots badly and some not at all. Could be from when they were in solo cup still. Takes a while for these issues to manifest in the leaves.. so not blaming it on the soil at this point. Anyhow, the trileaf mutation on #7 has continued on from main trunk to a side stem.. and the main branch was growing regularly after it moved to that side branch. It’s like it chose to go out on that branch and grow as normal on nodes above that. It’s been topped. Will be interesting to see how it progresses from here. I took off alot of the lower growth so it could concentrate on that branch. I really hope it ends up female so I can see how it flowers. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out. Got some cool projects going in other diaries as well. Got some breeding I’m working on, probably will do a diary on that as well. Got a experiment going now where I clone and pollinate a week 3 flowering plant. Doubt it will work but I’d like to see what it does.

BN1 has been in flower about two weeks. Starting to see beginnings of flower formations. Pistils and stigmas are showing up a lot more now. So excited to see the fruits of my labors now! And I’ve got 5 more right behind in BN 2,3,4,6,&7 Should have plenty of females to see what kinda variation we have and what traits dominate. I don’t have a lot of pics or PBB fems from this line unfortunately I was looking for a male and can only show male I used.. Main take away so far is these have EXTREMELY tight nodes. I’ve only seen one other plant even close to this and it still wasn’t touching these Bluenuts.. that’s an excellent trait to have for flower.. minimal stretching so far also in the one I have in flower. So much will he revealed in the next month or two! Stay tuned

Hey we got the flower and blue nut butter. That thing is like three weeks and a flower or so. Everything else that you see vegging is about to be flipped. Crazy tight nodes as I mentioned. The one flowering not so much. The one flowering reminds me like exactly of how the mother BB grew for me. These are weird man. I’m not good at reading leaf health when color is involved.. these things get super dark during flower and it seems they yellow a bit first then get dark.. not sure if that’s normal but I’ve noticed that to be the case a lot with real colorful plants

This girls about a month in flowering. Slow start. Or maybe it just used to clones. 5 more in the 2x4 are gonna get flipped this week. Those all are very consistent phenos as far as I can tell in Veg which is quite surprising for the first generation of seeds or “F1” as commonly referred to as for first gen crosses. Stay tuned ! ———-UPDATE ———— 5 Bluenuts are now in 12/12. Added some flower girl from dr earth to them FLIP DATE - Feb 26

BN1 probably about 1-2 weeks out from chop. Smaller flowers, great color and frost. Smell is bomb blueberry with some like savory smells or something on top of it. Other plants I got 3 fems from. All those are about 2 weeks into flower. Got some nice trich pics - those are at day 51

Added 20ML dry flower girl to each of the younger flowering girls. Remaining are BN2,BN3,BN6 Happy to see very similar structure and pace so far. Seems some good stability so far in this small tester run. That’s always good. BN1 is 52 days in I believe to flower and about ready for chop. Quick flowerers for sure. 8 weeks will be perfect for BN1. Other 3 (2,3,6) are day 21 exactly. Great trigger on these or fast flowering may just be inherent. These would be an excellent candidate for SOG. Tight nodes, not much stretch. Love to see these in bigger containers- keep in mind these are the 1 gallon Thanks for stopping by. Hit me up on DM or comments for any questions you have.. Day 54 F trich porn added

Pulled down the Bluenut butter 1 today. Day 58 of flower Didn’t show much in the way of fade but these leaves have been weird the whole grow. Looked N toxxed for some time but really think it was the underlying color. Anyhow 3 more still flowering at week 3 or 4 I believe. Will add more pics of those soon. This is looking quite promising I’m very happy with most the variables.. tiled looking low on this first pheno but well see on the other 3. Frosty as all hell. You can see the early pull tester bud I took around day 53

Shitty Veg cycle cuz had trouble keeping basement warm.. so far from optimal conditions there. Tight nodes in Veg, stretched more in flower. Flower cycle was 58 days.. coulda pushed 65 for more degradation of trichs. Low yield, but everything else is amazing. Terps are very nice. Haven’t seen other phenos thru flower but this probably leaned a bit towards BB mom.

