This is my extra freebie that GOG sent my way for signing up for the autumn cup. Since the other Sherbet didn't make it I figured this would be a good try to replace them. Fingers crossed!
My goal with this plant is to take the final product and make some rad cbd rosin.
12.31.2021 started seed in water. Waiting for taproot to sprout
1.01.2022 taproot sprouted, moved seed to soil
Jan 4th, 2022, the critical relief cbd finally broke through the ground! Glad to see it's taking well to the soil, looking forward to growing this one out 😁
Cheers til next time

So far doing good! looking at doing a transplant to 5 gal soon since roots are poking through the peat pot. Otherwise I think this guy will do well. A bit top heavy but I'm sure it'll fill in
We topped this one and I can't wait to see how it recovers. So far it's turning out to be a very lanky one. Might make a great candidate to do SCROG. Thinking I may manifold this one.
So far thus critical relief CBD is growing well, and has managed to grow 7 inches tall! Very spacious girl between nodes so it's gonna be a lot of training hut for now we're letting her get settled into the new soil and recover from being topped. Not much change this week but that is to be expected given the double up on stress. We are seeing the top growths starting to move though!

So far doing well. Not much to report. We topped this day.

Mid week check in to see how things are holding up. So far looking strong, but I noticed the leaves are a it crispy on the edges. That might be from spraying water in full light, but time will tell. Removed the cloche as she was getting too bucnhed up in there.
W3D7
End of the week, we can see the tops growing more and regularly so that is a good sign. When. I see them develop a bit more ill plan to start LST
Can't wait to see what the next week brings!
Cheers til next time

WE HAVE A NAME! the Critical Relief CBD is now going to be referenced as " Carla B. Daniels" (yes the whole thing and yes everytime)
W4D1 - 25Jan2022
So far things are looking well in the tent. After transplant, and recovering from stress and is looking a little hungry.
W4D2
Did a feeding of the veg nutrients (4 tbsp of Dr. Earth topdress), and also an instant nutrient compost tea using the Green Gro nutrients and Recharge. Hoping to see there won't be too many issues
W4D4
With tip dressing it can be pretty frustrating to handle the feedings at times because it's a slower fix if you catch a deficiency. You can see the leaves are looking a little worse for wear. But the new growth is coming in healthy so my attention is mostly focused there.
W4D6
I'm sure folks will say it needs light, but this thing is LANKY! Carla B. Daniel's is under the Mars hydro ts1000 and so frigging lanky! She's definitely going to be a tall girl when we send her to flower. Maybe doing a SCROG will help? 🤔
Overall the plant is doing well but showing signs that it's ready for regular feeding. Usually after a transplant, they need more time for a feeding, but we're gonna step in early and hopefully fix her up soon.
W5D1 - Feb 1st
I did what I think might be the hardest LST of my career as a grower. Carla B. Daniel's has managed to grow to damn near a foot and we needed to break that down to something that will actually flower well. After a lot of bending and supercropping,we made it work! And Carla B Daniels seems to be A ok with the abuse.
W5d7 filling of the SCROG already! Its a small 2x2, but honestly shocked by just how quickly this got filled up. At this point I'm just gonna be doing a little of the underbrush maintenance and sending her into flower soon
Overall Carla B Daniels has been growing strong and unstoppable. Even when one of the branches snapped completely, she didn't even hiccup. I'm surprised she's so resilient. whatever GOG did to the parents seems to have really translated well to the progeny in terms of pure unadulterated growth.
Catch yall next week when we start flower!
Cheers til next time

So far Carla B Daniels is growing strong. She's. Very lanky, and it's too early to tell sex. I'm expecting that she'll fill in the scrog well since she's so lanky.
W6D4, I'm thinking I'll add an extra netting layer so the taller arms can have a rest point.
Overall, Carla B Daniels is a string and hearty girl. I can't wait to see how she comes along!
W7D1 - Feb 15th
.. looks like Carla B Daniels may be a herm. I'm going to give it more time before I say for sure but it looks like this may be a dud
W7d5
Yep it's a male. I'm not even sure if it's a herm, hut it is what is. This'll be the end of the run for Carla. My other grows will hopefully keep on going in this ones memory!!
Honestly I'm annoyed that it is male. I mean even a herm would be a little bit less stinging, but it is what it is. I hope GOG works out this issue since I think these were "feminized"