So these are the remaining 3 fems. Flip date feb 26 so were 49 days into flower or so? Few diff phenos now showing out.. All look good, one looks to have an unusual like fasciated or polyploid bud on top. Must be a trait from PBB side maybe or recessive somewhere Terps are diff on these - a bit diff than first Bluenut I harvested Thanks for checking in folks

Looking really healthy have you had any root issues using those bags? I'd like to utilize something convenient like that for a SOG. Seems easier to manage shape wise anyway.

@TragicTerps, roots look killer when done, I always look at them and I’ve used these several times thru harvest. I’ve also transplanted from these as well. This is exactly how they come..

@Ezzjaybruh, awesome info, are you planning on doing a root picture after harvest? I'd be curious to see how they look after. I like the GE ports at the bottom pretty slick, did you add them? I know I could just DM you but figure if other people are curious they'll see too.

Hey friend, Good looking plants and VERY awesome sounding strain! Would it be alright with you if I offered some pointers? Just based off your notation of saying slow start I would advise this, Cannabis plants love heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it, I took a look back through your journal and your temps are definitely on the low side with lights on and lights off. 50% humidity at this stage is okay for sure, But with lights on we should be looking for 79-84 MAX and no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. Roots grow really slowly when the temps are cold in the room and it will stunt the plants. It is most noticeable when the root structures are small to begin with. We want to keep our temp gap between lights on and lights off tight in veg and early flower. No more than 9 degrees less with lights off, If we allow for too much fluctuation in temperature we will cause our plants to stretch a lot. Once you begin to get into flower temperature plays a big role on how our buds will develop. Too cold and our buds will be extremely dense and caked but we sacrifice a lot of size. If too hot, Our buds will be big and airy and prone to fox tail with minimum cake. The best of both worlds seems to be around 77-80 degrees with lights on. As our plants progress through their life cycle and begin to finish their vertical growth by weeks 4 - 6 of flower we can then begin opening up our temperature gaps between lights on and off to beyond more than 10 degrees less with lights off. This will now cause our plants to put extra energy into the budding process and resin production. It is a good tactic to finish our plants off nicely. Also one last thing, Check out sungrip light pulleys. They are great for getting lights closer to plants. Check out VPD, Vapor pressure deficit if you have not done so yet it is a good tool for all growers to utilize. Keep up the great work! If you got a minute check out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary I just completed and follow my profile! I am currently producing a youtube tutorial series for all levels of growers to use and learn from, If that interests you check out my youtube channel and sub. It is linked off my growdiaries profile. Happy growing!

@LegacyMarketFarm, Thanks buddy I’ll always take advise, especially from ppl who know what they’re talking about. I am aware of a lot of what you mentioned. My response is two fold- Firstly, a lot of my temp numbers on diaries are just manufactured because I don’t often have the numbers by me when I’m writing the week up.. Secondly, a majority of my plants are in my basement in Michigan, and in the winter - it’s a struggle to keep temps up down there as it’s “unfinished”. One tent I did tie in a split from my ducting to warm it up, and that helped.. but I struggle to keep things at low 70s most the time. My last 4 months of grows reflect that. I am privy to VPD and try to do my best with different things but again - resources are limited as this is a personal set up. This is something I’ve had to deal with and work around, and if nothing changes much - I plan to take off thanksgiving to around now (end of feb) to avoid these issues.. Obviously space heaters are an option which I sometimes utilize when absolutely necessary, but they really increase electric draw.. I certainly appreciate the time invested in your comment. I am currently in a certificate course online thru Utah State University called “The science and technology of medical cannabis cultivation “ taught by none other than Dr Bruce Bugbee.. it’s been extremely informative and helps separate a lot of the myths and “bro science” that is prevalent in this industry , from the science and facts. Thanks for stopping by! I’ve seen your big diary it’s quite impressive.
